To me, it was underrated and still is. Criminally. But, I do get it at the same time because Motley Crue - even as much as I love that album - is Vince, Nikki, Mick and Tommy (of course now there's no Mick so we'll see on that). I just wish they would have called this something other than Motley Crue. I don't think it would have helped record sales greatly but I do think it could have been a project Mick, Nikki and Tommy could have returned to so they could do another album. They wrote some great blues based rock on this album. It's cool to hear how natural of a progression it was from Primal Scream to all this. Anyways, sorry for blabbing. Appreciate you!!!
Hey Dude! I’m 63 years old brother and tonight is the first time I’ve seen your drum covers ever! Impressive does it do it justice! I feel like aliens, came down, ripped the top of my head open and shot a syringe of beautiful music in my brain! I’m truly blessed to have heard and will continue to listen to your covers my friend! Thank you, truly thank you! And you Sir, your talent is out of this world! 😃🤘🏻👊 Your friend for life !
Jerry, what is happening my dude???? Well buddy - first thing is that I am so, SO sorry for the delayed response on my part. This has been a stretch where drumming time has been limited. I got home and started reading / responding and this one............dude, this has made my night!!!!! I mean that so damn much. Man, in addition to making me (genuinely) smile, the fact that you feel this way is all I need to feel like being on here is worth it. I am so incredibly grateful to be able to get on here and perform that I can't do a good enough job telling ppl how much I appreciate it. That said, thank YOU for being you and for being so amazingly kind my friend 💪💪👊👊🤘🤘🤘❤❤🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums you are brother, the talent above all talents that I’ve seen! Your drumming dude is magnificent I try to drum and I do pretty much kind of well but you just out drama me in every aspect, my brother! I am Al do you, my brother, you are exceptional, and then some!
Thank you Stephen! My hearing isn't what it used to be (USE SOME FORM OF HEARING PROTECTION LIVE KIDS....LOL!) so I think I've got most of it. Only thing I couldn't completely make out was the opening and closing of the hats in the verses so I just opened 'em and compressed em since I was unsure. But I don't doubt I missed some other stuff too. But Thank you so, so much for the kind words and checking it out!
@@TreyBDrums you nailed it. ..and I feel what you're say about the hearing. I too played drums since '87 , played many times with terrible sound systems bad rooms etc. I'm now 48 and I hate a quiet room at night lol I know you get that joke. Yes tinnitus..but you definitely got the song down. Keep rocking!
Damn Trey I’ve been waiting a long time for this cover man! Love the syncopated feel Tommy lays down on this track, and you nailed it... keep up the good work man, I’ve been a fan of yours from the beginning!
What's up Curtis! First and foremost - thank you for just being kind enough to check it out. That's 3 down and I'll get to a 4th track over the winter. And I'm also gonna try to do one from Vince Neil's solo album. That was honestly just a fun party record that also went under the radar back then. I so, so appreciate the kind words my friend.
Yea Bro,I liked a few tracks off of that vince record,LOOK IN HER EYES,THE EDGE and SISTER OF PAIN was alright, but the first 2 I mentioned were definately something that could've gone on an old Crue record, actually that whole first side to that album EXPOSED sounded much like Crue, more so then the Corabi lead Crue, but that 94 album with CORABI was a F'N MONSTER,in every way!!
Hey Gustavo! I hope all is great in Argentine! One of my favorite hard rock albums of all time. I so, SO appreciate the support my friend 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘. I've also covered 'Til Death Do Us Part, Uncle Jack, Misunderstood and Smoke The Sky. If you like any of those - they are on the channel bro. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Fantastic job. Not just another guy going through the motions of playing a cover, you give it all the style and energy that make the source material as good as it is and that extra work on your part makes all the difference.
What up! That's certainly beyond kind buddy. Enough so that it made me smile so I sure thank you for that SWTV! But in all honesty, I try to stay fairly true to the cuts from this album. It was just so influential to me at the time both from a playing standpoint and how it was mixed. Thank you for being kind enough to check it out and for your super kind words!
Greatly appreciated Mark! I feel pretty lonely at times but I'll fly the flag for this album as long as I play. And at some point - I'm gonna do two cuts off Vince Neil's solo album. I actually thought that was a seriously good "party" album at the time. May have actually been one of the last ones I heard for a long time. I would've liked for both camps to have produced a bit more material
Hey Cheri! They definitely won't be playing this any time soon.....LOLOL! And I'm like you - I've never seen 'em do this live. I was lucky enough to see one of their shows on this tour but this wasn't in the setlist. And Type O Negative was the opener. They f'n ruled. Great show in a 1500 seat (give or take) venue. John Corabi was awesome live.
