So I realize that I'm consuming decades of music catalogue here but I've been streaming this song in particular for years... I really appreciate that Faderhead can do melancholy, insecurity, doubt, and RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE. I have difficulty understanding my own emotions unless I externalize these thoughts through something, like this song.
I wish we had an entire album like this! Favorite FH track of all time!

I loved Faderhead before it got into the masses of the public. Been following him since 2004 when no one knew his name. He's fantastic, and I'd kill to meet him some day! We use to talk on Vampirefreaks some years ago about him coming to Florida for a tour. He finally managed to make it, but it was out of the question for me to make it to the show since it was a 10hr drive. Was at the top of the state, and I live at the bottom...Maybe next year...

Whats the story behind the song....
i'm not sure that's a good question. my best guess is that he is singing about how he is famous and nothing seems real to him because people only love him for his fame, not who he is as a person or how he was before he was famous. (what are your thoughts?)

what are you theories?
My theory is that he lost someone close to him. and then tried to fill the hole inside him with other things, Masking everything from everybody and now he is realizing that his dual life is colliding and he is crumbling.He has been hiding behind these masks for so long that he has become the mask that he has tried so hard to fight. The internal battle that these lyrics speak of do not show in the video. I am not sure why...
Or that he made a mistake by letting a girl get close to him which ultimately lead to her demise, and he is feeling the weight of the guilt due to his mistake.
I wish SAMI himself could enlighten us about the story behind the song?!?
