There's an auto stack button at the top of the inventory so you no longer have to transfer stuff from inventory to inventory.
Yeah tbh I always forget about it haha, I'm so used to doing it the old way but that being said you won't be able to use it for getting the stacks into the maximum spoil timer :D@@hannahashley3253
Swamp fever description says that movement speed is reduced, along with the other parts like weight and health
I heard that they changed it recently or something, there's literally no benefit to it now, i'm glad to be honest, hated seeing infected people all over the place just because they enjoyed bonus speed lol@@B01

For so long I was annoyed by the click and drag method from inventory to smithy or storage box or whatever. Click draaaaag, click draaaaaag, click draaaaaag. Holding down X and pressing the Right trigger is probably the Best tip of the lot for me

Excellent video! Another tip I discovered with tracking recipes is that it is also possible to track item quantities in your inventory. This makes it easier to keep a general farm count in view. It takes up less screen space so if you know you only need a ton of wood to complete a recipe, just track wood in your inven instead. Cheers!
Edit: This is also a really good way to keep track of how much ammo you have.

Contrary to popular belief I like the movement speed change. I admittedly never leveled it much in ASE, but not having it allows you to appreciate and respect so many other aspects of the game. Mostly talking about players, but I don’t mind it for tames either as it gives them a little more identity. It won’t be for a good while, but the Shadowmane should also increase movement speed whenever Genesis 2 comes out again.
Yeah and you don't need to worry about useless mutations and points into movement speed plus it's impacted the PvP meta ALOT making player vs player skirmishes more balanced. Honestly I think it's THE best change to the game, it does alot more good than bad for the game.
I love it! I can now level up more weight and fortitude 😂

Yeah I love the movement speed change too, fully agree! It's very comforting knowing that if I found an amazing wild creature that I want to tame, that the points can potentially get wasted into the movement speed stat XD

A great Video. Honestly one of the best combinations of old and most commonly known Tips and tricks and a good variety of New ones. I am playing For 7 years and I have never used the Lasso on knocked Out creatures and I could never ever Imagine using it and being able to "Transport" a Quetz with It

Thanks man. The billboard trap is much cheaper if you put your back to a cliff and set two billboards in a triangle shape using two. Saves you the resources of 2 billboards and a bear trap. On official that's a lot of saved resources.

Hopefully it's clear that you sit in the trap and shoot out at the Theiri. They run but, now the AI always comes back even when they run so, you can tame an argry on foot as well.

Damn the spoiling meat in the toilet was brilliant! There are a tons of “spoiler” mods but this vanilla solution is cool.
Idk if anyone pointed this out, but tip 20 with restacking (unless wanting to refresh spoil timers) theres a button where its the 2 squares named "auto stack" so you dont have to transfer to your inventory then back out
Yeah, they did! I admittedly missed that part out, I probably should have mentioned it but I figured it made more sense with the second method having to take all from the containers anyway XD

That said, I decided to put all the points I'd normally put into movement speed into stamina instead.
When it comes to chases, there are two philosophies derived from evolutionary traits in nature. Full on Sprint speed (like a cheetah), or long distance running (like a wolf). A wolf could outrun a cheetah, despite being slower, as long as it avoids capture long enough. Canines can run at full speed for miles, a cheetah can't. It's built for short bursts of blistering speed.
Unfortunately for us, I don't think wild dinos have a stamina bar.
Just so you know, you can transfer full stacks in ASE by holding A and pressing right trigger, as well. Unfortunately, if it's consumable you will eat at least one.
If you hold A for a bit longer in ASE, it will transfer the whole stack too. Little safer.

Switching ammo types was a nightmare in ASE. It was so bad that people would make two crossbows, or two longnecks, each loaded with a different ammo.
I've played ASE several times since ASA came out, and I just can't stick with it. Mostly because of things like this.

The pillars to stack refrigerators is super nice looks like it works with vaults as well. Only thing is if you demo the pillars the structures get destroyed as well as they are snapped to the pillar

That arthro one is cap, i went through 6 gas masks. I never take armor in caves so the mask was all i was wearing they still got destroyed almost instantly

One tip I didn't see on here that is my personal favorite. All shoulder pets can have their inventories accessed from your shoulder like the Sinomacrops on ASE.
You no longer need to toss your otter on the ground to give it your artifacts.
Yeah I love it, I only had him on the ground so he could be seen better haha! And I probably should have mentioned it but I guess I was trying not to add things from my other video I previously uploaded '40 New Features in ASA' oh well! :D

Great video mate! Helped me a lot. I used to play ASE years ago and decided to try Ascended on Xbox game pass through cloud gaming. Definitely needed these tips because I forgot a lot. Unfortunately the radial wheels don’t work on cloud and the games even buggier but it is what it is. It definitely would b better if I had a new gen system with the game installed. It was just released on game pass on 4/1/24 😎

I’ve already switched back to ASE tho only because I love Rag so much and own all the other maps that aren’t on ASA yet.

