Dude, not only are you a great drummer yourself, but, the fact that you play the drums, shows how creative these drummers really are! Most people just think it's background noise, but, drummers keep the tempo! They keep the best going! And each drummer is unique! Long story short, I think this entire album is Tommy's best drum work ever!
Hey Alex! Thanks for the comment my friend. There are so many drummers who made their presence felt all while serving the song or songs. And on this album, I agree - it played to all of Tommy's strengths at that time. It's powerful playing with a deep pocket for sure. Thanks buddy!
There aren't a ton of albums I go back to but for whatever reason, this is one I'll revisit every 3-6 months. And I honestly don't think of it as Crue. Can't explain it but to me, it was good (& huge sounding) when I first heard it & I like it today. And I sure appreciate the kind words! The snare takes a minute in editing...LOL! But it's a loud SOB and tuned to crack hard so the OH's and Room mics catch the snap of it.
EXPLODING STICKS 2:20 .....Trey - "everybody calm down, have some dip...I got this." I cna watch you play for hours. Great job man. Wonderful display of your talent - keep breakin stix X
🤣🤣🤣 Yep and that was an early vid on here so if memory serves, those were some really light sticks. Clubs in my general area (ie - anything within 90 miles LOL) are mostly small so there's a constant "TURN DOWN" fight with the sound person or club owner. I kept backing down stick size in hopes that it would help. To this day, I still don't know if it helped at all. But I do know the broke so fast the experiment was short lived 😂😂. Appreciate ya!
Hey Lee! Appreciate it very much. I've got to get to another cut from that album before the year is out. I can listen to that today and it just doesn't have a "dated" sound of any kind. To me, it's just a fantastic rock record. And Mr. Lee grooved his ass off on it. Thanks again buddy!
I bought this album the day it came out in 1994 and upon my first listen of the album, this song completely stood out to me. I knew upon that first listen that this was supposed to be the title track to the album because "Til Death Do Us Part" was supposed to be the title. But this song just always had something about it, every element of it adds so much to it. But the drums, Tommy really showed off on this album, but this song he really went above and beyond. You completely nailed it, awesome job!
Buddy, no way I could've said it any better. He took off on this particular album. And I absolutely love pretty much all of his tracks on Crue 94..... but this one......I don't know. He put SO much feel into it. And he was methodical whether he meant to be or not. That - to me - is one of his best tracks. Thanks so much for the kind words!
Trey B Tommy, Mick and Nikki were really able to show their talent on this album. Anytime anybody tries to tell me that these guys are not talented just all show and no substance, I usher them to this album. You can not deny the power and larger than life tone of this record. I am a huge Crüe fan and was anxiously awaiting the release of this album and was not disappointed in the least. I loved the direction they were going in with “Primal Scream” and I was very happy they continued with that feel. I hate that Nikki pretty much writes this album off as not something he is proud of. But Tommy and Mick both to this day still say it is their favorite Crüe album. You my friend are an amazing drummer, I have watched over a few of your videos and enjoyed every one I have watched. Was pleasantly surprised to see one of my favorite Brother Cane tracks, I’m from Alabama and many fellow musician friends in the Birmingham area and was turned onto them right before that first album was released. Saw them open for Lynyrd Skynyrd in the spring of 93, they were amazing.
I’m 49 years old I have never commented on a UA-cam video before now!!!! Those drums sound amazing! The playing is awesome. Really glad I stumbled across this!
I'm very glad you ran across it and Thank you for the kind words Joe! Comment on here anytime you want my friend. I sure appreciate it and hope I can keep throwing out some tunes ya like buddy.
Mike man, this one may be my favorite track off that whole album just in terms of the song itself. The melody, the lyrics and those damn drums - WOW. My hats off to all of those dudes for this album. Wish we could have got at least one more from that lineup. I sincerely (SINCERELY) thank you Mike. So damn cool of you to watch and comment bro
Fucking incredibly Spot on!!! Plus whipped out the stick when it broke and filled right in the pocket!! Defiantly The motley Drummer fill in of all time!! . I love how he broke out the 94's album .. not many Crue fans digg this album, But if your a true dye hard crue fan you'll appreciate This album for it's great gutiar licks, great bass, and hard hitting drums! Nice work bortha.. I'd give this 100 likes if i could !