What up my friend! I still love Planet Boom! I was pretty young when that came out but I thought that was a BAD ASS track. This era of his playing is really impressive to me. Just deep pocket grooves. And the dude hit 'em hard as hell. The sound on the 94 album is still possibly my favorite hard rock sound I've ever heard. Appreciate it!
@@TreyBDrums Maybe you want to make a video clip with me? After I heard your drumming, I can’t listen to other drummers ... You play a lot more inventive!
The drumming, the video, the editing, the sound are all 5⭐!! Love me some Crue and you KILLED it!! Massive drum sound and that snare is SICK! Big like here Trey! Always look forward to your videos! Play em in the studio or my ride to work makes me happy! 🤘👊
Dude, gonna say this one more time even though I've said it in the comments and all over FB - you DESTROYED the Sworn Enemy cover! And now that I've listened to it 9 times (HAHAHA), parts of it have an Exodus feel almost. KILLER job. As always, thank you for being kind enough to check it out KM!
Dude 1:12 that was sick man. You killed this cover like all of your covers. So freaking good. Amazing work. Its come to where I cant wait until Friday's get here to watch your covers.
Yo Michael! Man, that's way too kind. Thank you buddy. That's a neat little fill! Never saw 'em do this live so I'm not sure how he put the sticking together. I ended up going to the right. Tried it L and R but the right just had more umph to it...LOL! Again, thank you so, so much
@@TreyBDrums Yeah man I like how you did it. Nothing wrong with doing what you have to do to get it like the way you like it. Again fans work like always.
I am humbled by this comment to say the least. Oh you have no clue how much I would love to have the gear and the ability to get the capture they got on that album. That drum sound is so damn good TSM! So my friend, I simply and sincerely thank you and I mean every word of it bud.
Appreciate is Dave! Just finished listening / liking Solitary Man! Love me some J Cash my friend. Great job! Thanks for being kind enough to check it out bud
Yo Chris! Agreed - I flat out love the drums on this album. The feel of the tracks, the placement of the hits, the way it just kinda flowed and had some rawness to it and the f'n SOUND. Everyone has their own sound they love. To me, I can never achieve that sound but it's the epitome of the way I hear rock drums. Dude, the comment is MUCH appreciated. Thanks for being kind enough to check it out Chris!
Yo Jason! First, thanks so much for checking it out! Second - agreed on the song. That's a HELL of a way to open an album. Got my attention fast. Musically and lyrically, it's a powerhouse. Absolutely love Tommy's drumming from beginning to end on that album. Thanks again my friend!
Much appreciated Mike! Over the winter, we'll squeeze out a fourth track from this album bud. I'm still on the fence about the next one. Most likely be Uncle Jack but Smoke the Sky is certainly in contention. Thank you my friend!
This is fantastic Trey, you are a hard rock groove master brother! This is so well played, you could easily fill in for Tommy! The short tempo sensitive fill at 1:15 is particularly stands out, harder than it looks, as well is your blistering kick fill at 3:15! The whole song is filled with drum mastery and I absolutely love watching you kick the crap out of those beautiful DW's brother! Merry Christmas my friend, you totally ROCK!
Jeff, you are one of my favorite drummers. I'm so grateful to know you through this. Mean every word of that. Thank you as always for the kind words and just know, I'm an admirer of YOUR work buddy. Merry Christmas to you my friend!
Yo Andrea! To me, he was at his best about this time. This was just head to toe some damn, damn good rock drumming. And I love that in most of the tunes, there's not really predetermined patterns. Much more feel and just playing to his strengths. Hope it turned out alright. Thank you my friend!
What's up my friend! I so, so appreciate ya being kind enough to check it out and for the kind words. Yes, they are just one of those bands that were influential as could be especially for a young wanna be drummer. And in hindsight, I sure wish this lineup would've produced more material under a different name. Tommy's work on this album to me is brilliant. Just heavy deep pocket work. Again, my sincere thanks!
What up Earl! There's no two ways about it - he was an influence getting started. Part of it was the licks and honestly, the other part was he just made it look cool to an aspiring player. And he put on a great show. I agree my friend - this one has some funky in it. Just a fun rock tune. Thank you my friend!
