- Chasing the beautiful 4-6-4 steam locomotive Canadian Pacific "Empress" 2816 from Houston, TX all the way to Fisher, LA, over 200 miles of chasing, as she leads her train back home to Canada after running from Calgary to Mexico City for the Final Spike tour to celebrate the merger of the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroads, now Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC). Unfortunately, they ran a different route in Houston instead of the one they originally took on the trip to Mexico, which made it harder to chase at first and guessing where it would pass. After Houston we managed to catch up to the train in Eastgate and continued the chase there. With how fast the train was going, it took longer to catch up to it, but I was still not disappointed with the amount of times I caught it.
Thanks for watching and I hope y'all enjoyed my first 4K video!

4:09 Hey, I was at that crossing! I was the kid standing on the back of the truck.
That air horn sounds reminiscent of a New Haven Railroad, Hancock horn.
Fantastic shots
Thank you!
She's ok though. That photo that showed CP #2816 damaged is fake. She's headed home. Now she's at Silvis Illinois for an event
Just never bring it to Mexico again thanks to them not giving a darn about rail safety, especially because of that lady's death.
@@davidng2336agree, never send 2816 to Mexico
fantastic shots.
Thank you!
Well done.
I appreciate it!
