@@happyhippoeaters4261actually...you're right I didnt even know about MH u til world and I havent watched minecraft vids in so long I never put the 2 together That's just insane
My 2 cents for why Zinogre is so consistently voted so high is simply (drum roll) Japan. Prior to 5th gen, the best selling MH game was P3rd with 4.9 million in sales in Japan alone since it was never localized.
Happy 20th hunters and thank you guys, Josh cotton and hollow, you guys made this series one of my favourite of all time, thank you for introducing me to this incredible community
I feel its important to point out that it's never actually been called white fatalis. In the old games it was just called fatalis in the quests themselves, with white fatalis being the name of its gear. It is however called Old Fatalis in mhgu. Well, the quest for it that you unlock through HR is called old fatalis. They aren't actually considered separate in gu either, only called fatalis in even the hunter notes and considered together towards total hunts. The same actually goes for furious rajang, savage deviljho and raging brachy. They have different icons but have the same name as the base form. (I turned on GU to confirm it for myself, take a look when you get the chance.) Back to old fatty, his materials in gu are called old fatalis shard, cortex, etc.

So as someone who voted for Zinogre here are my reasons: first off as someone who started in world and eventually played older titles, he was my first honest milestone. It took me years to beat him mainly because I gave up and came back but the statement stands. Secondly he became my son’s favorite to the point that he is my most hunted monster in Rise because he had to be on the list of monsters I did when my son was watching me play. I love his design, I love his move set and yes his music is perfection. You seriously can’t beat the electric guitar riff in it that they recently added.
@@whisperingshadowXI you know I didn’t think of that 😅. Regardless I still think his design is good. And the fact that it took them years to design it really shows considering he’s still a viable hunt in the 5th gen
As a rise fleeter I’m sad to see so many of rise’s monsters so low, but I’m also pleasantly surprised with how Magnamalo did! I really thought he’d be bottom ten.
@@G1eatShad0w That is true. I understand why there aren’t that many high up the list, but I do think they deserve just a bit better. But this is a far cry from the hate they got when rise first came out. I would prefer the community never goes through that again…
What's funny is that I did figure out Nibelsnarf from it's tail for one reason: There was this one time I hunted it in 3u YEARS ago where I tried really really hard to cut it's tail because there was one piece of it's armor set I couldn't see and I thought it needed the tail. and from that, I've become familiar with Nibel's tail. Also, not to diss Zinogre of course, I do think it's a great monster, but the BEST? I don't really agree. This honestly feels like way back when we got event hunts in Iceborne for the most and least hunted monsters and Zinogre was the most hunted. the reason for that was because he had a tempered event hunt that was the best for decoration farming, which definitely inflated the numbers and made it feel a bit unfair.
Not sure if that was the hunt but i destinctly remember a zinogre hunt in coral highlands where the other monsters were a savage deviljho and seething bezelgeuse
Zin is a bus sized wolf-dragon hybrid that has a swarm of electronic beetles it uses as living batteries to give itself lightning powers. It also happens to kick your ass with breakdance moves to a metal theme song. He’s pretty much the one monster that’s design was “rule of cool” while still remaining a believable animal within the setting.
Goss did not get enough love for my liking. As a long time hunter I get him being this low given the amount of legacy picks but he has such a malicious charm to him I kinda fell in love with him instantly. I hope he gets some love in the future.
Well i think rise had a lot of weaker monsters, and a lot of the times the more powerful or more impactful fights and stuff like title update monsters get higher. but yeah Gais was peak monster, and pretty much all of the monsters were good.
Honestly what seems to have happened is people who liked Rise/Sunbreak went who is the best of this game? An voted for white malzeno which is a pretty fair choice. Take the list an only have monsters that appeared in rise/sunbreak in it an then ya get a differen picture, no?
I played very little Rise, but Bishaten and Somnacanth are some of the coolest early game monsters in the series, would definetly rank them higher than a lot of the stuff that got more votes than them
The Rise monsters all being so low really makes me sad. They're some of the best monsters we've had in a while IMO. Rakna Kadaki and Almudron are both in the running as some of my favorite Monsters ever.
