Has anyone else noticed how some of these people treat trans/queer people like they are children? Defending them and their erratic behavior as if it’s acceptable because of how they identify. Very bizarre to let a grown man act like that and make excuses.

Under normal circumstances, there's a bit of a need to treat them like magical elves, being synonymous with kindness, light etc. And there can be an overcompensatory impulse ("stunning", "brave" etc). When trying to win acceptance, there was maybe a political impetus involved. So being aggressively non threatening and jocular was a way to program people, while keeping things PG. I though it was implicit to 'Straight Eye'. Otherwise, you'd have the threat of the dude being presented to his wife and being met with a critical gaze and "I'm leaving you." It seems like magical minority territory. When you have drag queen story hour or drag queen bingo, my question was "does that automatically elevate the experience?".

}}} _Has anyone else noticed how some of these people treat trans/queer people like they are children?_
Actually, it's all self-described liberals, these days. They have the mentality of 3yos -- seriously, once you start looking at their behavior in this light, it makes far far more "sense" The whole "if I can't see it it doesn't exist" crap (e.g., pollution from "sustainable green energy"), the entirely emotional right now right now right now responses to everything... it's like dealing with a 3yo who has no real time binding capacity.

@@originaljunglist93 yeah shows like this are how they brainwashed women into wanting a gay bff. Even more so, it causes them to be triggered by masculinity. They think they want a man who isn’t traditionally masculine after consuming crap like this and makeup YT channels, but if they was to get someone like that, they would end up resenting him subconsciously bc at the end of the day, we are biologically programmed to function within traditional gender roles.
It’s a real mind f**k. The human brain innately isn’t designed to consume media on screens. The effect it has is the elephant in the room no one wants to talk about bc everyone is addicted to it.

As a lesbian who’s older I have begun to notice that the people in the “gay movement” who have always been the obnoxious and loud ones who must always make themselves out to be victims have started to come out as trans over the last five to eight or so years.
Who’s the loudest one on Queer Eye? Jonathon. Who’s the self identified trans person on Queer Eye? Jonathon. The other cast members all identify as gay (cis) men
I thought he was just a flamboyant gay man when I watched the first season, but he’s since come out as trans and does not identify as a cis male. Of course I’m not saying all trans people are this way, but it’s problematic for the gay community when trans people call themselves gay, act the way they do, but then turn out to be trans all along.

I have found no real difference between gay couples or straight couples in terms of backstabbing. In fact, the worst people at backstabbing are western, straight women. They'll throw a fake rape accusation out there quicker than a gay dude could even get it up.
I have also heard equally horrific stories from straight woman about dudes as I have gay dudes about dudes and turns out that your sexual preference has little to nothing to do with the kind of person you are.
It doesn't automatically make you good, it doesn't automatically make you bad.
I believe that anybody who uses anything in a deviant way, you should be in prison, so I'm not defending gays.

      - the most likely to shame another woman for their appearance
      - most likely to fat shame a man
      - most likely to throw out a fake grape accusation
      - the biggest driving factor towards boys becoming bad men
      - the most likely to call the police about something that never happened but also then the police showed up and help them because they are a woman
Let's be real straight, woman in the West are the most pandered and looked after segment of society that we have.
If you include those that have blonde hair?
Then you are basically a shoe in for being protected your entire life so really it's hard to say that gay people are more backstabbing than straight woman😂 women are so likely to backstab each other that you guys learn it like 6 years old how awful other girls are.

In every production I’d ever been involved with, there was at least one person, a director, stage manager, lead actor or someone else with petty power, who would exercise that power in a mean-spirited explosive way. The behavior was absolutely endemic. I decided that, although I liked the theater as an art form, I loathed theater people, so I quit and never became involved again. It got to the point where two girls were fighting over the main female role in _The Music Man_ , both for the spotlight and because they were fighting IRL over the boy playing the lead. The directors - overindulgent moms living vicariously through their kids - decided that the girls would alternate playing that role for every performance. I was so grateful to have left that environment. Now I wonder if I'll allow my future kids to be in plays, for fear they'll turn into divas.
