That is the top of the line Classic model 400. What a rare car you have there. Iam old enough to remember that my grandparents had that same model. It was a reliable car that made the trip from NJ to Fla for four years as they were snowbirds. It was traded in for a new 1966 AMC Ambassador. That was a nice car too.
Id gladly take that, i have a 1962 Rambler Classic Custom. I just need to take the engine out to get her running again due to all three spark problems and general piston rings
@@jakevarbelyeah extremely, they were so popular back then but now you can rarely find a single 62 in the wild and parts god you can only find small interior pieces and if ur lucky you can find a windshield
Did you get your engine work done? I'm curious to hear how doing rings went. I've got the 1962 Classic Deluxe. Just got the Flash-O-Matic unstuck. Been sitting since 1975.
@@freemansgarage yeah i never got my engine work done but if you didnt know the distributor moves with the throttle. I still know other things about this car so you can just ask whenever
Thank you! I wish there were more around ! Definitely fun to drive and check it out ! Please like and follow my page if you’d like to see more ! Thank you !
I had a very similar car, same model, colors, with the original aluminum engine and air conditioning. Very few Classics had air, I believe it was about 3%, more Ambassadors were ordered with it. Mine had a bench seat with dual recliners and cloth inserts, your seats recline. Mine also had power brakes and power steering but no radio. Note you have vent windows in the front and rear doors along with floor vents. Great car, enjoy it!

I didn’t know that ! That’s very interesting. The owner of this one bought it from west Texas. Zero rust and still runs great.

That’s awesome ! From what I’ve heard parts are getting hard to find on these !

Love Ramblers. They were very innovative. Nash folding seats, window screens, etc. Youre right not many of these gems around. Thanks for sharing.

@@falcon664 thank you ! I wish it was mine but its actually a customers !
Looks like you got the fancy trim package.
That radio has tubes, so it takes about 10 seconds to warm up. And “Weather Eye” is the heating system.
claimed, mine!!!!!! i'll take it.
It is a pretty sweet car !
Well, it looks like you have some work to do now. I hope it turns out the way you want it to. Good Luck!
Thank you !
#4 cylinder will use oil but the damn clock probably still works
It has the aluminum block engine which is pretty scarce nowadays.
Unfortunately the engine blew up shortly after filming :/
