I'm pretty sure this is a "parallel" water cooling setup. One fitting on the top of the CPU is splitting the cold water flow to the CPU and GPU, and the other is recombining their "exhaust" flows, so I don't think the CPU is feeling that hot output water from the GPU.

If you put your budget on the main components instead of cooling system, you'll get more performance.

The 2 pipes take on the role of unloading the GPU. Will there be problems later? I think there should be a small shelf to support the GPU.
