I didn't expect much, and I actually had fun on the coaster. All of the trims except for the ones at the end have to be emergency brakes in case something is wrong. Usually those are not on.
Tbh calling this ride "bad" is just a little bit of a stretch... I think the way you mentioned the shoulder harnesses may be a little misleading, since it's not exactly a restraint, more like a seatbelt. It's not a "good" coaster by any means, but it doesn't look that bad either. I'd say it looks pretty "meh".
Yeah "bad" is really just what anyone who wants everything modern or the "family coaster" has to be like maybe 3 acceptable models or it's trash. I feel like interpark should have a size up from this, this is basically a better made, cheaper version of an old pinfari model (makes sense since interpark bought pinfari decades ago), but if it had bigger drops and less obnoxious breaks "meh" could easily be good. Make it much bigger, add in a loop, and it could easily be "pretty good." Not a well...whatever people love the most these days and love endlessly, but for what it is after, accomplish that a bit better than this standard model. Kinda glad I didn't make an extra trip out here, especially when I found Six flags great america has it's own huss crazy legs model like this park does (didn't know going, thought it'd be missing out on that now).

What the hell! I thought you were overreacting when you talked about the trim breaks, but I saw the trim breaks at the end and just wow. I just can't believe that a coaster at this size have breaks that hard and they're trim breaks! According to the video, I honestly think that the final breaks at the station isn't as powerful as the trim breaks that you encounter in the ride. However I can be wrong. Something I wouldn't mind at all for the park to redesign in house a few of the breaks. Santa's Village is strong on the in house projects they do and I can see this idea can improve the ride. Could this be in your top 10 worst coasters? Thanks for posting this video and I can't wait to see what's next for the channel. (Can't wait for Rampage pov!)
I apologize if you enjoy Super Cyclone, but judging by the pov, it looks bad. However I haven't took a ride on it, so I'm not the best to ask about the ride unless you want to know the manufacturer, Interpark, or whatever. If you enjoy it, great. I enjoy a lot of roller coasters that the enthusiasts hate on that I like and hate a lot of coasters that the enthusiasts warship. Be yourself and that will make you the best you can be.
My guess is that this was initially designed to run individual cars and those trims were to be like block brakes so that multiple cars could be running at the same time. Or some crafty sales person sold them on "safety"! ???????????
My opinion on the ride, if you didn’t say this was built in 2017, I would thought it was built in the 80’s. Second, the breaks look painful. Third, they just didn’t seem like they put a lot of effort into this ride because it looks jerky and uncomfortable. Also, why did they put over the shoulder restraints on this coaster? It makes no sence!
Sophie's Entertainment If you check In The Loop's video about the announcement of the roller coaster, the owners tell us it takes like 10 days or so to construct the whole ride. That explains the quality in my view.
This coaster in general just looks sketchy. I mean Interpark did acquire Pinfari in 2007 to build this, but I mean still kinda sketchy. Also, trim brakes on a ride this small???? Yeah I don't think that's how it works, Interpark. If you're using trim brakes, use them so it makes sense where to put them. Like look at something like Behemoth. It uses a lot of trims brakes, but it makes sense because the trims are supposed to give an almost perfect floater airtime sensation, regardless of being on or off. That's just my rant on trims :D
Ok… this is a embarrassing story, so I went to Santa’s village and after Santa’s village we were gonna go to six flags. After going on the cyclone for the last time we drove to six flags. The first ride I’ve went on is the raging bull. I cried just going up the chainlift because it was so high then I was wailing when we went down the first drop…
I’ve ridden It Before, And it was pretty stupid. The brakes Were brutally rough. I’ve Only been to Santa’s Village Twice ,(once 6 Years ago) because They only have 2 coasters. I live 45 minutes Away From there.
I'm glad that they built this there. They used to have the Galaxy there when I was a kid. It might be a terrible coaster, but it's good for the nostalgia
The only time I *ever* had a tiny bit of fun on a galaxi was like 25 or so years back at sea world in australia, I think it was called wild waves coaster or something. They had 2 cars attached and it was running without trims when I rode it, so I literally got a smidgen of whip down back seat airtime in the very last seat on the first drop. Regardless, these, along with SLC's, are the two worst mass produced coasters on earth and the designer should never be allowed to even so much as think of a coaster again.
