Fr Brendan, thank you and to all your fellow Brothers for your faith, commitment and dedication to God. May God Bless you and all the Brothers and Priests at New Melleray Abbey. Seventeen years ago, I came to the Abbey out of complete desperation and stayed twice for almost a month. It was very crowded at the time such that I slept in my van every night. Through all of your prayers and with the special kind, dedicated ministry and guidance from Fr Jim Henderson, I was able to receive God's Grace in healing for a new beginning in life. Since visiting this Special Holy Place, I have strived to live closer to God and the Holy Spirit through daily Holy Mass and have been blessed with the continued guidance from our loving Blessed Mother. (P.S.--She most likely gave you a smile, instead of the wink.) Through Christ our Lord and Savior, I keep everyone at the Abbey in my prayers.
