Aw, Whiskers is cute 😍 Good for you for finishing him. Like this collage and the story that goes with it. Brought me back then to my own sewing adventures. I made a lot of my own clothes in the 70's (back when you were...1😂😂)
Can’t rush these things 🤣🤣 I love your giant mouse❣️ The fabric is adorable 💛❤️💙 and so is your collage to celebrate your finished product 🐁💖 oh & I love his name 🤗
Whiskers bodkin ❤️ lovely page and wonderful memories. If you make him a friend an easy way to turn the tail is to carefully sew a length of strong thread / string on the inside of the tube attached at the far end and pull the material to the right side 🤗btw love the 70’s fabric
Oh my gosh I love Whiskers Bodkin! He's adorable!!! I used to sew when I was young too. It never crossed my mind what happened to the clothes I made. Your story was great and a whole lot of fun. 🩷🐭🩷
Diane: oh,- this project is a winner! When I first saw the mouse, I thought, oh look,- she made a mouse years ago and there must be a story behind it. Never guessing you cut it in 1976 and finished it in 2024. Your story is priceless. You need to write about that and put it on the page next to it. It’s the best! And please add a piece of the fabric and his name. This was a wonderful way to start my Friday morning. Most enjoyable on many levels. Thx. Carol from California
Thank you! Yes, that's quite a story. Good idea about writing it down. Unfortunately, there is no more of that fabric, but I could make a name tag.🐭 Thanks for the idea! 🤩TFW! 😃
@@caroltanzi29 I hadn't thought of a picture. No scraps either; it was just the pattern pieces pinned to the fabric, already cut out, in a plastic bag all these years!!
@@TatteredEdgesDesign Diane: no scraps either? Oh,-boy! This is a great crafter ‘s story. I know you’ll come up with something. You’re an artist and very creative. The adjacent page has to have the story on it. It’s a natural. Carol

Isn't it amazing how talented some one-year-olds were back in the '70s? 😉TFW!! 😄🐭

Thank you! 🐭And thanks for the "string trick." I'll have to remember that. Yeah, they don't make fabric like that anymore! TFW! 😄

@@TatteredEdgesDesign Diane: take a pic of the fabric since you don’t have any fabric left. Or even scraps would do. Carol
