India's GDP is about 1/5 that of China, 1/7 that of the US. Both China and the US are permanent members of the UN security council, while India is not. China is India's number 2 trading partner, accounting for 10% of India's trades. But India is only number 11 in China's trading partners, a mere 2% of China's total trade. I can't see what India can do to force or help China to do anything.