Hey Sierra! Thank you so, so much. I hope everything is going great for you and yours my friend! As always, I appreciate the support more than you know.
Greatly appreciated and I just went over to your channel. AWESOME upload of 100,000 years! I noticed it had been a bit since you uploaded that so for what it's worth, I loved it and hope you have more to come! I continue to want to do WAY more Kiss songs but I just do not (in any way) play like Peter Criss. And Kiss created tunes that are so much fun to change up from a drumming standpoint. I just tremendously appreciate the support friend.
Great drumming performance! I never got into the 90s version of Motley Crue, but you rejuvenated me to this one! You never disappoint, every video is just killer! If not a drummer, you’d have a great career as a movie director!
What up Rich! I had to play SO damn much Crue in cover bands in the 90's, I got burned on 'em. Occasionally I'll go back and listen to stuff from Shout or Too Fast but not a bunch. Girls was a fun album too. And honestly, I liked Vince Neil's solo album and absolutely plan on covering one of his tracks. I still don't even consider this "Motley Crue". To me, it's as though 3 of 'em grabbed John Corabi and did a separate project. But I really liked this album. Strong stuff.
What up Tom? Dude, that is greatly appreciated. I f'n love those deep DW snares. I'm figuring Tommy's snare on this album was 6.5 on the depth at the most. He gets the most bad ass snare sound on this. It's so damn real but HUGE. Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching Tom. Mean that so damn much dude.
Coming back to get me some more Trey grooves! Great job once again. Hopefully you’re out gigging somewhere that people can absorb that heavy groove. Love it!!
Hell Clint, I'm just grateful and glad you found me in the first place! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Nope dude, at the homestead working on a cover or two for the audience on here - and honestly, I'm grateful folks on here even listen. So THANK YOU! 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘❤💪💯👊
@@TreyBDrums I’m working on recording some stuff as well. I’m a long time player but a newb at home recording. My room isn’t the best..getting some decent sounds but still not up to my expectations yet. I’ll get there though. I have a similar set up, Ludwig classic maple 24/13/16/18 and a black beauty. Paiste cymbals. Hope to get something out there soon. Anyway, you’re an inspiration and helping me to get working on things recording my kit. Hope all is well brother, have a great Christmas!!
Hey Matt! I'm so sorry for the delayed response. Man, couldn't agree with you more - Tommy loaded this one with some incredible fills! Especially that ol' fashioned Over The Mountain style triplet breakdown. He (Tommy Lee) was in pure beast mode on this album man. My sincere thanks for checking it out and the kind words Matt!
Absolutely my friend! This era was some of Tommy's best work to me. And I say that as a dude that loved their hey day as well. I just think he really got into new territory on this album and he did a hell of a job on it. Thank you
What up my friend? Sorry 'bout that. Sometimes I use it but other times I just don't set it up. Don't know if it helps at all but I just listened to the intro fill and the way I did that was (coming out of the hats) a single kick / RL on the snare / RL kick / RLRL snare / RL kick / RLRL snare and out of it with RLR on the kicks and hitting the crashes on that third kick that lines up with the 1. Does that help at all bud? You'll get it and once you do, it's super fun to use all over the kit man!
@@TreyBDrums Awesome I really appreciate the reply and the assistance. It definitely helps since I am self taught and not that great of a drummer but I am in my 50s and just play for fun. I am definitely using your vid for to learn. Thanks again you really helped me out
@@foamrob6577 Self taught as well bud! Give it hell and seriously man, it's a SUPER fun lick. If you cover this or get vid of it on here, gimme a head's up. I'd love to see it man!
Hey Ryan! Thanks so much for being kind enough to check it out. The snare is often the star in the covers.....LOL! And for GOOD reason. DW Collectors 8x14 w/ Broken Glass finish. Standard Maple as best I remember. I still go back and forth for tracking with a number of others (5.5 x 14 / 6.5 x 14 occasionally) but that extra depth - while a pain in the nuts sometimes live since I prefer to sit low - is a bad boy. Got a very wide tuning range but it's got a lot of body. Really, really like that snare and it's still in circulation. Good chance one's on Ebay right now my friend. Thanks!
