Join WKU-PBS host Barbara Deeb as she converses with the legendary musician. Scruggs will share details of his new memoir, his home state, faith, family, and music. I saw Ricky live and Bill Monroe when I was about 18 at an out door bluegrass festival in NE WISCONSIN!! I am now 56!! best party EVER!! and many other artists WAS SO FUN...best memory of my LIFE!!!!

Oh oh my God I love this interview with Ricky Skaggs thank you so much for honoring this incredible musician he has touched so many lives I knew his friend Larry cordle and we played music at Morehead State University in the hot Lucy band and I got to know his friend Keith Whitley Keith for some reason wanted me to be in his band pencil lead guitar player but my father had heart trouble so I turned it down but he always spoke of Ricky Skaggs and it's been an amazing ride watching Ricky and his musical career blossom into this amazing national treasure I just thank God for Ricky Skaggs

Thank you Bill Monroe if you hadn't let little Ricky Skaggs sing at your concert we would not be blessed if his music today and not to forget thank God too because God used Monroe as a vessel to get Ricky Skaggs to where he is today

Oh my God I immensely enjoyed this interview I was friends with his friend Keith Whitley down in the the nearest town Morehead KY.
and we shared a mutual respect for Ricky and I'm so glad that Ricky is getting the accolades and the honor he deserves therefore Andrew Keith has gone on to his reward in I wish he could be around just to see how it all turned out I'm sure Keith would have been amazing and being a household name

Ricky Skaggs is my hero and will always be my hero because he sings my Dad's kind of music called Bluegrass.And this year it will be 30 something years or more. But I still miss him until this day.......But With Ricky Skaggs Corine Alice Rose Mattinen