Thank you Leonardo! In all honesty - it was a great spot to have it happen. I caught a break (the pun was unintentional...LOL!) I've had many a broken stick derail recorded tracks. Glad it didn't mess w/ this one.
TEMAZOOOOO..MAN !!!!!!...el mejor albun de los MOTLEY CRUE , musicalmente grabado, en toda su historia , lo que toca TOMMY LEE, es increible !!.. FELICITACIONES !! BUEN AUDIO..ONDA ..PRESICION ... FROM ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always loved this album & still do. Always listening to it. I can say this , Trey , you killed this , played to the T's for sure. You have a great style & love watching you rip ! Your one of a kind my friend , keep ripping !
What up dude! Man, that means the world that ya took the time to comment William. I still love this album. It's a great rock and roll record and I guess I just have this thought that if they'd have called it something other than Motley Crue, maybe we could have seen a few other albums. I dunno man. Tommy brought out his inner Bonham on this one. I appreciate you my friend and so sorry for the delayed reply 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
Yo Mark! Man, great to hear! Mark dude I love that album and I'm always torn on my favorite track off of it. This one though, it's always in my top two. I sure wish they had done things where that lineup could have at least done another album. Just not have called it Motley Crue - hell if I know. But I do think it's a great rock record to this day. Hope you got your coding session behind ya my friend!
I love your technique!! Nice hard snare hits. I've been listening to this LP, it's in one of my cassette cases. Still have a cassette player in my van. Awesome kit and playing!!
SO sorry - I missed some comments in this! DMS - Thank you. I loved the album when it came out & I flat out love it today. Just the vibe in general but it really changed how I heard drums. Bob Rock got some of the best sounding drums out of that record. It blew my mind. Just big yet natural. Thank you buddy!
Mike bro, that is incredibly kind of you. Dude - SO sorry for the delayed response. Alerts on these older vids don't always come through my friend. Hope you have an awesome weekend bud!
That's awesome of you to say that bud! To me, this was a massively well written hard rock record. I Lee / Sixx and Mars were in their element and writing the stuff they'd wanted to write for a while. Mick Mars and Tommy Lee definitely had a field day on every track. It's almost a throw back record. Even the single Hooligan's wasn't really a single (to me). The only thing is I just wish they would have named it something else. I really do think we could have seen another album or two from this line up. John Corabi is on 🔥🔥 track after track. Appreciate the support and kind words so much friend!
@@TreyBDrums it's a solid album all the way through!! I agree with you, a different name and more of this solid rock from them would have been awesome!!
Passing by again my friend to listen to this violent Motley song and Your excellent cover !! I do not get tired of listening to the violent and heavy drums !! My favorite Crue song in this album!!
Pass by any time my friend and when you do, please know how grateful I am bud! Oh man, you can hear how heavy Tommy is hitting on this. He just sqeezes everything out of every hit. I've always been stuck between this and Hooligans. I'm tempted to say this one is my favorite just on its vibe but Hooligans also has a vibe that's incredibly unique. (See, I tried to decide on a favorite and again got stuck LOL!!!) Appreciate you!
Nailed it! Editing is on point as well. I always tell new Motley Fans about this super underrated album and they come back blown away how good it is. Awesome job once again! 😎
Man, I do the same thing LOL! And I understand that this isn't for all Crue fans. Some are very much locked into the idea that without Vince, it's just not MC. And honestly - I agree. But at the same time, I'll tell those people to at least appreciate this hard rock album by a band that called themselves Motley Crue for a few years. For me, the drum work on it is my favorite stuff Tommy has done. Greatly appreciate the kind words and hope you have a bad ass weekend my friend!
What up Julien! Appreciate it. I've got to get another one from this album this month. Power To The Music seems to be my personal preference but if you've got another track ya like, feel free to shout it out bud. Have a good one and thank you for your time!
Very cool to see you cover this tune! I recently discovered you doing "Power To The Music". I was stoked to see someone covering these tunes, from IMO one of the greatest hard rock albums, ever. The production is unbelieveable, too. I love your crazy heavy snare sound. Also, I noticed that you have your snare up way higher than I do.. I'm curious to try it. I remember reading something about Neil Peart having done that later in his career, and it was a bit of a game changer for him.(like he needed it :) I also have always dug the look of a flat rack tom, but have always found it more functional (for me) at a bit of an angle. Idk, just interesting observations for me. Would love to see you do more off this album.. "Welcome To The Numb" *wink wink*. My 6 year old son has become a fan, too. Keep 'em coming, Bro!