Very, very much appreciated 🙏🙏. I continue to be grateful folks take to the 94 cuts. It's been a bit since I did those first few. I didn't anticipate much traffic. It's been awesome to read comments from folks who appreciated that album. I still listen to it. I'll always feel like it would have been better if they wouldn't have called it Motley Crue but outside of that, it's a hell of an album with excellent hard rock songs, writing, mix and Tommy is a groove machine on this
Telling you dude, the more time has gone on - the more I have appreciated Mick over and over. I make no secret that I think this album has my favorite version of Tommy but (and not because he retired), it's hit me more and more just how crucial and invaluable Mick is. He is their sound to me. Yes, it comes together with all the rest of them but he is the most distinct part of it. John 5 is an incredible / out of this world talent but they'll have to do some gear work to make his sound like Mick. If he doesn't sound like Mick, I'll be interested how it'll all go over. Appreciate you!!!
Awesome performance, Trey... you are an great musician !!! 😃 Very well played... I love those patterns and fillings !!! 😉👍 Greetings and we keep seeing each other... Merry Christmas !!! 😎🙋🏻♂️🥁🥢 LIKE# 8
M P, I am SO sorry for the delayed response bud. Man - you hit the nail on the head. I'm right there with you on the feeling that was put into this album and the subsequent feeling that came out to me as a listener. It's musically tight. It's lyrically incredible and Tommy and Bob Rock produced one of the sickest drums sounds I've ever heard to this day. Thanks so much for watching and like I said - you and I are in agreement on the passion that it sounds like they put into this album.
GGDC, I'll take it my friend! HAHA!!! Just finished your Staind cover. Telling you dude, I have yanked WAY more than one vid within minutes of uploading. Most of you all have been at this a good ways longer than I have but while I know that was aggravating for ya, made a dude like me feel a bit better about knowing other folks do it too. Thought it sounded great and you did an excellent job my friend
Double-stick-twirl-on-the-floor-toms! love..Love...LOVE the energy you put into your drumming! Tommy Lee is a great influence. FYI - Found you today running through your videos now. LOVING and SUBScribing! Keep up the great work my friend. Would love to run into you playing out some day just to say hi!
What is up Anthony! Well first lemme say I'm so sorry for my delayed response. Second I'll tell ya how insanely stoked I am at these awesome comments bro! Tommy was in rare form to me on this album. He is a grooving machine on every single track. Plus I absolutely loved the way it all vibed with Corabi. I just wish they would have called the project something other than Motley so we might have gotten a few more albums from them. Ya know man, I'm as interested as the next guy as to what the future holds on playing out. I haven't done much of anything since all this started and I'm hopeful my friends are back to work full time by now (or by this summer at the very latest). For real, thank you so much Anthony.

I know im late to comment but great job man i have been a drummer on and off for about 3 years but still have yet to do a cover but anyways this really helps me to know what to do and i keep watching to makrsure i do the song right thanks man have a great day ps the best part is 3:12 i love thats awesome fill and you nailed it
What's happening and nice to meet you my friend! I sure appreciate you being kind enough to watch and comment. Bud, there are a variety of ways to do covers. Some definitely drift toward the creator keeping it close to the original while others leave flexibility to improvise or add your own thing. Straight up, I prefer to improvise but I also have so much respect for some of the songs I cover, there's nothing I'm going to add that needs to be there. I say all that just to tell you do whatever you feel is right my friend. Keep on playing and absolutely drop a comment when you get that first cover done so I can be in your comment section supporting you!
ANOTHER WOW WOW WOW!!!! AWESOME job on this one too!!! You’re clearly very familiar with the “sweet spots” on your kit......plenty of power in your hits but most importantly, in just the right spot to get the sounds you’re getting! 👌🏼👌🏼 This being the first track on the album, I clearly remember how it nearly popped my old teac sound system back in the day 😂 At the moment, I’m living through vids like these, my gear is in storage (has been for a few years now) until the new house is finished (with studio space 🙌🏼) in hopefully 8-9 months🙏🏻 I’ll definitely hit you up then for tips on how and what your using to record. Sounds f’n awesome! Hats to you! 🤘🏼
Steven my friend, I appreciate the hell out of the kind words. So much more than you know. And I'm so terribly sorry for the delayed response. Always feel free to hit me up and I'll be happy for you when you've got your space dude! And I too remember how that track just jumped through the car speakers. I was like "This is Motley Crue?" Just a pure work of art on that album man. Again, my sincere thanks and keep me updated on your progress!
