It's really strange how Americans who always say they are the best in the World, that their Country is over the other, can't understand what patriotism is and that sharing your victory is more important that the Victory. . 🧐🤔

Nowitzki crying tears when he qualified for Olympics 2008 in the qualifying tournament. Just to be able to play in the Olympics (lost vs China and get out in the group stage) and being the flag bearer meant nearly as much to him as winning the NBA trophy. He said to Dennis Schröder to play at the Olympics and be the flag bearer change his life forever

Actually its the energy that Serbians have, USA can't compare the energy and passion of Serbia, never. That energy is contagious and also, this was represeting a country, NBA is small scale, its teams competing and even the celebrations aren't as crazy - Nuggets homecoming as a team and the energy in that bus with Serbians, they even have a song for their coach...any team in USA with such passion? Anyone? Anybody? Even the arrivals/party for gold medals won't be as lit, the energy ain't there😂😂😂

I don’t understand why people from the US don’t understand how it is always more important to represent your country than a club, representing your country is the highest honor. And I think it is sad the only way the would understand it is for the military :/

Probably because they think of an NBA title as being harder to win.

Olympic medal means way more for small countries because they have mich tougher job winning it. Team USA is pretty much Super Team every Olympics....sour taste being just tad behind to win that gold medal.

The difference is MVP he won individually and Bronze he won for his country. We Serbs have (more) collective consciousness while American have (more) individual/personal consciousness. Just look at USA Serbia game...national anthem play...all Serbians huged and all of them singing while USA guys are standing... hands in pocket... none of them sang the song. He won bronze for his family...for his friends for his people ...and me...not for himself...of course he will be happier then winning MVP. Americans will never understand this.

He didn't care about winning any off the MVP. That's not what he plays for. Thought it was great and that is the time to drink if you ever are. Nice he was able to let loose. He was a bigger MVP then Lebron, thats for sure. Don't have to win to win that award in real sports.

Bro do you not understand what you saw this Olympics? Jokic damn near beat that US superteam. Do you really think a player who is having one of the best peaks of basketball can't get another ring? I think he has one or two more in him.

@resurrectedpa Jokic scored 17 pts and shot sub 50% in the semifinals. Let's not act like he was vintage Jordan or Steph Curry or something. He went 0-6 from 3. He was lucky his shooting guards punched up like they were All Stars and shot 10-21 from three. Once the US got serious on defense, his efficacy dropped in the second half. The US beat Serbia 3 times in the Olympics. Once in the practice, once in group, and once in the semifinals. The other 2 games weren't close. Maybe if they play 10 times, Serbia wins 1 game, thats a big maybe because the more that US team played together, the better they would get.
