I am in the process of becoming a foster parent, and I'm so grateful for your channel. You're right there's so few people on here showing what I want to see (information about foster care and the process of foster care and/or daily life as a foster parent). When I find someone I've been going back 3 to 4 yrs and watching all the way up to current time since there's such a lack of current fostering content
Your video/audio quality actually seems fine to me. I often enjoy small channels like yours. It feels more personal. But I hope your channel grows over time!
I’m like you…..struggled with infertility, looked into foster to adopt, and it’s been almost 20 years, we’ve had 26 foster children, and have adopted 4. My one son is significantly disabled and all 3 of my daughters have FASD to different degrees. My one current foster daughter is the healthiest. Love your channel! ❤️
I appreciate you so much! We also looked into Foster Care because of infertility and we are raising a wonderful 4 year old boy. There is so much that goes into doing this besides our day to day. Between appointment , school services, visits that is amazing you make the time for this channel! Thank you so much for your efforts! I find it so relatable when fostering can be isolating. Have a wonderful and restful holiday!
Fostering really is very isolating at times! Not enough people know what it’s really about and often many of us are too proud or guilty feeling to say we need help! I totally get that feeling
It's funny somebody complained about the sound because I deliver newspapers at night and my husband and I are in the process of getting licensed to Foster. I started listening to you because you were one of the only videos that was loud enough that I could listen to the sound to on my phone while I rode with my window down and threw out papers.
Some slightly encouraging perspective: about 1% of the US population works for Walmart. So twice as many people as that have adopted. Kind of puts it in a slightly sunnier light, i think.
Hi, I was wondering if you and your husband plan to do more fostering after the adoptions of the two boys? Cause you seem to be a very genuine and great family so more children could benefit from your positivity. Love your channel ! Have a great weekend.
I would not worry about professional equipment. You have to start somewhere, and like everybody, priorities are not you tube, at the moment. With all the controversy surrounding cps and foster care the channel will grow. I like the crazy channels, but it is not, the norm, where families esp those adopting from foster , get ti have whatever their heart desires, like all those kids. I m sure those teens are well awate how much they are profiting materially as well as family