Much, much appreciated my friend! Tommy's work on this album remains some of my favorite hard rock drumming out there. Plus that sound he got, dayummmmm. It's a blast covering the tracks off the 94 album. Appreciate you!
Trey I have been seeing quite a few covers of this lately!! And I have to admit when I came I wasn't listening to them anymore!! But it actually sounds pretty cool!! And your drumming is killer as usual brother!!\m/!! Really rockin!! That fill at 3:12 totally tasty!!
Yo Zax! Really? I haven't looked but I'm really surprised folks are covering this tune (or any of these tunes for that matter...LOL!) I'm gonna have to get up in the search bar and see what they got! That fill is the ol' Over the Mountain rip. Which technically is a Bonham rip. Which technically was taken from...(I'll stop...HAHAHA!!!)
One of my Favorite track from this Album, you always kill it Trey \m/ Would you consider doing "Fight for your rights" last song on Theater of pain you need a Cow bell ;)
Hey Kevin! Sure, consider it considered....LOL! Until you said that, I TOTALLY forgot about that track. That one and Louder than Hell were both cool. You are correct - I'll have to step up my cowbell game when we get around to it. Seems like the cowbell section was really similar to We're Not Gonna take it? (Slower than that though)
@@TreyBDrums Yes I remember that really standing out, That whole album to me is totally overlooked because of the cover and Home sweet Home which were the singles
John, dude that's so kind of you. First and foremost, thank you for checking it out but the kind words mean the world. Dude, whatever I turned into is the result of a host of influences and the big ones are T. Lee, Randy Castillo, Eric Singer, Sean Kinney, Morgan Rose made the hair on my neck stand up - that was a wake up call, Vinnie Paul, Brian Tichy, guys like Will Hunt and Mr. Larkin is certainly in there. He's exactly the kind of player that made me watch. It branches off into dudes like Gene Hoglan, Lars, etc. But the biggies are dudes I don't really emulate. Jeff Porcaro and John Bonham - all about the song. Even if the style is more aggressive, it's still got to sit tight and fit with the song and the act. Not at ALL saying I'm as talented as any of the names I listed but I paid attention to what they were doing. Dude, I'd purposefully buy seats at shows on the side so I could watch the drummer. I'd buy VHS tapes hand over fist at Flea Markets.....LOL! Anything to watch how ppl played as a kid since I didn't have access to a drum teacher for miles. Anyways, sorry for the long answer but it's my way of saying thank you to you and to those players that provided that influence.
Trey B thanks for the response. I started playing with anything that looked like sticks and banging on chairs and whatnot. For many years I could not afford a kit. I just tried to play along with whatever was on the tv or radio. As a kid in the 70’s Peter Criss was a big influence. As I got more interested I started noticing guys like Bonham, Baker, Mitch Mitchell, Moon, Mcbrain, Tommy Lee, Eric Carr, Alex Van Halen, Tommy Aldridge and the like. Later it would be Jonathan Moffet, Omar Hakim, Carter Beauford, Clyde Stubblefield, Billy Cobham and of course the great Buddy Rich, I figured if I enjoy playing metal, it could only make me better. I’m currently into Simon Phillips. The man plays flawlessly with ease and amazing technique gives me goosebumps.
Yo Eric! Thanks for even checking it out dude! On the latest cover, I went ahead and listed everything. I honestly couldn't remember. I had to go in and out of the drum room to see what was what....HAHA! Mix of Sennheiser / Shure / Earthworks mainly. The kick has three sources. I've got the primary one which is a Sennheiser E602, then the outside kick which is a good ol' fashioned Beta 52 but mounted on the inside is the Earthworks. That little sucker smokes. Again, my sincere thanks for checking it out Eric!
What's up Federico! First, thanks so much for being kind enough to watch! So this kit has a 20'0 x 22'0 kick. I had intended to do this with a 24'0 but in hindsight I'm incredibly happy with the smaller kick. Now as for the sound, I'm using a Danmar metal pad, DW metal beaters, I've got the Sennheiser e602 mic along with an Earthworks internal mount. Outside kick has a Shure Beta. But on top of all of that, I still blend in a sampled sound. There's a process through Reaper's gate feature that allows folks to bring in the sample of choice and trigger it. I'm in a small room and I'm certainly no major engineer. Just home recording 101. But to my ears and my ears only, I really like the results I can get when I bring in all of those elements and try to make them work together. The sound is always a work in progress. I really do love trying to learn on that side of things all the time. I appreciate ya watching and I hope you have an awesome weekend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Shame on me to just comment this with an "Awesome" only. Anybody in my book who recognizes this gem is a hero. As my buddy Andy (a drummer btw) rightfully said: "The whole 94 MC Corabi Record should be the sonic blueprint for any Heavy Rock Album."