I intend to watch all your videos. I really like the way you play drums. Not only is the playing better than most every other “unknown” drummer on UA-cam you have a great visual side to your playing. A certain star quality. (Don’t mean to sound cheesy” you fit in very nicely with my favorite style of drummers. Tommy lee, Brian Tichy, Shannon Larkin to name a few. Drummers that even when they are not trying visually grab your attention. I’m babbling on at this point but I’m sure you already know that you have the complete package as far world class rock n roll drummers are concerned. Hey maybe you could make a video playing troubled wine by pride n glory!!!
Dude, you named a bunch of drummers I flat out love. Tommy for sure, Brian, Shannon...guys like Will Hunt and going back to Randy Castillo....they've all made a serious impact on the way I hear & view playing. And you're damn straight - Pride & Glory is a GREAT idea! That got added to the "in the future" folder as soon as I read your comment buddy. Bottom of my heart - thank you!!!
@@joestallins6429 HAHAHAHA!!!! I had to save to buy DW stuff (used) for years so I figured it deserves it just for that...LOL! Curious - what do ya play bud?
This one always sneaks back to the top spot for me on that album. I go back and forth with that and Hooligans but this has such a unique vibe to it. Lyrically it's some powerful stuff and Tommy's playing on it is loaded with emotion. Every single hit has a purpose. This was the point in his career where he connected with me as a young drummer in a major way. He was a grooving, hard hitting monster. Appreciate you so much Mike!!!!
What up bud? First, thanks so damn much for being kind enough to watch. Second, I greatly appreciate the kind words. Man that song may be my favorite off that album but I go back and forth with favorites LOL! Tommy laid down an incredible pocket but all of the cymbal placement, the feel of it and the vibe of that tune are all incredible to me. I just tried to stay in the ballpark. Again, my sincere thanks and I hope you have an awesome weekend!
@@TreyBDrums That album is incredible, Tommy's way of playing and how that drums sounded was incredible and seeing how you play those songs I remembered those days when I listened to that CD at home, you are an excellent drummer, because those songs are not not easy to touch, congratulations., and again this is AMAZING!!! :)
What can I say about that???? It had a grind to it that makes drumming hard for groove and feel. This drum track wasn't lacking either. The groove, feel and timing was fucking impeccable!!!!! Im blown away.
Yo Marcus! This album is one that I love more or less head to toe. But from a drumming standpoint, this one and Hooligans are at the top and it's total personal preference. Tommy squeezed both tunes for every single thing they had in them. And he played them both with such over the top feel. To me, it was his way of paying homage to Bonham and the guys that influenced him. With that said, I seriously cannot thank you enough for your incredible support bro.
People think that Tommy sucks. Then I refer them to this cover. Tommy was a beast on it!!! And much love to Mick on his wizardry to this album. Met Crabby this past summer. True genuine sweet guy. 😊
It took me a while to find a video that I had not already left a comment on. This video is from April 2019…it has a nice vibe to it. You broke a stick and never even missed a beat. Another great video from the Trey B catalogue. ☮💟💜
I had to remember and on this one - that stick straight demolished LOL!! Charlene, this particular tune is SO good. Love it lyrically, musically, the whole 9 yards. And the drumming from Tommy on this is outstanding. I so, so greatly appreciate you and terribly sorry I'm running behind on my replies
@@TreyBDrums you don’t need to apologize I know you have a full-time job. I am retired and have nothing better to do than watch a whole bunch of music on UA-cam and on Twitch. Of course my house work is suffering but I really don’t give a shit lol! Besides if you remember I suffer from depression, don’t take any medication for it, but music helps 100%.
Yo Mike! He's been an influence matter which way I slice it LOL! But this era of his playing is some of my favorite tracks. This album for whatever reason just stuck with me. The songs were different and he had this huge sound. Anyways man, I appreciate the hell out of you being kind enough to watch bro. As always, I can't wait to see what you've got next. You are an absolute monster Mike
Wow wow wow!!!!! Played it amazingly and your sound/mix is spot on!! This album had me hook, line and sinker the day it came out, and still does to this very day. It’s not too often these days i can put an album on and just let it play from start to finish.....AND....be smiling/bopping my head,/tapping along/singing etc etc the entire way through! Over here in Australia it’s basically an album that went unheard....but within a small group of my friends and family (predominantly musos) it’s still considered top shelf stuff! Thank you for putting the work in to do the vid! Very much appreciated! Can I ask what sizes you’re using around your kit?