Well to be fair, as the newest entries, at least 2 monsters got in the top 20 being the most popular for the Rise/Sunbreak fans. The wall is set high for any new game, especially with some many iconic monsters spread across 2 decades. Worlds/Iceborne was in the same situation, but did slightly better. It really goes to show just how many didnt like or play the series, especially base Rise. However it also shows most who played didnt really care for the other monsters as much. It was shocking to see just how low the flagship and final bosses of base Rise placed. I think a lot of that had to do with the game being exclusive to the switch but Sunbreak was available on pc so that helped it a lot. My boy Goss Harag did good for merely being a base monster up against flagships, eldar dragons, and the staples of MH. I didnt expect so many Rise/Sunbreak monsters to be in the bottom 29 spots though
Even though its prety clear Rise is lacking in a lot of ways, I was surprised to see them all so low. The monkey that could throw fruit was really unique and had some funny animations and interactions. Aknosom was my personal favorite.
@@cuddlecakes7153 Bashatan was very unique for 5th gen as primatius or fanged beast were not very prevailent outside of Rajang. I know base Bashatan did decently but its variant form I guess didnt have as much awe factor as the base haha. Aknosom I liked and even found its variant form to be even better so was shocked to see it so low as well.
YES, I DID IT! On a serious note, I think the reason people voted Zinogre is because of the fact that he combines some of the coolest things about monsters in fiction together. People love wolves, lightning, dragons, and detailed ecology, and all that together makes people really like Zinogre. On top of that, he is an absolute unit who can square up to just about anything shy of an Elder Dragon and come out on top, which just cements his awesomeness. He's actually pretty well rounded if you think about it (in terms of his relation with other monsters) with agility on par with much smaller monsters like Odogaron (who we've seen can stand up to much stronger monsters and even Elders with sheer aggression and agility) and strength great enough to come close to monsters like Tigrex. Combine that with him having control over arguably the second most powerful element besides Dragon and you get a really tough creature to contend with. (I think he arguably has the most control over lightning than any other non-elder, with his only rival in that category being Astalos) Heck, in Sunbreak, a normal Zinogre was putting in work against Scorned Magnamalo, an endgame boss who likely hunts Elders (evidenced by the fact that some of his hellfire attacks have dragon energy and the hellfire is a product of the gasses from his digestion. Maybe he just found a dead one or somehow developed a Dragon Sack, which I think is unlikely, but given Magnamalo's aggressiveness and the fact that base Magna has turfs with elders, I would lean more toward him hunting them.) Even though Zinogre lost, he still managed to get in a ton of good hits and even overpowered him for a moment and got Scorned on his back, all before going out like a legend. I think that his warrior nature, combined with the reboot of his appearance in the 5th gen, his core concept of a lightning-wolf-dragon with a symbiotic relationship with Fulgarbugs, the fact that he was a flagship, his theme being an absolute banger, and his name, which just sounds really cool, all worked together to put him in the top spot and I couldn't be happier. There was also a channel called "MonsterSlayer Squad" that had a video (which you guys should totally react to if you haven't already because its really cool) where they took every World/Iceborne monster vs Fatalis's Sea of Flame and Zinogre not only survived, but he decided he was going to get his getback and began attacking Fatalis! Granted, he wouldn't have done much, but it was still awesome.
If Abyssal Lagiacrus came that high on the list that it made the top 12th place and Lagiacrus made it all the way to 3rd place, they might actually take into consideration that people want underwater combat back and actually add it to wilds. Makes sense too since this is literally the wilderness untamed, and there's bound to be at least a semi-aquatic area somehow.
As a Lagiacrus voter, it's time to pop some champagne. As a general man of taste, I'm seeing a LOT of monsters here that would have been done more justice if this had been a ranked-choice vote and not just your singular favorite.
Lagiacrus is absolutely my favorite monster of all time and I’m so glad to see how well he and Abyssal did in this vote. All hail the Lord of the Seas!
Yeah it's very shocking to me I thought magamalo, scorned magamalo and the ice wolf lunagron I think it's name are low though most rise/sunbreak monsters would be higher since they are new.
I think Zinogre won because “break-dancing wolf dragon that uses bugs to go Electric Super Saiyan” is too badass to ignore. I fell in love with Zinogre the moment I saw it, and I still love it even though it’s not my favorite anymore.
Hey Josh, Cotton and Hollow, I freaking love you guys. Thank you so much for all you do and the countless hours of entertainment and enjoyable content. Keep it up. Take care of yourselves as well.
