I've had nothing but problems with this camera. I bought one in April and within a fortnight I couldn't download video files as they were corrupted. I emailed the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement, but now the pause/stop recording button doesn't work, meaning that I have to shut it down or go into settings and have it stop recording when I open another function. When it works its a pretty good camera, but it is plagued with software issues that the maker is aware of and has done nothing to remedy.
I'm really struggling to find an alternative to a go pro to buy and this video provides a good review but I've seen a couple of these comments now about this camera and its put me off. Any advice on what camera I should go for?

i swear nobody reviewing this camera is recording it with the high quality setting. the image should be optimized for the review to show people what the camera can truly do otherwise the camera review is virtually worthless.
This action camera review leaves a lot to be desired. (1) You should have learned how the camera works ahead of time before you made the video. It's not instructive watching you fumble around. (2) You could have taken several sample videos and photos ahead of time and later showed us the best ones. The first video taken in the car is simply rubbish. (3) Slow motion video of a tabletop? What were you thinking? With a bit of advanced planning, you could have a good video review. *** The only good part was seeing the world from the viewpoint of the baby.

Thats a shame. Hopefully even though this video has low views (not seen much) they see this comment and react.
