Richard is right not just CG everyone is starting to feel that way idk why the quote on quote DOJ thinks that is a good idea to keep the fines like that its sad how fast this server went to shit.
That’s an admin/server ownership decision. DOJ doesn’t dictate that themselves, they more so maintain what is there and facilitate any ooc changes within the server
i feel like that managment, admins and koil that don't play the server affects it so much... if they dont have the people with actual "server power" playing, the fixes are delayed so much for balancing shit, an example is the fentanyl payout that was 6k a brick and didn't make any fucking sense cuz you still need to do 3 COD lobby events and the actual chase... and stayed like that for weeks before actually change it. And is actually embarassing how high are the fines and time for crime, i remember some 3.0 shootouts where a gang killed 20+ cops and getting less than a normal 4.0 crim loadout and maybe he killed 3 or 4 cops...
Edit: one more thing, removing admins to create RP for people is dumb as fuck, little admins events for specific people is another thing i miss. the only admin backed up event is survivor wich is great but wtf they are not letting other admins do other little things on the server... it's a fucking content server, let the content thrive
I saw a video about nino changing the fines and jail time then angel went and changed it right back or made it more she needs to go they really put people who have left the server to go play on oynx with higher power angel hires Kyle to every position possible which is wild they are letting it go
Fines are not the issue it’s time and no one in the doj knows that because when asked people say time fine and max had the time set to 75%
The whole point is that is 4.0 hardcore server. Hence with risk comes rewards or pay the price of time . Its roleplay after all unless it gtaonline and thats where NP was clear but our thick heads just didn’t absorb it think its still 3.0-3.8.

I feel so bad for him. Every time i hear him he sounds exhausted. Constantly blackballed by the north, by people like angel, by the devs even. Like theres really nothing he can do. The server is rotten to its roots. But hes trying atleast

Best we can hope for is no 5.0 and that server goes i don't know how you don't enjoy watching prodigy over no pixel at least for majority of 3.0 and all of 4.0 the hope you should also have is every other gang but besties and Cypress move there or at least there actual Rpers do.

Unfortunately, at some point, the people who do jail times and fines forgot that they are all playing a game. Nopixel is a content server, you shouldn't be getting hit by 800 mins jail time and 500k fines. That is very discouraging for every content creator trying to come up with RP scenarios which are bigger than the basic things you can do. You actually get punished by what you could call a soft ban for trying.
Even some cops on Nopixel treat the game as their second life. As if their job was to literally eradicate crime so I must be a sweat lord and take the W. Then stack the charges and make sure the crim pays! It almost seems like what they want is to just do basic ass chases from Art Gallery, Maze Bank and go on repeat.
You need crime so cops can go and do their job and crims need cops to be active so they get chase and so on. It is a common knowledge but this concept got lost some time ago on Nopixel. I haven't watched Nopixel in a few weeks, thank fuck for Prodigy.