Dude, thanks so damn much for the kind words and for even checking it out! Steven, it's almost criminal that album has so little recognition in the overall scheme of things. I'm with you - I love it top to bottom. This one though, it was a massive stand out to me bro. Tommy squeezed every drop out of it groove wise. Just art man. On the sizes - my pleasure! 12x10 rack, square floors 14x14 and 16x16. Snare is a 14x8 and the kick ended up 22x20. I wanted that to be square as well but didn't want to shell out the extra bucks. Had to look but on this particular tune, looks like I went with the Audix D4 on the high tom and the Sennheiser 421's on the floors. Thanks so much and I hope there's other stuff on here that ya like friend!
Yo Mike! That little SOB disintegrated 🤣🤣🤣. But - it came in a great spot. Song naturally breathes there so unlike a BUNCH of others I've had to stop and start over, this one (luckily) could keep on truckin'. Man, it's so good to see a comment or two on this one. While I'd like to reshoot the video to this cover, I really enjoyed doing this particular tune. I always go back and forth with whether that track is my favorite on that album. I f'n LOVE that song dude. Hope you have a great weekend! 🤘🤘🤘
That sum bitch just evaporated on me Rich! LOL! Oh man, I hate it when that happens when ya know you've got a take going. It's crazy how live - you break a stick, doesn't affect anything. But on here, it can wreck a damn take. Appreciate you bud! Sorry for the delayed response Richard.
Three things - when that stick exploded and you just casually grabbed another without missing anything was amazing. The way you have your toms set up, did you march drum corps? Real similar to a quad set up. Last, it is great to see someone else play with some genuine intensity like you do.
One of the most sincere comments I've read in some time. Mean that bud. The stick thing........I had to watch to see what happened because I had honestly forgotten. Trying to make that stop just have a big "POP" and body to it, it appears I went after the floor but those sticks get chewed up and get ready to go. That was a good place for it to happen LOL! ON the set up, no marching band. I wanted to do that but I really didn't even start until around 16 and I was self taught head to toe. Went into try it but the rudiment book felt like a new world to me. Had to go at that book after I was playing for a living. Set up is more based on drummers I just enjoyed. The intensity........that's something I sure, sure appreciate. I always try to remember it's the one thing I can control. Just effort. So it means the world to me that it came through as you watched 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Very cool. You are one of the hardest hitting drummers I have ever seen, how many kits have you beaten to death during your career, and which one stood up the best.
You've been so, so kind since I've been on here dude. I thank you - so very much - for even checking it out let alone sharing and doing the things you do. On kits - not playing favorites - the DW gold sparkle has performed incredibly well & I got it used so getting dings on it didn't sting as bad (it's got PLENTY now!). I also had a Tama kit before I could trade my way up to DW and honestly, it did great. Sounded damn good too. I don't know how Morgan Rose's kit makes it through two weeks. Insanely hard hitter with brick like sticks. Tommy Clufetos is a brute. Jason Hartless is a total package dude - tons of finesse but loaded with power. Thanks again Richard!
Most of these new drummer I see nowadays just hit the drums. You actually play through them! NICE! Your style is very similar to Tommy's...... very cool! (y)
Brian dude, I can't tell you how damn much I appreciate that because if that aspect comes through, I'm beyond happy. I've never ever thought I was anything special but I want the song to come first. And in the process, the drums have to become an extension of the drummer's heart, their personality, their frustration, their joy, etc. And that shit is tribal. It really is. I just so greatly appreciate the comment my friend!
As I told DMS above, I missed some comments Sierra. First and foremost, thank you so very much. Means the world. Second, I just checked out your Chris Cornell cover. Great work!
Tony, my sincere apologies for missing this comment my friend. Thank you so, so very much for checking it out. LOVING some of the covers I just watched on your channel dude!
Hey Peter!!! Bro, thanks so much for the kind words and thanks for watching. This one and Hooligans are a tie for my fav off that album. Love Tommy's drumming on about every song
Many, many thanks for just being kind enough to check it out my friend. It's been great to see comments coming in on this one with some regularity here lately. It's a great track off that album and it was an absolute blast to try and cover. Appreciate you and have a great weekend!
