Gotta tell ya, I went to a dozen autoparts stores, and they couldn't get or find the correct part.I spent 30 seconds on your site and found it. It came exactly when you said it would and watching the videos took around 45 minutes to install. Perfect instructions including the tape for the clip. You just got yourself a permanent customer. Awesome video! Thanks for putting it together. It took me 75 minutes to do my driver side. I took time to really clean up the dirt under the old mirror before installing the new one, which took an extra 15 minutes or so. I drew a diagram on paper and numbered the steps from this video and his video on removing the door panel which made things go easier. As noted by other commenters, you don't have to remove the tweeter speaker, only unplug it's connection from the main speaker. Also, on the mirror's plastic and butyl tape, you only need to peal away the part around the connector, not the whole thing. My 16 year old truck (2007) had old/aged butyl tape which would make it a bit hard to put the plastic back on if totally removed.
Thanks for the video! I had to replace the driver-side mirror on my F150 and this was the info I needed. I went really slow and careful and it still only took me about 40 minutes. Saved me a bunch of money over taking it to the dealer.
Thanks so much! I love saving money DIYing. I went and watched the door panel removal as well to get that cleared up. Replacement went like clockwork. Thank you for the video! I was a little nervous at first since my mirror was the driver side, and there are a lot more electronics on that panel; however, simple disconnects. Thanks again!
Thank you very much! The video was perfect and I was able to do this relatively quickly and it saved me hundreds of dollars. My only regret is I didn’t purchase the mirror from your company. I will be fixing and upgrading more items soon and will for sure buy from you. I appreciate the free instructions.

Super helpful. Took about 30 mins to replace my side mirror. If you have the tweeter speaker just unhook the wire going to the bass speaker. No need to remove the tweeter.
About 6 years ago I had another driver hit my driver side rear view mirror and destroy it. I took it to the dealer to get replaced and it cost me almost $500. A week ago I broke the passenger side. I watched this video and was able to replace the mirror for under $80. Thanks ya'll ROCK!!!
This video was super helpful when trying to swap out a side view mirror on my f150. Thanks a ton for the step by step guide on taking the door panel off.

Great video some things I noted I used 5.5 mm for the speakers 6 for the lower door panel and 8 and 11 in other spots. Also getting the door panel back on was not happening I fought with it for like 40 minutes. I had noticed the speaker “Nutserts” were hampering my path to get the panel on or off so I dremeled about a 3/4 inch relief for them. After that the door panel went on slick. To note you can barely see the relief with he decorative cover off and with it on you cannot see it at all
So....I'm a task procrastinator. As of today, the replacement mirrors for my truck that I bought in December of 2019 and have driven around in the back floorboard, are JUST being put on in April of 2021. I think I may get a prize for that...not certain. That said, this video made it possible to just walk through the task entirely. Thanks.
Great video, I just replaced my passenger side heated mirror with turn signal. I followed every step you provided and it took me 30 minutes to complete the job. Saved me hundreds of dollars and the door panel removal and installation was done without any problem thanks to your video!

Great video! Help tremendously when replacing the factory mirrors with tow mirrors which I bought from 1AAUTO. However, I didn't find the need to completely remove the door handle as shown in 1:40. Thank you very much!
If the mirror glass that's loose there may not ba an adjustment that you can make on it. If the housing base is loose you may be able to tighten the mounting bolts from inside the truck.
Great video, I would just like to add that maybe it would be a good idea to roll down the window before removing the door panel and unplugging stuff. That way you are able to reach thru the window if you need to instead of reaching around it.
@@1AAuto I'm actually gonna use what I learned from your video to replace my driver side mirror. Some dipsh%t drove by my truck in front of my house and sheered off my mirror for me. The clown didn't even bother to stop or come to the door to apologize. Anyway, it's great to have videos like this to take care of easier repairs. @randysmith1968 If your vehicle didn't come from the factory with those options it wouldn't be a direct plug and play solution. You would need to separately wire the other options. You also may want to ask the dealer what it would take to enable the heat option. Hope this helps yah out.
loos like a great video,,1 question. my existing mirror is powered and has turn signal. will the harness still plug into a mirror with heated glass? ( i do not want the heated glass,,its just the only one i found at a good price). thanks ! ill be using your video when i install my mirror

I have a 2006 F-150 FX4 with factory mirrors with only power adjustment. Assuming that I get these same mirrors and install them accordingly, how would I be able to utilize the additional functions (such as power folding and heat) since there aren't existing switches or buttons?
+unoto We carry this tow mirror kit that adds the power fold function. It comes with a wire harness and mirror switch to add the power fold function. As long as all of the other features that you currently have power, heat, turn signals match, they would work on your truck. Here is a link to the kit. I've been investigating and seen that my '10 platinum it actually has power folding mirror along with the switch but my '05 FX4 is manual folding (factory), can I do the upgrade? Would it work changing the switch and power folding mirrors? What would you recommend?
I have a manually adjustable mirror on my '04 F-150. It's loose and at higher speeds, the wind blows it down so low I can't even see out of it. How do I tighten it? Thanks. Mike
I have an 04 FX4 FlareSide with electrical & heated side mirrors. The OEM mirror switch shows option for power folding and I am investigation if this replacement can be done?

Why doesn't anyone roll the window down in these mirror videos? Good vid, just seems to be a common missed trick.
got a video for doing that on a 2013 f150 ?