What is the vision of nopixel because the way they ran the server before and now didn't change at all. If it's not Crane, it's Angel. Look how they treat Nino or HC of lspd its insane
Koil endorsed long punishments in jail a few months back during a stream. So all blame lies at his feet. He straight up said "depending on the crime, there should be sufficient punishment" then went on to say something about there needs to be things to do in jail though. Problem is, aint shit to do in jail, and if you're not CG and have the strings to pull like K does, long punishments are stream-ending day-ending logout time events. Even K can only go so long and create so much RP in jail. It's boring as fuck and while it sounds logical, it's not practical. Not to mention the trickle-down effect of:
Bad Cop RP during negotiations/traffic stop/pre-chase --> Scuff during crime/chase --> Cops abusing mechanics to get arrest --> Cops getting the arrest after try-harding and not giving any RP in the process --> Cops depriving jail RP and forcing people that are arrested to sit around for 2-4 hours in a local jail cell --> Crims getting max punishment, stacking charges and no RP while in local jail cell --> Sent to prison for hours or days on end for something that was interesting and created content for everyone else in the city, allowing them to have interesting content on THEIR stream.
It all blends together into a shit smoothie for anyone on the crim side for their entire stream, if anything goes wrong, they're being punished for RPing as a crim. There's no benefit in the end, only loss, not only in game, but IRL due to lack of content for your stream.
I truly dont understand the concept of having jail times so long. Sure there is lifers, but the lifers only provide so much rp. Maybe 30 mins worth lol. Not 800 minutes worth.
Why do the cops and doj get off on sending people to jail for so long? They actually get mad when someone sends them for less.
Opal sent ramee for 200 instead of 600 or aomething and got in trouble for it like 3h20m wasnt long enough.
I mean lifers provide good rp for themselves but it's more the fact that when crims go to jail for 200+ months they can only rp so much in jail. That's why when someone gets 400+ months they might spend an hour in jail and then log off for the day. Even if they only streams 2 hours. The content just isn't there. But lifers don't have a problem because that's what they are use to. They have to do that to show that they are good enough to rp with ppl on wl. The creat rp out of nothing in there for themselves. UT it's hard to creat rp for ppl that aren't lifers. That's why the best fix to this is what Dean said ooc. Max 2 hours. Even if you wanna make it max 200 min for some crazy shit it's understandable but when you get 500+ months just for shot AT cops plus 2 or so hot gun charges it's wild work. Honestly I guarantee crims would be more okay with them upping the fine by double if that means the max time is 2-3 hours MAX whatever you do.
Because to them it's not a game, it's their (second) life, and their job is a cop, and the job of a cop is to stop crime, catch the bad guys and lock them up, issue severe punishments to dissuade them from committing crimes in the future, to do whatever is needed to protect themselves and their fellow officers.
They have lost the plot-perhaps never even realized that there was a plot-and they are going to throw a fit whenever things don't go that way because that is ruining their life's work, a waste of all the time and effort they put in to catching the crims if they are just back out on the street to do it again so soon.
Instead of, you know, realizing that they are an actor, playing a role, working with other actors, and the goal is to have a good exchange, a good interaction, and that having those actors free to work on the next scene is infinitely better than them sitting in a timeout room.
They all need to be banned from the server, there simply is no saving them, they are lost in the sauce, they are not there for the right reasons, they're not there to put on a good show or give to other people good interactions, they are there to fill a hole in their life with a fake second one where they can be someone or something that they are not-they're their for their own mental therapy, not to benefit anyone else, and it shows in how quickly they fly off the handle and crash out that they are not stable individuals, they cannot handle conflict, they cannot take a loss, they view even constructive in character criticisms as OOC personal attacks.
Honestly, it's exhausting to witness, and I don't know how so many people continue to return to the server to dwell in the doomer depression anxiety stew these people fester in.
I guess it is some sort of contagion and they get sucked in by the mutual trauma sharing or something.
That makes no sense or ppl that get domed should have at least 6:months of recovery and rehabilitation mandatory RP and roll to perma every single time they get shot.

I mean when the OWNER of Nopixel (koil) has literally said he likes long sentences because crims need "consequences" u shouldnt be surprised. As a crim viewer I have no problem if Koil wants that but where are the PD consequences? Look at the cornwood situation, anytime their is consequences for PD it is drama, crying, and cops quitting.

prodigy 2.0 has been so much more fun as a whole than 4.0. i hope prodigy keeps pumping out updates because their management seems to understand how to foster a content creating environment better than the current people making decisions for nopixel. also there is just no history of weird bs from other players and no weird ooc jealous friend groups in prodigy compared to nopixel. maybe/if koil comes back for good things will change but i dont see that happening anytime soon.

I mean, I enjoy Prodigy 1000x more than NoPixel over the past few years, but Prodigy as a whole is still lacking in solid RP. It is however a problem that will solve itself over time as long as they can keep eyes on it, because the more people that come in to try it will create more of a pool of talent to choose from and provides the opportunity for good RP to shine.
@@Arealdruid Agreed. Its very odd because the police department on Prodigy is such a huge W, but they just don't have enough RP/Characters on the server right now to make it feel really alive.
It 100% will get a lot better as they give out prio to the people that deserve it and are creating storylines.

for a server thats main focus is consequences they sure do be one sided. idk why people still join np just not being able to talk about a ban would steer me away. For a bunch of people who signed up to be on the internet Infront of millions of people they sure do seem to be scared of words or better yet the truth. Yea i played on the public server and got banned due to some shit from other members in my gang and all admins said was “read the rules” i go to read the rules and i cant because my entire account it suspended i made a ticket to get the rules and they just sent me a screenshot of a reddit post like they didnt even have the actual rules on hand that kinda put me off trying to get unbanned

I mean even summit said they got tired of the w cop environment when he left, was getting out of hand with how little people followed procedure just to get the chase over with.
It's a fairly simple answer. Their management group owns the server so of course they're going to play on it.... the crazy thing is, no pixel RP has gotten so much better over the last couple of weeks. Especially since they started announcing 5.0 more people are focusing on RP and less on mechanics and it's actually gotten way way better. I'm loving the arcs right now.

on NP you got the same cops and judges some with new names who have been doing the same characters since 2019.
K tried to do real estate and it was shut down instantly by dumb cops arresting him.
when I've tuned into Prodigy I've seen humorous cops who aren't trying hard to arrest every single person they come in contact with.
AND now he's doing real estate with OTT.
It's the classic case of certain people who are "higher up" just want to ruin CG's RP.
On Prodigy it's way more RP focused and not so much on getting the W.

They didn't dip, their management company made deals to get them to play on prodigy for a period of time. If they actually wanted to leave NoPixel permanently they wouldn't have people running their operations on NoPixel still to make sure they have something when they decide to come back.