Hey Freddy! So sorry I missed this - LOVE the covers on your channel! Just finished Starry eyes - that was KILLER! Going back for more now. Thanks so much my friend. Hope there's some other stuff on here you dig buddy
I'll get to Uncle Jack at some point for sure Marcello! It's currently a toss up between Power To The Music and Hammered. Probably do PTTM next just because I'm a tad bit more familiar with it beginning to end. Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out!
Yo my friend! Good eye - yep, Z custom on the bottom. The top is actually an old 18 inch A custom I sent to Bakersfield Modded Cymbals. I sent them a pile of broken cymbals and that one was cut down to a 14. Dude, I LOVED the way it interacted with the Z. It had this amazing sizzle to it. I use the word "had" because about 3 weeks ago, I broke it too. I was so damn bummed man. I saw the crack happening and got out a few more covers before a chunk came flying off. I'm hoping to send Bakersfield a few more cymbals and I'm going to ask them to please try that again. Appreciate it man!
I am so sorry - trying to catch up on missed replies here and there. First - thank you for watching. Couldn't mean that more. On the verb for this track, had to look but it appears I'm using a VST called Verbiage. LOVE it. Snare is (without question) a blend of real and sample and the sample in this was my attempt to capture Tommy's snare around that time through XTrax Stems which isolated the drums and gave me 2-3 or clean isolated hits to work off of. Again, thank you for watching and so sorry for the delayed reply friend.
The one and only gripe I had with it is I think Tommy made a little more of a statement by hitting the drums harder, besides that imcredible cover,AWESOME!!
Yep dude, what's funny is I have the same thought. From a mixing standpoint, I've got a small ass room. I've since learned a bit more in terms of how to tone down crazy cymbal volume & bleed so I can hit much more like I would prefer (which is the point! HAHA!!!) but still, it kills me not to be going full throttle on a number of covers man. At this point in his career, he was a HARD ass hitter...but I mean it, it bugs me too LOL! Appreciate ya my friend!
Thanks so much for checking it out! Definitely got to get another one off this album going this month. Hope there's some other stuff on here you like my friend. Again, sincerely - thank you!
Changed the game for me dude. For real. Changed how I approached rock drumming and it has the PERFECT rock drum sound. Tommy was grooving harder than he'd ever grooved. Whole album is loaded with so much pocket, so much feel and such great song writing. And the drums fit every song perfectly.
@@TreyBDrums I gotta agree , I was a huge crue fan and when I heard Vince was being replaced I admit I was scepticle. But once I heard Corabi , and that heavy sound , and that thick beat, and got a chance to read all the lyrics, I was like Holy Shit , these guys are on to someting.
HAHAHA! Man, I'm wearing you out because I'm looking at the videos you've been kind enough to comment on are ones that I just appreciate you checking out my friend!
Holy Shit man what a perfect cover and this is bye far Crues best record and Im a crue fan from 83 but god damn did Tommy and Mick bring their ABSOLUTELY best shit out for this one, woulda been so awesome had this record done better, shoulda changed the name of the band, like Creed did with alter bridge cuz this is pretty much my favorite album,PERIOD burns all the way through and just nasty drumning bud!!
What up Ray! Dude, thank you so much for checking it out! Couldn't agree more - the band as a whole brought their fucking A game on this album. This track is my favorite off the 94 record. For some reason on this one, the drums are so INSANELY well placed. Everything Tommy did on this served the song and DAMN......I just think it's some of his best work. Again, my sincere thanks for being kind enough to check it out and hopefully I'll get another track off this album in the next month or so. I try to be very respectful to the tracks from this album my friend. I appreciate the drumming way, way too much not to, LOL! Appreciate ya Ray!
What up bud! Good eye! It was either a 17 or 18 A Custom (medium) that was cracked. I use a company called Bakersfield Modded Cymbals. Highly recommend them. I'll pile up 5-10 crashes and ship 'em off to Lee. On that one, he sent it back and we were thinking a small stack. But it was in the 14' range so I put it over a 13' Z bottom and been using it that way since. It still gets plenty of swish but it seems to have some meat to it as well. But if you've got some broken cymbals around and don't have a way of cutting them, I really think Lee and Bakersfield Mod do a great job at a fair price. If I didn't answer everything or you've got other questions on it, just hit me up again bud. Thanks so much!
