There’s a 99% chance that if it’s a Buttery Digs find, I’ll love it 😊 Have discovered so many new artists from this channel like no other! Happy to see a new video, thank you! ✌️
Great selection of stuff, all very interesting. I will have to hear the Gabraith project. I would like to know where he's headed. Temple IV is here as well and I am loving it. So magical and a interesting and sad backstory to it. I recently was looking at acquiring the Max Block too! And you know how I feel about Windy and Carl. I think I purged that Ronald Snjiders too soon. I didn't give it enough of a listen. Trying to avoid doing that in the future!
James, I thought that Paul Dresher sounded familiar. I have a CD by Vicki Ray - From The Left Edge, which is solo piano and it has a Dresher composition "Blue Diamonds". Lagash seems interesting. I only have Alastair Galbraith's two CDs Long Wires In Dark Museums. Thanks, Chris
Hi James, that version of Kunta Kinte on the Pressure Sounds comp is about as good as it gets. Total killer version. Not sure if you've seen the Small Axe - Lover's Rock drama on BBC, produced by Steve McQueen. It uses Kunta Kinte to mesmerising effect. Well worth watching. Johnny Osbourne's Truth and Rights is terrific as well. A well played record in my collection. Just wish the Studio One stuff would get the reissues they deserve. In total disarray for decades now.The cover almost looks like a Blue Note cover. All the best to you, Steve.
Nice group of records. You always venture into areas of the music world that I may have missed. I’m usually mixing a number of reissues with those originals whenever I can that works. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Too bad dresher did not make more lp's in that era both that one and his lovely label lp are favorites..definitely was me on the snjiders..lol..love that one glad you got yourself an og. Much love chris
Valentina Magaletti - A Queer Anthology Of Drums I want to hunt down! Also Laurie Spiegel - The Expanding Universe.both are in a shop about 1.5 hours away.if you haven’t heard claire rousay - A Heavenly Touch I recommend t. Thank you
I have Dom’s old copy of that Minutemen. Leans more masterpiece than rubbish for me lol Truths and Rights is a favorite in my reggae section. Will be seeking out that Italian drummer record. Looks like multiple color covers.

Magaletti is such a talented drummer---i love her work with RAIME the most.
Oh yeah RAIME of course, I had a feeling another band slipped my mind when I said it

Sorry I probably mumbled meant to say a “weird Jamaican repress” unknown year