Prodigy doesn't need to pay every member of CG to play on Prodigy. They could have just paid Kebun and they all would have switched because their gang doesn't exist without their leader.
Summit is definitely getting paid, dude has criticized prodigy so much and is still playing it, yet never tried out NoPixel. Hutch is definitely getting paid, dude did a voice over for their trailer. Mehdi might not be getting paid but he said ownership really wanted him as Chief of Police, so its possible they cut him some money, due to how little he plays on prodigy, he probably doesn't have a minimum amount of hours streamed like Summit probably has.
Garrett definitely isn't getting paid, and just plays on the server occasionally for fun.
I just think there are some people that know how to role play and then you have the ones that comes from gta 5 online and dont know what role play mean and start talking and acting a fool those the one that be taking the fun out if the gta rp that my opinion
I feel like a huge problem with NP is that the cops seem to think the game is called LSPD RP and not GTA RP. All the heist and drug mechanics are meant for crims and to make the game so unfun for crims makes you wonder what the game plan is.
Theres no dif at this point, system wise... I see no point on playing on NP with toxic , power hungry people, when you can do the same stuff on prodigy(or any other server) and have fun... GTA V will die in a year anyway, NP and every server will die anyway... none cares about NP anymore that much... only Mehdi... dont know why but nah , thats Mehdi , he feeds with proving people that they are stoopid:))))
Current PD should just switch to crim and CG should come back in full force replacing the now PD and let the ex pd see how it feels.

Ill say this once again. I promise you that if you just cut the time to 200 months MAX for whatever and even doubled the fines that ppl would be more okay with it. Its not super easy to get money but its not reql hard either. Yes you have to grind but i guarantee that 99% of gangs have enough money right that it wont make that big of a differnce. And honwstly that just helps the pd also because they get part of that miney so they would get double what they normally would. Even if its not double for whatever reason just raise them enough(like if it was 90k before make it 130-150k now) Its just a win-win really. And this isnt rocket science😂😂😂😂
But there will be complains tho you can't really get rid of all complains but you can definitely make them alot less don't raise the fines lower the time fix the bugs in the server (tho it's been like 8 or 9 months there are still bugs that are from day 1) instead of the 3D work that is not important but I really don't know what the nopixel guys are doing
@@philipspigelmeyer959 200 minutes is still absurd for getting caught in a video game. We’re just used to such crazy long sentences now that 3 and a half hours max sounds good. It shouldn’t be more than an hour even for the most heinous crimes. The fines should just go higher, not the time.

An exchange/reputation system can be introduced to the prison. We can gain reputation by selling the drugs we bring to the prison. Let's earn items such as cigarettes, alcohol, old phones, porn magazines from the people we sell drugs to. And let's trade them with the SMUGGLERS NPCs around. Let's get the smugglers to give us better, rare items.

Both NP and Prodigy are pretty boring to me ngl. RP as a whole has gone downhill. I haven't watched Purple and ONX but they also seem boring.
After 2.0 and the 3.0 boom of NP, you'll just never get that level anymore. People were new, also didn't know each other and more actual RP was possible. Communities were also less broken up. Now every RP community is in a war.
Only way people will get excited again is with GTA6.

It could be true, but I’m pretty sure there’s things behind the scenes that none of us know about. The way they all moved gives a little more than we are just trying it. Regardless CG is so big, they can come and go anywhere as they please.
The update adds to the hype...but lets be real....everyone sees the problem in NP....a least the ones that are not part of the problem.

Before CG left NP, it was already getting boring on NP. Things got repetitive and just not fun with lots of RP blocking going on in the server. However, I also think the current situation is also boring.
Prodigy tries its best, there's a lot of interesting features, petty crime etc. But the player base just isn't there. And what I mean with playerbase, is a high level quality of RPer. There's some fun ones like Luthor, but they are more the exception than the rule.
I've watched LK since 4.0 started this time around and now I'm also dipping and watching less because its been pretty boring ngl. I think the NP drama even makes it a lot more interesting to watch even if there's RP being blocked. More interesting to witness a crazy 10CG on NP than watching K on Prodigy talk to someone with a bad mic. Or just watching him, Ramee/Taco/Vinny..
U gotta understand a community doesn't form for them overnight nopixel had years to make there community what it is today so trying to compare the two in that regard is kinda eh the quality in that area will start going up they haven't dropped there standards etc
@@shameless784 not necessarily, it's a diminishing return. Prodigy is awesome and great for CG cause the server somewhat caters to them. As the server gets more popular with bigger RPer or streamers, egos will clash and you'll have the same complaints as NP. You can already see some other gangs getting jelly. Hopefully cops stay how they are in P2 though. Prodigy isn't all that great cause the lack of appeal comes from the same groups staying together and game being so old and outdated

It's like a mom and pop shop making quality food and once it booms and becomes too big, they adjust the formula to scale and the product quality drops