@@cursedgeorge939 They're in Bakersfield California and that could make it messy in terms of shipping. I wanna say each cymbal repair is around 50 bucks or so but the buyer handles shipping to and from. Hang tight - when I get home, let me look and see if I happen to have made contact w any similar dealers in the UK. Thanks bud!
Marcelo my friend, I cannot thank you enough for the multiple supportive comments. Made my day. This and Hooligans are my two favs from that album even though I love the whole thing. I'm so glad and so grateful you took the time to check out various vids on here man. Have a great weekend bro!
What's up my friend? Well..........I sure appreciate it. Doing covers on here, the stick break can / will / has derailed a LOT of stuff. Got lucky that one landed in a spot with some open space right behind it. (I really tried to smash that floor LOL!!!!)
🤣🤣🤣. Well, that comment has made my damn day and it's early! I never thought about it but I do (rather literally) lock myself in a windowless room...LOL! Dude, just thank you for watching, the comment and I hope ya have a great weekend!
Hey Matt! Dude, thanks so much for even asking. Anymore, nah. I'm happy to help out friends here and there but day job more or less takes precedent. Spent many, many years though where drums were it. No big names or anything. Just cover bands, tribute bands, original bands, etc. Hell I used to love weddings 'cause you'd get great pay and food LOL! Thanks my friend and sorry for the long answer.
Getting those hard hat accents is like sawing on a stick dude. I should've known it was coming. I saw it fly off to my right but that's a good spot to have one break! At least both of 'em didn't go. It REALLY sucks when that happens.
Yo Bobby! Man, to me I still don't even hear this as Motley Crue. It's an almost lightning in a bottle line up that churned out a massively good hard rock record. And I thought Vince's solo album was damn good so too. Maybe one of the last good hard rock party type albums. But in all seriousness, I thought (think) this line up really accentuated one another musically. And drum wise, it's my favorite album Tommy has done. Plus that sound that got..........😲😲😲. Appreciate ya bro!

YES DUDE JUST AS REQUESTED!! Awesome play through and keep the Crue covers from this album coming!
Will do my best Curtis! Gonna switch it up for a bit then I'll circle back to another one! Thanks so much!
@@TreyBDrums Of course man! Also do you have multiple DW kits? Would love to see a studio tour if possible
Fantastic drumming Trey... with a broken stick??? you kidding me??? OMG!!! 👏👏👏
Muy apreciado mi querido amigo. Es mi álbum favorito de Motley Crue también. ¡Muchas gracias por mirar!
I have UA-cam playing while I'm coding and HAD to stop and watch this as it sounded so awesome.
What an awesome drum cover - well done!
Now that's how it's done! Fantastic work Sir! Brilliant!
I love playing drums to this song and you play with excellence
Mike bro, that is incredibly kind of you. Dude - SO sorry for the delayed response. Alerts on these older vids don't always come through my friend. Hope you have an awesome weekend bud!
Damn that snare sounds sick!!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Your videos have made me really dig this album more than ever, possibly one of crue's best!
Trey man I love your set up there in your room I would love to be there to do a drum cover I like how your cameras go back and forth awesome work man
🙏🙏🙏🙏 Mike my dude, I can't tell you how much I appreciate ya. Happy Turkey day buddy 🦃🦃🍗🍗🍗
Yes yes yes Trey this is a killer song man I'm glad seeing you do it so I can do it.. Rawk!On Brother
Mike, that one is still quite possibly my fav on that album. The vibe of the song is the shit but the drums are perfection 💪💪❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
Snappy, precise, and belligerant!
Awesome job bro !!! Very nice !!!
Great drumming Trey👌🥁🔥awesome cover 👍👍👌
Thank you so very much Lindsay! I do love this tune my friend.
You ever get tired of killing that poor defenseless snare drum I would gladly get it out of your way!!!
@@joestallins6429 HAHAHAHA!!!! I had to save to buy DW stuff (used) for years so I figured it deserves it just for that...LOL! Curious - what do ya play bud?
That's killer man I listen to that song a lot Trey! u badass
Trey have you ever played hammered that Motley Crue I've been working on it I don't know you've done it or not
HEAVY DRUMS!!! Amazing Playing!! Man!!
Killed it! Nice job!
Thank you very much Jason! Super fun track to play. Love that album.
Solid AF my brother! Love this album. You got that Tommy groove down. Serious
I like that drumstick recovery Kick-Ass
Kickass man nice save on the stick!
