I have a question.... Is there a way to disable clouds and fog permanently on my ark Nitrado server i guess what i mean is is there a code is can put into my game ini or game user settings that will completely remove them forever?? Hope you see this many thanks keep up the good work.

Hi there, in the gameusersettings.ini in the [serversettings] box, if it's not there PvEStructureDecayPeriodMultiplier=1 DisableStructureDecayPvE=False
I believe these will be the lines you'll need pasted in the serversettings box like the maturespeeds and gathering you see in the video, I've never really used these settings before, but I did a little research and found those 2 lines in the wiki, hope they work for you

When you go to config files you have over 100 things to mess with yet when i go to config files i have only 78 things total to mess with. If you have an answer for why this is please respond id really appreciate it
Is there something im doing wrong on notepad? When I click on notepad to open the files nothing shows up and notepad is completely blank. I had to download notepad++ to see if that was the issue but Im having the same issue, on regular notepad the app doesnt even open and on notepad++ it opens but its empty. Any idea what im doing wrong?

Hey Great vid, short and too the point, do you know anything about the stack sizes. I have tried increase things such as "ConfigOverrideItemMaxQuantity=(ItemClassString="PrimalItemConsumable_RawMutton_C",Quantity=(MaxItemQuantity=100,bIgnoreMultiplier=true))" and it hasn't worked. any thoughts

I'm really confused. What Editor is this. Why do I copy stuff out of the game.ini file, paste it in that browser whatever thing you got there and save it to nowhere. Is this some Online-Webserver Nitrado thing? Because when you speak of "server" this is NOT the first thing many people will expect to find. I am looking for the server config on a dedicated server that I host on a 2nd machine and I use Notepad or other text editors to edit my ini files.
Yes this is for Nitrado, thanks for pointing that out. I updated the title to say Nitrado, I don't have experience in dedicated servers, so I can't really add much helpful information there, only thing I can say is assumptions on it, which would be I'd assume that you'd just go into the files on that dedicated server, and edit the game.ini and the gameusersetting.ini files on the server machine of yours.
thanks. your video helped me understand, that the GameUserSettings.ini is the file I was looking for also on my dedicated server, but not all commands seem to have an effect, like the maxplayer number, which I don't seem to be able to set lower than 70 atm.
Do you potentially know when the dinos on carno island will not respawn? Is this a spawn issue? I have yet to import the files and change stuff but man this map feels very bare from dinos for me.
It does seem to be a spawn issue, I've seen some people online talking about their spawn rates being low, the spawn rate seems okay on mine and I haven't changed any settings to do with spawn rates, I'm not overly sure where the settings are to increase them are though, sorry.

I was wondering if there was a way to change the effect of Tranq arrows to make them more potent?
There isn't a way in the ini, but you can find a better quality bow/crossbow and that'll increase the effectiveness of tranqs

Hi there, you'd put those in the gameusersettings.ini file, same place as shown for the taming multiplier in the video. In the wiki I linked in the description, you'll find them there and it has a description of how to set them PlayerResistanceMultiplier=1.0 This part is pulled directly from the wiki "Specifies the scaling factor for the resistance to damage players receive when attacked. The default value 1 provides normal damage. Higher values decrease resistance, increasing damage per attack. Lower values increase it, reducing damage per attack. A value of 0.5 results in a player taking half damage while a value of 2.0 would result in taking double normal damage. "

do you have any info for the resolution settings i know it depends what hardware your running but any way you could tell me good balanced set up for those settings like motion blur light shafts stuff like that ive tried turning them on and off in single player but really not sure if i notice a difference or not sure what to look for once changed ive also tried setting the graphics with the high medium epic that changes everything at once but even high and medium it leaves foilage on epic even though i chose medium or high grapchics settings so unless i go through them 1 by 1 its all over the place some on medium some on high some on epic lol

omg thank you for the super fast reply :) just seen your comment on another video as well so wanted to thank you for helping everyone and taking time to do so im grateful and im sure many other are as well, i did have 1 other question about the info you copy an pasted i noticed there is extra lines of code now that on ark survival evolved werent there so it says near the top of list perstatlevelmultiplier_tamed dino(7)=1 or whatever but under those there is same thing but with dinotamed_add do i just change the first oneor do i change both of these sorry if that is confusing or not said correctly i hope you can understand what im talking about any info would be super helpful just not sure why theres 2 rows of the same type code or which needs to be changed or if both need to be changed. thank you again for uploading this video and getting back to me cant tell you how much this has helped already defiantly gonna sub to your channel thank you @@JaceTheInsane

Hi, the settings you're looking for are in your game.ini file, EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=, BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=, are the 2 lines you're looking for, if you're on nitrado, they have a number next to the lines of text, on mine they're 76 and 77, so look around that number

How do we lower the taming times? I don't see it did I miss it?
TamingSpeedMultiplier=x.0 if you paste this in your gameuser.ini file in the section marked as server settings, and replace the x with however many times faster you want things to tame so if you want it 20x faster just put TamingSpeedMultiplier=20.0 as an example
@JaceTheInsane have you messed with food and water drain?
Not done any messing around with draining, left all that at the standard rate
