I was struck by Eliana’s voice from the beginning - her low notes! She has range! I wonder how many octaves… Always an expressive singer. I didn’t understand the lyrics of the song but she communicates that there was a storytelling progression by the way she sings. She even seemed to get emotional at multiple points which made her change him the normal tempo to a more laid-back and conversational style. I’m sure with lyrics I would be even not directly moved, but even without them my mind began to imagine scenes of its own, with Eliana’s voice in the background…. Job well done!