Trey Trey! Love it again brother! Now I know why you I see you at the gym all the time. Keeping them arms in shape!
HAHA!!! My legs are the size of your damn arms dude! You got swole
Awesome drumming sounds great.Subscribed to your channel 👍
As I told DMS above, I missed some comments Sierra. First and foremost, thank you so very much. Means the world. Second, I just checked out your Chris Cornell cover. Great work!

Trey B your welcome thank you for checking out Chris Cornell. I do a lot of my drumming to his music. Have a great weekend

Great Job! 🔥
Many, many thanks for just being kind enough to check it out my friend. It's been great to see comments coming in on this one with some regularity here lately. It's a great track off that album and it was an absolute blast to try and cover. Appreciate you and have a great weekend!
Terrific heavy drumming Trey! Sound is dope too! Good job! Will subscribe! #82

Hey Freddy! So sorry I missed this - LOVE the covers on your channel! Just finished Starry eyes - that was KILLER! Going back for more now. Thanks so much my friend. Hope there's some other stuff on here you dig buddy
What a blast! AWESOME DRUMMING. Next one "uncle jack" maybe? ;)
I'll get to Uncle Jack at some point for sure Marcello! It's currently a toss up between Power To The Music and Hammered. Probably do PTTM next just because I'm a tad bit more familiar with it beginning to end. Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out!
@@TreyBDrums for me, you can cover the whole album😉. Your drumming it's inspiring!
Fantastic work Trey!!! tell me more abouts U'r hats its a a Z custom and What @ the top?
@@TreyBDrums whata great combo.... you make there... hope you get a nice super Bell from that A custom.....it will be awsome ...regards
Amazing, what snare drum reverb are you using? Sounds amazing!
WOW awesome.
Love that album and that tune so thank YOU so much for checking it out Rogelio! To me, it's Tommy's best work. Appreciate you and I mean that - 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@TreyBDrums Trey i love that album too, very much, one of my favorite Motley albums, and i agree , it is Tommy´s best work.

Thanks so much for checking it out! Definitely got to get another one off this album going this month. Hope there's some other stuff on here you like my friend. Again, sincerely - thank you!
Motley "94" one of the best albums ever
Changed the game for me dude. For real. Changed how I approached rock drumming and it has the PERFECT rock drum sound. Tommy was grooving harder than he'd ever grooved. Whole album is loaded with so much pocket, so much feel and such great song writing. And the drums fit every song perfectly.
@@TreyBDrums
I gotta agree , I was a huge crue fan and when I heard Vince was being replaced I admit I was scepticle.
But once I heard Corabi , and that heavy sound , and that thick beat, and got a chance to read all the lyrics, I was like Holy Shit , these guys are on to someting.
It´s official. I am binging your videos. lol
HAHAHA! Man, I'm wearing you out because I'm looking at the videos you've been kind enough to comment on are ones that I just appreciate you checking out my friend!
One of these days we got to do another.. good stuff... Skully if ya don't know... lol
You think I don't know it's you? LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely homie!

So sorry for the delay Marc! Thank you for the comment and being kind enough to check it out my friend!
hell yeah!!
Thank you SO so very much for checking it out! 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘 It very well may be my fav from their 94 album.
Tommy did FABULOUS work on this track
Dude, I’ve gotta know the story behind that hi-hat top. Was it a crash that cracked? If so, what kind was it?
Trey B Just realised, where are they based? Just because I’m UK based and I don’t know if that will complicate things.
Thanks bud!

What's up my friend? Well..........I sure appreciate it. Doing covers on here, the stick break can / will / has derailed a LOT of stuff. Got lucky that one landed in a spot with some open space right behind it. (I really tried to smash that floor LOL!!!!)

Do you play professionally in a band?
Hey Matt! Dude, thanks so much for even asking. Anymore, nah. I'm happy to help out friends here and there but day job more or less takes precedent. Spent many, many years though where drums were it. Ha! broke a stick and never missed a beat!
Getting those hard hat accents is like sawing on a stick dude. I should've known it was coming. I saw it fly off to my right but that's a good spot to have one break! At least both of 'em didn't go. It REALLY sucks when that happens.
The sign of a seasoned musician. Coolness level up!
Very nice. Motley was better without Vince
@@TreyBDrums I do agree. This album wasn’t Motley. Which makes me like it even more.
The is song rips