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had actually forgotten about this one so thank you my friend!!! To me, and I'm emphasizing the use of "me"........this is Mr. Lee's best work. The dude is a monster drummer that hits like a freight train but with all that said, this album was his way of tipping his hat to Bonham and other influences. It's the only album that, to me, stands out so far from everything else. Bob Rock didn't hurt matters but Tommy's playing at this time was on a whole different level. Shout at the devil connected with me as a kid hoping to be a rock star. This entire album connected with me as I'd learned I wanted to be a drummer. Sorry for blabbing and thank you for watching my friend
Yea man I agree with you. This actually became my favorite Motley release over time. To me this was the last good Motley record. I play guitar to Misunderstood off of this one. Great cover sounds dead on \m/ \m/
Much, much appreciate ya being kind enough to check it out friend. Love the '94 album to this day. Tommy laid down some beastly stuff on that. Hope you have a great weekend and again, my sincere thanks for taking the time to watch and comment bud 🤘🤘🤘
WHOA!!! Forgot about this one!!! I need to revisit that album and see if there's another 1 or 2 that I could throw on here. I'd like to redo the ones I did but they seem to get views and keep getting comments so I try not to mess with things of that nature LOL! Have an awesome weekend! Sorry I'm running so behind on my replies friend
@@davidcrook-ip4vp Man, I just don't have an answer. Not dodging in any way but I look at so many angles of what defines beat and I don't know. There's the technical side, the speed side and the feel side. All are hugely respected by me. So whether it's Bonham, Porcaro, Lombardo, Gadd, Vinnie Paul, Morgan Rose,...it's such a list of great players to me. I will say I think Eloy Casagrande is in his own class right now. I sit in amazement at his skill set.
@@TreyBDrums I knew that wouldn't be an easy answer for ya. I really dig Tommy Aldridge, Shannon Larkin and Tommy Lee. I feel Arin llejay is very underrated as a drummer.

That album was and still is my favorite album from those days. Corabi brought so much to the table and added so much dimension to the band. Too bad the record label had to be a bunch of Nancy's.....
Yo Brian! Man, on the one hand - I get it. Without Vince, it's a whole different deal. I don't know if it would've been any different but there is a part of me that wishes they would have named it something else but everything just kinda happened at that time. On the other hand, I wish the label would have gotten behind this more. But for whatever it's worth, a lot of us continue to just appreciate the unique sound they achieved. Good GAWD that drum sound - it's my dream drum sound. Bob Rock and Tommy Lee dialed that shit in. And the songs are so damn good. Have a great weekend bro!
@@TreyBDrums Yeah..... you nailed it right on! To me.... it's kinda like..... when The Beatles split up. Paul didn't call the new band of his "The Beatles." And When Axle went on his own..... he STILL called his band Gun's -n- Roses. WTH? They might have done better goin under a different name? But maybe because they came out in the wake of the grunge movement they decided to go with a name everybody already knows? IDK.... all I know is that this album frickin kicks axx! Especially from Tommy's end. He really brought his voice up with this one I feel.....
Yo Steve! I like it man LOL! You hit on one of my favorite players man and I'm wide open to suggestions. I was actually listening to Godsmack's cover of Rocky Mountain Way but what's your top Larkin tunes? Appreciate the hell out of the comment and for you being kind enough to watch my friend.
Your style screams Shannon Larkin very easy to spot. Suggestions? I was wanting some fake twirls in between high hat and snare. This song has the perfect tempo for that. But you pulled it off like a Beast! My favorite is Straight Out Of Line and I Stand Alone. love how Shannon crosses over to his China with both hands and murders it lol.

@@TreyBDrums you are brother, the talent above all talents that I’ve seen! Your drumming dude is magnificent I try to drum and I do pretty much kind of well but you just out drama me in every aspect, my brother! I am Al do you, my brother, you are exceptional, and then some!
Great job!! Sounds absolutely perfect!
Power metal!!! Yea!!...beautiful drum cover!! Amazing!
Awesome comment!
