I love my se2. I cant justify spending $550 more for a watch that looks slightly better and has a better battery life. My Se2 does everything i need it to.
For 85% of people the se2 is the one to get. It’s got basically everything you need on a smart watch.

My Ultra looks perfect too and just this morning I noticed battery capacity is now 99% which I consider pretty good considering it's been worn every day for the past year and about two or three times a month hits reserve because I don't charge it every day.
I use an se2 at work where I can’t have my phone with me. It does exactly what you need from an Apple Watch without spending a ton.

i got the se2 last year and still love it. i’m a runner and i skate. i ran 7mi on campus before my last class yesterday and the watch was clutch. i use the watch for flashlight, cals, music, and workouts. the only downside with the se2 is not having the always on display. but as a person who uses their apple watch extensively, for marathons, swimming, skating, can’t live without it. since the apple watch 2, i’ve always had one to actually use. even for payments at the store i’ll use my watch. everyone else i know though that currently have an ultra or series 8 don’t use it and it baffles me. in general, the se2 is solid, trust me. as a person who really is active and uses the watch 24/7, get the se2 if you’re hesitant in general about the watches
How’s the battery life on that? I’m looking to buy a watch but I really only want it so I can tell the time, and be able to text and see my notifications. Which ones do u think I should be looking at?
@@George-sn6ci i still recommend the se2. the only time i really wanted the always on display was when i was driving one time and wanted the directions on my watch at the time. getting used to still using my phone or or now carplay killed that problem. the battery life is solid. each day i will constant use only 50%. so 2 days use is common, but might die towards the end of the second night. low power mode also mitigates this issue. for notifications and texts, every watch does that, so the choice is yours

Advice or not I have bought the Series 9 in Stainless steel Midnight. I'm upgrading from a series 4 aluminum. They are giving me $60 trade in for my series 4 which is $35 more than what they previously were giving. My series 4 is still working all day long even though the battery is degraded at 72% full charge capacity. The ultra would look ridiculous on my wrist because I have a small wrist. So I even went with the 41mm instead of the 45mm as well.
Why i don't see nothing about SE 3 (2023)? Only in stores, nothing on youtube

Still on my Series 4 stainless steel since launch and not planning on upgrading this year. My only complaint with this watch is the lack of true 24 hour battery, and the ultra is too big / bulky in my opinion. I’ve debated on replacing the battery as its health is 79% but putting money into the oldest support watch makes zero sense.
When did you buy it?

The stainless steel Apple watch is very durable. My Series 3 still looks new. I doubt an Ultra would look as good after 6 years
I recently upgraded to the Series 8 from the 5 for $90 CAD less than the 9 and am loving it so far. The larger screen is gorgeous and the SoC is noticeably faster. Curious about how the speed would compare to the 9 in watchOS 10, but the 8 is definitely more than fast enough. Also really love the Midnight SKU!
I went from the Apple Watch SE first generation to the Apple Watch 8. With lte and gps I am loving it 45 mm screen is so nice. Love it for sure

Considering this cheaper than the Apple Watch 9 yet all the same features. I had a 6 before but screen shattered then downgraded to the se then just got the series 8. It has what I need for features and more plus for being a diabetic it is hands down a great device for so much

I got SE for the missus as she can't always have the phone with her at work and is good enough for her use. Always on display is nice to have but not really required.
I agree, if you are going for the 9 stainless steel, you're better off going for the ultra 2 but IMO, better with Ultra 1 as you can get it cheaper and the difference between Ultra 2 vs Ultra 1 is minimal.

I really dont understand such videos. Its quite obvious, that the ultra 2 would be the best among the three given its price. The video should have been about how good the 9 series and SE are in terms of their price. The way the SE is completely ruled out makes it seem like a decade too old, which actually isnt the case. And comparison videos like this ought to highlight the relevance of the cheapest apple watch (SE) in spite of being left out without any new upgrades, coz it is the one, which in all probability, will be chosen by most of the common folk owing to its price tag. In India, the price of the series 9, 45mm gps only is 45k. And the SE(GEN2), 44mm gps+cellular + apple care costs 45k. So which one offers the most value against its price ?

I loved my stainless steel Series 5, but dropped it and cracked the crystal glass. No warranty and I’m really upset! I bought the tougher material and it still cracked.

To be honest I am very sad that the battery life wasn’t improved when it comes to ultra 2.
Also I am sad because of the next year without any new sensor. What do you guys think about that? Should we still wait for things like blood pressure meter and the glucometer?
The battery life may actually end up being better , as always battery life is usually different for how each person uses their device , for a start if people are using 3000 nits of brightness , its not going to be wonderful, a bit of common sense it might be ok.
Yea I agree with you, I was hoping for a space black ultra 2 with a slightly larger battery…and for the series 9 to also have longer battery life…

Yes, the Apple Watch Ultra is bigger. I have one. And the nine is more sleek. But there is a trade-off. The ultra watch is made of high-grade, steel stainless steel. The nine is aluminum. The glass on the nine can be scratched easily and the aluminum, of course scratches easily. The stainless steel is rugged is built for those who really get out there. It’s a good thing that Apple makes different watches for different needs. There is no one that is a right fit for everyone. Choose the one you like. You don’t have to be an outdoor enthusiast to like the ultra watch and you can be an outdoor enthusiast and use the Apple Watch nine. It really is personal choice.
The Ultra is made of titanium. The Series 9 comes with a choice of either titanium and stainless steel.
I upgraded my from S7 to S9. Don't see anything different. Wish I hold out for one more year for the S10.