Also known as 50 things you might not know are in the game. Most of these apply equally to ARK: Survival Evolved.
Particularly the Lasso on the Equus pulling creatures out of the mesh when they are stuck. Wild creatures spawn inside rocks and walls a lot less in ASA, but still do!
You can use scissors on an Ovis to get wool too, which is the same as pelt (just incase you hate killing them like me lol)
Haha yeah you can! I honestly never have tried the scissors, how much does it give you per snip? is there a long cooldown?

I do it all the time tbh, until I get a beehive tbh, but i don't carry them around aimlessly ofcourse XD...I take a bunch out specifically to get honey and attach a load to it then take them back to my base knowing I have a load whenever I need it!
At 10:08, tip #21, I want to mention that the Argy (or any other flyers) can only pick up wild dinos in PvP and NOT in PvE. It’s also a good tip for those who get confused when players are tired of PvP and instead want to swap over to a PvE server.
Thank you for the Xbox Controller shortcut for moving full stacks!! I know on ASE it was really easy but could not for the life of me work out what it was on ASA!

If you go into the settings and add the movement speed back and keep leveling it. Im not really sure what settings it was under but i know its there
Yeah it's only a Single Player thing or unofficial if changed in the settings! Can't level speed on official any more :)

Does anyone else feel the 1st person camera is a little to low on the survivor? The camera is actually located inside your survivors belly instead on In thier head where it's supposed to be. I can understand them not being able to make the camera match your survivors height since they can be made very tall or very short. (Even though all they would need to do is just make it so the camera is offset up or down proportional to your survivors height.) They should at least move the first person camera up a little.
I do agree, my guy is the tallest man on earth but when I'm looking at a tiny female character they look taller than me XD
Getting rid of movement speed was such a proper change. I remember first playing the game and putting points into it and thinking about how stupid it is that I can run this fast, like the base sprint speed is fast af already.
I agree, I like not being able to level speed! I don't play PVP but i'm sure it makes it more balanced and it makes PVE tougher to survive :D
My answer to resource weight reduction STACK MOD! I used to play ASE on Xbox, Still on Xbox but now i can use Mods!

Its weird everyone has issued with the old ramp trap. But ive been using it since day 1 of asa and works fine. Just let the dino hit you right before its about to go in
I think it’s to do with the fact that every creature has different AI, some go in the trap better than others, that Thyla was literally eating his ass and face both attempts in the video and it still wasn’t interested 😂😂
Yeah i've had some creatures go in easy and then others like the Thyla in this video was constantly eating my face and I attempted it about 8 times to get him in there XD

Maybe i'm just dumb or something but about the trackingbar.... I always put the blueprint in my hotbar, and by holding the key of the hotbar number i could see what i needed.... and when i got the resources i could craft it in my hotbar. ;) I still prefer it over "tracking what i need"
Haha not dumb, just preference I guess, it's quicker to craft stuff if you do stick it on the hotbar ofcourse :D

I don't know if this was mentioned but, it may not work in ASA. In ASE, you could use stimberries to reduce the food stat. Example. Get a phiomia, force feed it stimberries, and it would poop away it's food bar. It's possible to make them poop themselves to death. 😓 You could use the mountains if poop, to make into fertilizer. Anyways, the quick food loss mechanic could be used in many ways.
Also, in ASE, you couldn't give an herbivore narcoberries, to increase torpor, once it has eaten a single taming food. Had to be narcotics. Otherwise, it would lose taming effectiveness.
The Phiomia poop with stims does still work haha. Haven't really used them as much due to the Dung Beetles auto picking up poop! That's news to me dude, I would always feed herbivores Narcoberries if I hadn't got enough Narcotics on me, doesn't change the effectiveness at all from my experience! Only berry that ruins the effectiveness when force fed is Stimberries XD
@@BEYPlaysGames well, it wouldn't be a problem for those who always starve tamed. It was only after putting tami g food in, that it would mess with effectiveness. Of course, it's been months since I tested that, it could have been patched, I suppose. Another thing that I may have missed but, don't recall seeing mentioned, was the otter provides both hypo and hyper-thermic insulation, when you put it on your shoulder, based off the otter's melee. Like I said, I may have just missed it on the vid. And that was only on ASE, could be different on ASA. I played way to much ASE. Right at 15k hours worth.
It was probably patched years ago because it's never messed with the effectiveness from what I remember. There was no mention of the Otters other abilities no XD I added the most important one, The Otter was in my other video for Top 10 creatures to tame in ASA and i've got all that info there.@@KenpachiX420
Huh? I play official for years and taming effectiveness has never dropped after force feeding narcoberries even after they've began eating the kibble.
