I’m not positive on this but when you order on Raptor’s home website you can custom order how your foot pegs are made. They make the foot peg it’s self, lower or higher or forward or back without a different mounting bracket. When you order pegs they do not have them in stock, they are made for your specific order. I’m getting ready to place a order for my Honda.
@@sand-motox32 you're about 50% correct I believe.. I can order the 10mm back offset from Raptor on the pegs, which is what these guys are running, but you can't order the mounts which provide the 5mm down offset. I haven't tried contacting Raptor, but on their site is says if you're ordering any offset outside the ones they already have tooling available for, you have to order at least 10 sets in order for it to be feasible to make the tooling. 10mm back and 5mm down is not an option listed, you can either order 10mm back OR 7mm down, but not a combination of down and back offset for the YZ's. I watched another video on Eli's bike and apparently the peg mounts were made in-house, so I'm probably SOL.
@@motocrossaction That's very interesting! MXA do you think its because "El Hombre" has a Hispanic American as a mechanic? Do you think they feel that Jason Montoya isn't articulated enough to explain the motorcycle or is the brass at Kawasaki a bunch of assholes?
I’m just shy of 6’2” and went with the GYTR tall seat. Stock pegs, stock bars with 5mm spacers. One thing I’ve liked about the YZ is the peg height helps in ruts.
Hey thanks for the info I just ordered the seat will see how that works I moved the bars too the front holes on the triple clamps to open that up a bit for him thanks again

Why move up when the deal you have now helps pay bills and keeps a roof over your head. If I were to choose to have a factory team offer or do privateer moving up in 450’s, I would do what helps me the most.
@@chazzgonzalez1356 I get that but these Yamaha guys win multiple championships surely there is a factory team out there willing to pay them. It just seems odd to me it’s new this decade the sport never had this before guys wanted to prove themselves in the past.
@@jonruger this is his last year I’m the class, yes I’m sure there is a team that would sign in but if you look right now almost all teams are full.. that leaves him in a spot to go privateer, which instead of making money in racing he will be losing, as right now he’s making money for his family
And you can still buy some of the those suspension parts of the shelf. It’ll set you back quite a lot but you can buy it. Crazy how everything is closer to production bikes now.
@Duke Bonde you dont understand that wide radiator shrouds directly impact the cockpit and ergos. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the frame. Yamaha is known for having amazing frames. The yamaha is a much better bike all around than the kawi.
Star racing is by far my favorite team. This bike is beautiful and I love all the little short cuts that the mechanic has done on here

Excellent job by Brent Duffe covering all the details on Craig's YZ250F! Maybe I missed it but what engine mounts are you using?
Titanium
He said Works Chassis Lab titanium mounts.

Does anyone know how did he make the bump with the handlebar foam?
You put it under the seat cover and tape into your preferred position
I’d say it’s crossbar foam cut in half

Lites have black plates with white numbers 450s have white plates with black numbers

They only have the best motors and suspension year in and year out along with the best reliability.
@Duke Bonde the front shrouds being wide is the only down side to the yamaha. They dominate in every other aspect.
@Duke Bonde you realize everything you just mentioned goes back to the shrouds being wide correct? It smokes the competition in almost every category