The movement, the drumming, the soundmix, the video editing ..all is perfect !!! Great work again Trey B
Great tune and awesome cover. Powerful dude!! They didn't play this at any if there concerts I've seen. Love your COVER!! 👍💜🎼🥁🔥🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤘keep rockn🤘
@@TreyBDrums 👍👍👍👍🤘
Yup that's Tommy's style of playing! 🤘🔥
Nailed it! Such solid and powerful drumming!
Greatly (and humbly) appreciated my friend!
OH YES!!! THIS BOY IS GROOVIN' TO PLANET BOOM! Wicked playing Trey! Finally, a great cover of one of the T-Bone's greatest (literal) hits.
Phenomenal performance! Ideal sound!
Much appreciated friend. That KC Fallen Angel vid was bad ass man! Really enjoyed that. Thank you so much for being kind enough to check this out!
Awesome work Trey! Love it!
Appreciate it so much bud! Just finished listening to your Natural Sound and Big Rock Room vids. Man, those are killer!

Great job man. Such a grovy tune!
Meter, Power, Skill, Flash, a great combo.
My friend, that CDB Jitterbug cover w/ the traditional grip is the sh!t! Thank you buddy
Hands down thee best TL drum sound. Well done sir!!!
I am humbled by this comment to say the least. Oh you have no clue how much I would love to have the gear and the ability to get the capture they got on that album. That drum sound is so damn good TSM! So my friend, I simply and sincerely thank you and I mean every word of it bud.
Sounds great Trey. Love your drum sound. Suits the metal sound perfectly.
Appreciate is Dave! Just finished listening / liking Solitary Man! Love me some J Cash my friend. Great job! Thanks for being kind enough to check it out bud
Freaking phenomenal my man! Tommy’s drumming on this album is off the hook and you have nailed it all! Love your style my man!
Such a great song--and great cover man!
Yo Jason! First, thanks so much for checking it out! Second - agreed on the song. That's a HELL of a way to open an album. Got my attention fast. Musically and lyrically, it's a powerhouse. Absolutely love Tommy's drumming from beginning to end on that album. Thanks again my friend!
Once again good sir you have crushed the living hell out of a drum track. So well done, rock on brother!! 🤘
Much appreciated Mike! Over the winter, we'll squeeze out a fourth track from this album bud. I'm still on the fence about the next one. Most likely be Uncle Jack but Smoke the Sky is certainly in contention. Thank you my friend!
Awesome, precise!!!!
AGREE
Jeff, you are one of my favorite drummers. I'm so grateful to know you through this. Mean every word of that. Thank you as always for the kind words and just know, I'm an admirer of YOUR work buddy. Merry Christmas to you my friend!
@@TreyBDrums you da best Trey thanks for the kind words. much respect to you brother!
Awesome and powerful drumming in the Tommy Lee style.. Great performance!
Yo Andrea! To me, he was at his best about this time. This was just head to toe some damn, damn good rock drumming. And I love that in most of the tunes, there's not really predetermined patterns. Much more feel and just playing to his strengths. Hope it turned out alright. Thank you my friend!
Super performance..your drumming style is impressive as always!!👍👍+1
Thank you as always Urhotto! I hope everything is going great for you and yours and absolutely looking forward to your next upload my friend!
Totally badass. I am glad you are a crew cut fan. Same here I am a Motley Crew Fan.
Trey I hear the Tommy Lee influence ... and this was some funky music! Great playing!
What up Earl! There's no two ways about it - he was an influence getting started. Part of it was the licks and honestly, the other part was he just made it look cool to an aspiring player. And he put on a great show. I agree my friend - this one has some funky in it. Just a fun rock tune. Thank you my friend!
Amazing performance bro!
Appreciate it so much Mr. Steve! Merry Christmas to you and yours my friend!
Love it! My fav Motley album.
Mine too Fred! Bro, thanks for being so kind as to even find this. Hope all is well with you and yours. I'm a message away if I can help buddy.

Hey Sierra! Thank you so, so much. I hope everything is going great for you and yours my friend! As always, I appreciate the support more than you know.
That sound and playing, 10/10
I love that snare tone bro!
