If 5.0 has the same cops and higher ups in it then it's basically the same as 4.0. I agree with OTT if the culture doesn't change then there is no point.

Hopefully koil takes total control of the PD and keeps a very firm grip on the culture and what is and isn't allowed. They also need to replace a lot of the admins and Devs who have grudges against different groups.

If koil actually steps up and controls the pd for at least the first 3-5 months and makes sure proper high command are in place and will run it good then the server SHOULD already be alot better. Alot fo the problems started with the pd and how it was working.
@@philipspigelmeyer959 yeah he needs to find a few new admins as well who don't already have personal hates and dislikes of certain groups and people.... And ensure Devs fix stuff as soon as possible rather than ignoring it. Nopixal is the no1 server and it wouldn't take much to fix it but it will require people who actually care enough about it rather than the money it makes to do it.
The only feedback Devs takes from the "community" in NoPixel is from Cops or DOJ.
In Prodigy, Ravage already invite Mr.K (Crim), Bustin(Cop), to discuss server problems. And its not about K or anything, my point is that the owner want to check the point of view from all sides (Crim, Civ and Cops).
They used to do this in Nopixel years ago.
Another reason 2.0 was a golden era.
But in 3.0 it turned into a blame game and people weren’t listened to. So people stopped going.
That was the beginning period of the server starting to go downhill but it accelerated it’s decline in 4.0.

I 100% agree the NP problem, is a culture problem. There are soooooo few people there who actually deserve to be there. In 2.0 you had civs like Kiki, and Kevin Whipaloo and crims like prune gang. The Pd MAYBE showed up to like 1/3 of the crime so story lines could breath. A fun civ community that roles with other peoples RP, a PD that operates like a PD, and not the military, crims that aren't so self serious that they can't give and take. These are the things that make a server good. NP community has been trending in the opposite direction with it's roster for years. Especially in the PD. There are some factions in NP, that do not play well with others, and just need to be removed. It's really that simple. Unfortunately a lot of the problem children are admins, or admin friends, so it wont happen.

@@iainhughes8178 a few of them got banned for highspeed pitting i think not blocks. cops were doing the same nothing happened but when cg got banned instantly i think one of them that caught a ban was shotz i could be wrong on the member who got banned for it though

It’s just that 99% of viewership on the sever is from cg and they keep cg happy so that it’s. That’s the only reason otherwise it would be the same as every other server

The thing about prodigy, it’s not a streamer filled city, ravage made sure that regulars better be on their best behavior or you just gone doesn’t matter also same with cops.

Literally this, no need for people to make it any more complex or act like there are deeper issues. PD is hyper corrupt, and they basically ruined the entire city and turned the devs against other players. It's a case of teacher's pet.
Admins are the problem. Cops are only a problem because admins are pd biased, so they don't ban cops for rulebreaks and a bunch of other sht

If they don’t sort out the culture problem that has plagued and festered Nopixel for quite some time now then 5.0 is going to flop.
But they didn’t learn from the mistakes of 3.0 and allowed it to get worse. So expectation are low.
Lack of caring about the roleplay first and letting roleplay develop especially from the DOJ/ PD side has caused 4.0 to be a disaster.
they need an active admins to stop bull shit and shit wars/rp. also stop gangs from been 40 people grind fest so they have mils in first few months
They literally just need to give people like kebun, ramee, 4head and other notable trustworthy crims admin and give them the power to help manage the server. And remove like half their admins.

Players(most of them) don't prioritise CONTENT there... especially cops. They are like Robots who can't provide to the scene.
Remove PD pings .. that will make cops to patrol and not Zerg rush pings . PD need to stop hating on good women cops .PD boys club needs to stop . Pd should not be more powerful than crims and No Pixel management need to stop catering to PD when they complain to admins ,issues should be discussed on a public monthly meeting to just hear streamers concerns etc

