Just experimenting with a variation of the hemispheres firmware with an applet called the Harmonizer. I created a sequence on the Mother 32 and am sending the keyboard CV to Harmonizer. Harmonizer outputs different CV values based off a user-selected scale. One of the outputs goes into the v/oct input of Plaits to create a harmony with the Mother 32.

Oh my; that's beautiful my friend 😍
Thanks for checking it out, Probbie!
I get excited when I see something new pop up from you ❣ Beautiful! Thank you!
Hey, Thanks for commenting! I really appreciate the kind words and I'm glad you enjoy the music.
Breathtakingly beautiful very hypnotic thank you for sharing my friend
Thanks for listening!
I enjoy it ❤ Still can't convince myself to get into Eurorack but I tried AE modular...
Haha, you will come over to the dark side sooner or later!
Hey man this was great. Thanks for sharing. If you wouldn't mind i have a question for you. I'm looking to begin expanding my mother 32 with some other modules and was wondering what you thought would be the most crucial 1 or 2 types of modules to get intitally? The end goal would be to create 4x4 minimal house/techno stuff but for now my priority is learning modular synthesis along the journey to reaching that kind of setup.
Thanks Harry! This is always a hard question to answer because modular synths are so subjective. If you're looking to get into 4x4 minimal house, you might want to consider the DFAM as it pairs so well with the mother 32 and you can even buy a 2-tier (or 3-tier) rack for it. It comes with its own power and would allow you to continue learning about patching. When you do end up getting a eurorack case to expand further you can still connect your mother 32 and DFAM to your modules as well. In terms of what modules would fit well for minimal/techno, I'd suggest you ask the very kind and knowledgeable folks over at modulargrid.net. Oh, and another piece of advice is take your time. DOn't rush and buy everything all at once (even if you can afford it). Allow yourself to learn about each module you buy and then as you become more knowledgeable, you'll find yourself going "I could really use a clock source... or a mult, or another VCO....". Oh, and buy a bigger case than you think you'll need. :) Hope that helps!
Was that an 8 or 16 bit jrpg?
Haha, Plaits was sounding pretty close to your basic square wave - paired with a 3rds, 4ths, and 5th's for harmony, yeah it gets pretty close to how a classic JRPG would sound eh?
great patch! I think it's time for me to explore the Hemisphere firmware
Thanks! I've actually never used the OG firmware so hemispheres / branches of hemispheres is all I know. I'll have to try the original at some point too.
Stunning as usual
Thanks James, I appreciate it!
super beautiful !! Very nice setup!!
Thanks for the kind words!
This is awesome! I'll have to look at that app for Benispheres!
Thanks Beni! It's such a fun little applet. It would be amazing to have it included in Benispheres. For now, I've got both hex files saved in a folder on my desktop so I can switch between this one and yours.
Beautiful. Really love this. Will listen again.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
