This is crazy. I've climbed in caves before (nothing to this level tho), and you cannot quite capture the feeling of climbing in a cave without a rope over deadly drops through video. It is something indescribable and you can only experience it for yourself. Even afterwards, I have trouble remembering just how it felt. Skydiving or normal climbing cannot quite replicate the sense of being near death. This is one of the best videos I've found for rekindling that feeling. 13:30 is an absolutely insane part of the cave. That stretch is jaw-dropping. Thank you for sharing.
Haha thanks. DJI's osmo action 3 is known for not stabilising well in the dark. This issue seems to be solved with the action 4 and 5. But I purchased the 3 as a cost issue. Otherwise, it is a mix of the camera's software and how much light you can provide the camera. Also using flood-light mode instead of spotlight made also makes the recording much better.
A lot of trust in that one cracked boulder :) Accents all over the place where is this? US as racks? looks like an awesome cave. Edit: after a bit of research I think this is in near Waitomo in NZ, right on the other-side of the world to me, so may be a while before I visit :) P.s. I see you have the same issue of it shaking around on your helmet, I tried attaching it to my chest to stop this but then it just gets in the way in squeezes or interferes with my chest jammer or other SRT bits.
Okay got to 14mins yeh that's extreme and I gotta tell you I don't think I would be happy doing that without a rope! That's a blooming long way down there. Though I probbably would if I know I don't have to come back that way.
I ended up checking out the trailer and some clips for this. Definitely looks scary, caves differ to one another, but generally I expect to see insects, crayfish, eels and fishes. It would require a huge energy source to host large organisms.

What a lovely trip! Thanks for sharing (Your camera seems better on low light than GoPro!)
