Excellent description! Dr sahib what is the difference between epidural and spinal? I saw surgeons give spinal injections for lower abdominal operations 🙏
If we go slightly more deeper than the Epidural space then there is the spinal cord is surrounded by different coverings and they have fluid running in between them which we call as cerebral spinal fluid or CSF. if you given an injection into the fluid or in that space it’s called a spinal Injection. Spinal injections are more used for Anaesthesia purposes such as for Caesarean sections or for surgery in the lower limbs.
