Pushrod replacement would just depend on what size cam you went with. Some cams can retain the factory pushrods, it all depends on the lift of your cam selection.
Not that we have available. The torque specs should be able to be found with a Google search or check the Camaro5 forums, there is always plenty of help on there.
Do you have a package to do a LQ4 engine, set up for a 4x4 for mud drag on 200' track using a k10 chev pickup with a turbo 400. What stall converter would you recommend?
They are not necessary but we like to consider the push rods a cheap insurance. The factory ones will work but there have been some failures over the years.
Great vid! Seems like itd be alot easier to tune out the AFM instead of doing the LS3 conversion especially if you plan on doing a mild street friendly cam that doesn't require a stall. Right?
This kit doesn't include everything to convert L99 to LS3. Missing- 1. LS3 valves which are lighter than the L99 2. LS3 pistons- The L99 has valve reliefs machined in the top halves which lowers the compression compared to the LS3. Looks like a good dod delete kit, but definitely not a L99 to LS3 conversion kit.
Hi someone’s selling a cam for the 6th gen Camaro Zl1 but he said I can use it on the 6th gen SS. He’s selling the cam for $225 and it includes the cam and the springs. Should i purchase?
DEADPOOL CAMARO - What torque converter do you guys suggest Answer - This answer would depend on the size of the camshaft. There are different measurements that are taken into account when getting the correct stall speed in a torque converter.
So glad I got the ls3 over the l99
Idk why lol
Yeah L99 got that AFM crap
Can you make a video installing the kit on an automatic Camaro?
I have tsp headers and exhaust just order back half today. Tomorrow my shop will be ordering L99 cam kit. Hopefully 🙏🏽

Shay Findlay - Can you retain dod/afm with an upgraded camshaft in the 6th Gen Camaro ss lt1
Answer - Yes, that is possible with a VVT camshaft.
Is replacing cam bearings not necesary?
Ron Kelly - Did he say that they have a 3.6 kit coming
Answer - We didn't but we are working on options for those as well.
Really helpful!! thank you guys so much for posting this!!!👍🏼
Described very well
What about the GPI Stage 1 VVT cam for the l99? People have been claiming to make like 70+ hp with that thing after tune.
We do not have a lot of experience with GPI products. It could be possible if there are all the other supporting modifications.
Just checked your website said you have nothing for 2011 camaro ss
Why not just tune out AMF and DOD after the cam swap?
My question is do you need to replace the pushrods on the LS 3 cam swap and what kind do you suggest for the stage one titan.
Pushrod replacement would just depend on what size cam you went with. Some cams can retain the factory pushrods, it all depends on the lift of your cam selection.
Excellent informational video!! Awesome!
I can put something like this on my Camaro v.6. I'm sorry for my question???
This’s a V8 process
So what happens when you drop the mammoth cam in a automatic with a oem torque converter ?
The car will surge and the drive ability will be no where near what is wanted.
@@PhastekPerformanceit’s going to be a wild ride till I get that torque converter ordered and installed haha
Is their a guide anywhere for DIYers? I'd just like to know what I need to torque every bolt down too.
Not that we have available. The torque specs should be able to be found with a Google search or check the Camaro5 forums, there is always plenty of help on there.
can I use air flow research heads
No lifters for ls3?
Chris - Is there going to be one for the 3.6?
Answer - We are working on that information.
Enjoyed the video. Great info. Thank you.

Sorry to ask, but is it possible to put a stage 4 cam on a V6 Camaro? I love that choppy sound but I am stuck with my 1LT. Is it possible?
Unfortunately not. Finding a cam manufacturer for the V6 is hard and the price of the cams is quite a bit when compared to the V8 models.
Shoulda just bought a V8 of you tryna spend that much on a V6
is it necessary to buy the pushrod?
They are not necessary but we like to consider the push rods a cheap insurance. The factory ones will work but there have been some failures over the years.
Nothing for v6?

Anything for the lt1 camaro rs 2011?
Is Motive stage 1 LS2 considered a mild cam?
Yes, a Stage 1 is considered a mild cam.
I didn't know Andy Ruiz Jr. Was into cars too besides boxing 🤣
A man of many talents 👍

They call me Hector. Gotta last name too, but I can't pronounce it

Those are lifter trays, not buckets.
That is true, some people refer to them in different ways. Either lifter trays or lifter buckets.
