hi ma'm. first of all, you are doing an amazing selfless service by making these videos. i salute you and admire your work. it is immensely useful.
In the cumulative causation model, are the BACKWASH and SPREAD effects connected?
Are regions A and B in spatial proximity? does backwash in area B imply it goes to area A?
Also, does spread effect from region A imply that it results in growth of surrounding regions(area B)?
Did myrdal say that spread effect would result in reduction of regional imbalance?
PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO comparing myrdals cumulative causation,hirschmann's unbalanced growth and friedman's core periphery model in context of regional imbalance for IAS optional mains.
I read that hirschmann was more optimistic in his approach while myrdal was not so.
please explain, thank you.