The cops and the fines and the jail time is to much. My opinion from a viewer
I think part the problem was 4.0 had so many public players where 2.0 & 3.0 it was whitelist applications and if you got banned it was a big thing where 4.0 if someone messed up back to their public group they go so all they lose is access to whitelist and it wasn’t modded as much
4.0 is an application whitelist as well though how's it different? If you're banned you go back to your old server. The only public players are the lifers and those get banned fast and are locked in the prison 99.9% of the time
People don´t know what they want. They say they want less toxicity, less drama, less conflict, less shootouts etc., but deep down, that´s what humans love. Even the Reddit frogs that complain about it, they LOVE drama. So the person we´re supposed to be is trying to decrease the drama and toxicity, but the person we are is bored out of its mind. We´re not supposed love violence, drama, pornography, pop music, fastfood etc.. But businesses knows that deep down we do, and they exploit that constantly.
well, if you want to fix NP, iam not saying its broken. you got to ban some people in manor, some people in hades, some people in Miguel's gang, some in saints, and probably some more i forgot the names of, then you focus on keeping people that doesn't have egos or start conflict over very small shit, have war actually mean something, hire more admins to monitor RP, fix the culture day by day. it all starts with Np staff then admins forcing people to RP and stop being lazy. have people create a RP arc instead of sitting on their ass all day doing banks 24/7. and for the cops i really believe when cops had limit on how many cops could show up each situation was the best for the health of the server. Also no corruption allowed in DOJ and COPS no matter what rank you are. now a days Cops have way too much freedom and can do anything they want including being a gangster cop, no wonder most people from the gangs are playing on their cops lately.
nopixel has been under developing for years, im not sure if its a business move but ive been developing mechanics for fivem for so long now that nopixel is behind in its ideas and they are not taking full advantage of creativity and they just save it for another .0 update , chang gang left because the cops were assholes .......again (not all cops btw just some of the newbies) and the stress of literally being stopped at every turn in a roleplay server to try and create roleplay as a crim with a business but businesses for crims is stopped because , after god knows how long they stopped giving crims businesses and are trying to only let normal civs run them, and unfortunately people in nopixel are not fans of CG after being their for so long and Lifeplaying only , yes alot of the civs are just Lifeplaying sim characters its not fun to watch but some are, Andi for example is an amazing civ rper and she is great socially for the server , , from a dev standpoint they have not even considered money laundering with businesses instead in 4.0 i watched everyone rob a laundromat for information and items that doesnt even make sense ..... infact not alot made sense this time around to a certain point , im not saying prodigy is doing better but i didnt see main streamers from prodigy leave to go to nopixel

I don't wanna be that guy but when there was whitelist stuff it did better and actually storylines for racing and all. Buddha , k , and ramee having the first businesses helped bring attention to the places
Nopixel seemed to have forgotten about why people were playing there in the first place. At its peak, you had the perfect mix of shitlord and serious. People wanted to hang with that. Then they started being about the latest meta drop. I mentioned a few months ago about ONX and Purple RP, they seem to do the little quality of life things, like speakerphone and FaceTime. You don't necessarily have to spend an entire stream in prison for shitlording. Meanwhile, devs on Nopixel rolled out oxycodone blueprints and meth labs, but haven't fixed scuff that's been around since the 4.0 server launch. I haven't even touched on the PD problem that's existed since at least 3.0 but this is a little TLDR already.
And they rolled out those blueprints after buddah calling it "huge things are coming to nopixel" yet, sorry to say, prodigy has a better system, immersion, and QOL to their "blueprint" and only 1/4th the time nopixel did, prodigy seems to use their resources and nopixel feels like they know they're going down hill and cutting corners and minimalising costs to cushion their pockets b4 dipping, where's koil been? Why is buddah a pr spewing talking piece that provides zero evidence to his talking points only showing time after time his "huge updates" are utter scuff filled garbage. Why is pd 7/10th of the server now days with more updates and changes than anything else yet the tools they get are never used towards cypress? Why is the only happy gang cypress? Why are most large gangs disbanding? Manor, hydra, cg (left all together), bbmc don't even wake up anymore besides a select few like whippy who most likely has a contract to stay (completely assumption but can you prove otherwise instead of him saying he 'loves' the server) no new gangs forming, no actually credible updates a HALF A YEAR after launching, again... only updates are gov/doj/cop based. I've been watching nopixel on all sides, civ, pd, gang, for about 8-9 years and Arma b4 that, and it's become a show I'm invested in and it's a shame to see it's downfall like this, I work graveyard state police so when I'm in my cruiser waiting for dispatch calls this is what I'm watching. Nopixels management is not what it used to be and unfortunate to say... its utterly garbage and 95% of the pd should be removed.

@@Xarelpal4.0 still has a lot of DWs coding etc. hence why the casino (and the heist) isn’t out yet. They’re waiting to see if they win the court case to see if they can release a lot of the stuff.
i disagree with OTT about nopixel's mechanics being the best half the shit they released was broken on release and had to be fixed and worse part is that it NEVER gets fixed they have gun scuff noise sound bug in car and heists being half completed but pushed as if they were complete... for months and was never fixed even with top streamers reporting it all the time because of how annoying it was having to switch to front seat to get it to fix itself. (which is probably why they never fixed it because there was a ingame "fix" people could do that would get it to stop) the only thing 4.0 was a great UI and even that scuffed out at times and would need a relogging and u bet it was never fixed.
I think any of the updates or content that was meant for 4.0, will just be moved to 5.0…. Not that anything was finnished cuz… common, it’s np. They slower than rockstar

The culture of NoPixel all stems from too many entitled streamers have prio. Even Maximus himself became a lazy bubble Andy who only interacted with the same 10 people for years like many others. 5.0 needs a complete whitelist and priority wipe. A new era must be built on riding the train again and not entitlement because of your viewer count. Nothing will change if everyday is the same pool of streamers recycling the same repackaged RP.

IMO it all boils down to streamers being self inserts. Streamers need to start playing characters. Decisions, character faults need be be binded to the character and not the streamer. Being a self insert character doesn't help with that. Gangs are like Clans on CoD now. Being self inserts festers the toxicity. Brings the Us against Them mentality. Be it PD VS Gang, be it Gang VS Gang.

People have been playing the same characters for 6-7 years. All the bad follows with each character and people hold grudges. Makes sense a new server with new characters would feel fresh and fun.
