In this book, you will get general information about the trees,,like it's maximum height & spread, Flowering season, soil & climate.. But for technical instruments, I don't have may idea, but you can contact some agro forestry team,,,if you are planting for large areas.
Kadamba is mentioned in our scriptures too. But was not seen now a days. I would like to grow one my land. The ball like flowers r so attractive. So r Mantalay.

That is Camellia japonica,,,,it will not grow in very hot climate,,, If you have it can grow in subtropical & temperate climate where the temperature does not exceed 35

Yes they will grow at that condition... they can grow in almost all soil types,,,but while making pit (2*2*2feet) the pot should be filled with organic compost+vermicompost+sand+other organic fertilizer.
I suggest to display Common name rather than its scientific name. You may be a great professor to discrib its scientific name but not all viewers are as great as you to understand it.
