Absolutely. It gives me chills to see someone like Chris existing in this timeline. He's an historical figure already and he just mobilized 2 years ago. 2 backbreaking years of organizing, but i cannot wait to see the rest.
His solidarity w Steve Donziger is another cool aspect.

We need to support this brother, it's people like him that gets overlooked and usually gets suppressed. It's just a continued example of corporate greed and power. And corporations hiring union busters is nothing new at all, Amazon is just continuing this process.

A leader doesn't leave his people.
I'm still at my amazon defending my people making sure they aren't abused. THE RIGHT WAY.
He abandoned his. Made money off them. Rocking gold chains n shades driving luxury cars now. Who he helping?

I worked for amazon for the last 2.5 years. I am the top 1% in productivity and quality daily in my building of around 4000 people. What I learned about working for amazon is to never feel comfortable with working there. Use them for the benefits they provide and move on if you can.

Sure but this is a very narrow, individualistic way of looking at it. What about your fellow workers? Where’s your solidarity?

@@dillonv5345 why would I care about my “fellow workers” I’m speaking from experience only. Not hypothetically. Working at this place isn’t about growing or finding a place to belong. It’s very different from any working environment most people are typically use to. If you know you know. At amazon it’s about surviving long enough to rep the benefits they have to offer. This place is extremely labor intensives, and most positions in the building are solo…You start to worry about everyone else and what they do your setting yourself up for failure especially since it’s not your job as an associate.

Wow, must be nauseating to get up daily and go to a job you despise and stay isolated in such an environment you described...which by the way is how Union's are discouraged from happening.
Keep people isolated, afraid they'll lose benefits, and maje sure they understand don't make waves. Industrial abuse. I hope it gets better after the Union gets things going and gets their demand.

@@LivingEmpoweredToday working for amazon is actually easy for me. That’s why I’m top 1 percent. I understand the system to that point that my efforts are almost effortless. I know what I am here for, I perform and go home.

This man needs 24 hour security! They discredited his concerns & underestimated his influence due to his appearance. He’s now a financial threat and an enemy.
Please don’t be like them and underestimate the lengths they will go to silence his voice. May God bless this man.

I am also concerned about his mental health. He must be under enormous emotional strain: he's doing all this while raising a family AND unemployed AND black. That's a lot. I hope that he has access to a therapist.

S/O to Envy for suggesting teaching others, many start businesses but rarely do we see them start teaching/training businesses. In other words, most open a salon(s) versus opening a school to teach others the skill.