Which watch buy, buy the mostly expensive because there are features impossible use, like 100 m resistance, blood pressure (need comparison) or huge size (no compatible with small wrist). Come with snap commands, which answered during normal daily movements, an improved Siri, which answered you during normal talks and a precise navigation system (which doesn't understand mediocre what precise means). If you need a watch for work out, the apple watch is fabulous, break easily, the rubbers band got icky easily and the battery last longer (for work outs, like 2 hours). Sincerely, buying a apple watch is necessary only if you have a iPhone. Because integrations and connections work amazing, otherwise, it's one more "do all" which "does do anything properly at all"

Either way you have to get the battery replaced every three years recommended by apple.

Picking my series 9 on Friday. Can’t wait. But got a case for it this time as my S4 watch face smashed after 5 years and apple won’t give me any trade value.
Was tempted to get a reburbished S8 but the 2000 nits, upgraded processor swung it for me. The finger tap 👌 is also a nice addition.

I’m sorry but I have to disagree. First time Apple Watch buyer and I can get an SE with cellular for $299 while having that in a series 9 is almost double the price. New features are nice but not worth paying twice as much.
Should I upgrade from the 14 Pro to the 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max? Currently, I have the iPhone 14 Pro Space Black 256GB which has scrolling stuttering, battery life is bad, it has lags in the Camera app and some games and overheating issues. Battery and Camera are the most important things for me and I used a 12PM before which was too big and heavy to use, but now there is the lighter Titanium material and the curved edges make it feel more comfortable to use. So therefore, should I still chose the 15 Pro Max over the 15 Pro this year? Also, is 256GB enough? And, which color would you choose?
If your a camera and battery guy, then yeah go for 15 pro max. 15 pro and 14 pro very similar

perhaps you should try an Iphone 8 for a week then go back to your 14 pro and be happy with what you have. if the battery is toast perhaps get a new battery installed by apple and that might also solve some of your overheating issues. after a year of using the 15 you probably will have a bad battery again at this point. i don't see the upgrade as necessary unless you can sell your current one for 70% of what you bought it for
I think if you’re gonna upgrade at all get the max you will like the battery upgrade for sure. I really wanna pro but I know I will kill that battery so fast so I always choose the pro max.

Exactly! I love my se! It does all I need to do. When my se dies I will probably get the series nine but I am not spending 800 dollars or more on an Apple Watch.

No monthly fee for GPS, but yes for phone service.
it is optional if you want to use the cellular just like any of the watches. all the ultras have the cellular capability in them but only some of the series 9 have that capability. you really need to research this more as your question indicates your lack of understanding. until you fully get understand how these work do not buy anything.

I am trading my watch 7 for watch 9. I loved my watch 7 and it’s features. The reason for the trade is for the more efficient chip which I think is a huge Benefit for future proofing for newer features that may come in the future. The Apple Watch ultra for me would be over kill. The biggest features I’d like would be bigger display and longer battery life. But I’ve watch a couple videos now of scientific reviews that show the ultras weight works against it with workout tracking accuracy. The weight moved it around on the wrist to much giving it bad results. But you guys pick what you think is best for you! Happy shopping

I got the new ultra 2 Apple Watch. It’s a disappointment and just the same as the others, except for its UI and the battery life.. meanwhile the rest of it is the same, I recommend getting the se8 or se7

Apparently if you have tattoos on your arms the sensor can’t detect your wrists properly so as of now I can’t wear any of smart watches 😅 still works kind of but you have to unlock the watches more often.

What was the minimum brightness of the previous models?
i thought it was 2 nits min brightness for 7 and 8 series. the 9 series min is 1 nit. so only 1 nit of difference is not a lot of nit for your wit.
Previous series model were 1000 nits. Now the series 9 has 2000

Upgrading from a series 3 because my phone notify my notification 30 sec before my watch does and battery doesn’t last me my entire 8 hour shift. Also not able to be on the latest os, it’s finally time for the series 9
If u got the cellular model it’s prob still valid but the gps model like mine literally doesn’t run anymore because of the memory difference

What is the decibel count these guys record the dialogue at haha? It’s always so loud. Like being screamed at calmly. Literally turned my iPhone done to the slowest setting and can STILL hear.
That’s why I always listen to these guys in the shower. Perfect volume for screaming over the sound of the water. 😂