Killer fills in this one! I learning more about drum technique
Hey Matt! I'm so sorry for the delayed response. Man, couldn't agree with you more - Tommy loaded this one with some incredible fills! Especially that ol' fashioned Over The Mountain style triplet breakdown. He (Tommy Lee) was in pure beast mode on this album man. My sincere thanks for checking it out and the kind words Matt!
perfect job.long live the crue
Absolutely my friend! This era was some of Tommy's best work to me. And I say that as a dude that loved their hey day as well. I just think he really got into new territory on this album and he did a hell of a job on it. Thank you
That was awesome. Wish you had a cam for the kick drums. I'm still having trouble figuring out and playing that intro fill.

KILLER!! sounds great man, you nailed it! ...just curious which DW snare your playing?? someone else mentioned the fill at 3:12...sick!!
Thanks!
That was a great rip , nice job !
Very, very much appreciated 🙏🙏. I continue to be grateful folks take to the 94 cuts. It's been a bit since I did those first few. I didn't anticipate much traffic. It's been awesome to read comments from folks who appreciated that album. I still listen to it. I'll always feel like it would have been better if they wouldn't have called it Motley Crue but outside of that, it's a hell of an album with excellent hard rock songs, writing, mix and Tommy is a groove machine on this
Micks opening and main riff is really insane on this how he does that muffling the string syncopation..
Very well played... I love those patterns and fillings !!! 😉👍

Fucking love this album. So much heart and soul expressed in this album. Best Motley Crue album imo.🤘 Great cover too brother. 10/10
You attack your drums like Rattlesnake attacking it’s victims and it’s beautiful to watch! That early fill at 1:12 got my attention....pure genius!

AWESOME job on this one too!!! You’re clearly very familiar with the “sweet spots” on your kit......plenty of power in your hits but most importantly, in just the right spot to get the sounds you’re getting! 👌🏼👌🏼
This being the first track on the album, I clearly remember how it nearly popped my old teac sound system back in the day 😂
At the moment, I’m living through vids like these, my gear is in storage (has been for a few years now) until the new house is finished (with studio space 🙌🏼) in hopefully 8-9 months🙏🏻
I’ll definitely hit you up then for tips on how and what your using to record. Sounds f’n awesome! Hats to you! 🤘🏼

It matters so much how and where u put the fill tho,TOMMY put it in a cool spot comin outta bridge!!
very clean,,,,Nice dude!!
Greatly appreciated my 94' bro! Oh - your When I See You Smile cover is SICK too!
Oh Yeah! This was really good Trey. Big Tommy sound (pun?) Anyway - great job! Merry Christmas.

Incredible and that's all I can say
3:11 nailed it! 🤘
Great conviction, u play with a lot of passion for the song. Very nice flow, confident yet not cocky. Is there some Shannon Larkin in there?
¡sounds awesome!
Hey Juan! Greatly appreciate it. I still think that album has one of the best drum sounds I've ever heard. Again my friend, a very sincere thank you.
Really awesome drumming and cover Trey! Your kick sounds massive brother and the mix is so huge. What kind of kick mics are you using?
For the love of god, what KD do you use!!! It's insane!!
Awesome.
Yo Doc! My friend, thanks so much for being kind enough to check it out. Really mean that. Hope you have an awesome weekend dude
Shame on me to just comment this with an "Awesome" only. Anybody in my book who recognizes this gem is a hero. As my buddy Andy (a drummer btw) rightfully said: "The whole 94 MC Corabi Record should be the sonic blueprint for any Heavy Rock Album."
Excellent
¡Bravo!
Hey Luis! Thanks so much for checking it out and I'm so sorry for the delayed response my friend

What snare are you using in this?
Motley's best album! the drum recording was incredible. I'm sure you get asked this a lot, but who is the best drummer alive or dead?
The drums even sound better with that face! Dammit boy! Need to look into the camera more give us the stink eye! LoL
😂😂😂😂😂. Face only a mother can stand.... Hahahaha! I'll work on it Rich! Thank you my friend
Best album hey ever did. Check out Love Hates album Lets Rumble its got a similar vibe.
👍😊😎Cool
Well thank you 🤘🤘🤘🙏🙏🙏🙏🔥👊❤✔💓🙌!!!!!
👏👏👏👏🤘
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fucking Awesome 👍🏻
What up! Appreciate ya so much and thank you for checking it out. I still fucking love this album. Tommy plays with such a groove on every track. Plus the sound is insane. Again, my sincere thanks! 🤘🤘🤘
👏👏👏👍😎
🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘. Thanks so much!!
Like a snake leaning over the kit never knowing when he's going to strike. I bet this guy loves Shannon Larkin.