Objective best theme is Ceadues' operatic theme. The first theme that i can recall having actual vocals and the huge hit of nostalgia i get everytime i listen to it just cements it as the best for me
Josh, if you are seeing this I will tell you all the reasons why Zinogre is objectively the best monster. 1. Lightning dog 2. Bad ass music 3. Killer armor 4. Fulger bugs being symbiosis flees to it 5. His spikiness isn’t just for show, it’s to open & close for the fulger bugs to make themselves at home 6. He gives off a royalty presence 7. His color combo all throughout works wonderfully 8. His fighting style screams “I am the dominant Apex predator” 9. In game, you can collect extra materials off of his back 10. He collectively has the best turf war showings in the series 11. Both of His wyvern rides are some if not the best in all of Rise & Sunbreak 12. And on top it all off, he has been around since the 3rd gen Just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean He doesn’t deserve to be #1. And since you are so aggressive about your biased with Brachydios, i’m going to hit you with this reality. My number 1 favorite monster got 10th place here & I would’ve been happy with top 30. It’s OK to love something & share your opinion why you love it but you shouldn’t say everyone else is wrong just because your favorite didn’t get the top spot. It’s honestly embarrassing. Honestly, you should grow some humility. FYI, since you like picking fights on MH i’ll give you 1. Zinogre collectively is my top 30 favorite & Kirin collectively is my top 10 favorite while Brachydios collectively is my top 36 favorite & Malfestio collectively is my top 51 favorite. 😏
Typing this before I finish the video, but I think something that would have been fascinating, is if this vote was built in a way where everyone who participated ranked the entire roster themselves. So like, you vote your favorite as number 1, your least favorite as 229, and then apply those rankings as "points". Then the monster with the least "points" is the community's overall favorite monster. This poll just shows the monster who is the number 1 favorite of the most/least hunters, and I think doing a poll like the one I described could give some really interesting data. Maybe that's something the community can put together somehow?
I'm one of those who voted for lagiacrus, and i'm happy and proud of him getting top 3, and i hope this would be the injection of energy that would make the devs to try everything the got to put him in wilds, but he his TOTALLY the new leviathan coming in now💙⚡
Valstrax, Stygian zinogre and white fatalis are my favorite monsters and the fact they’re all (+ and the variants of valstrax) are over top 33, It’s incredible
cephadrome is the kind of monster of monster that has his own tier called cephadrome. seregios, dahren moran, ukanlos and shogun got relatively high i see that as a win.
Its less that zino has one specific thing that makes it super popular, and moreso that everything zino does is just really good, even at its worst. His shape language is powerful (bear-wolf with horns and scales), and his colors are beautiful (to most). Lightning is just cool on its own, but that way he utilizes lightning through his mutualism with thunderbugs is even cooler. His theme rocks, and his fight is incredibly unique and super fun with moves that are just dripping with personality. His armor looks cool to boot, and his weapons are really cool and pretty strong or even meta for thunder element as well. Zino took like, two years to properly flesh out according to the interviews, and *it shows*, in the best way possible. It's an incredibly well thought out and polished monster, and even if its not my personal favorite, it definitely deserves at least top 10.
Bazelgeuss my favorite, my sole reason that i kept playing MH (my first game) despite at first feeling meh, that glorious bomber badass got me from "Eh this is fine but i id rather play something else" to ".... i ..... I NEED TO HUNT YOU" Also while i hoped he made top 20, the fact he made 52nd tbh is better and pure poetry 😅
I'm severely disappointed that Oltura (the final boss from Stories 2) wasn't even on the list. I know the story games are spin-offs and all that, but they're still part of the franchise, and saying as this is the 20th anniversary ranking, I thought it would at least be on there. Oltura is definitely one of my favorite monsters simply because MHS2 was the first game in the franchise I played. My top 10 would've been Larva Oltura, Normal Oltura, Boltreaver, Ivory Lagiacrus, Nergi, Razewing Rathalos (Another one from Stories 2, but not nearly as wanted as Oltura), Legiana, Seregios, Sand Barioth, and Desert Seltas Queen. These aren't based on the hunt or anything, just purely on looks and possibly a bit of favoritism.
Seeing Aknosom at 185 is both sad cause I adore him but at the same time he's like bottom of my top 5, definitely top 10 though. Diablos at 71 is kinda expected, I know Bloodbath is the best Diablos but till I actually get the chance to fight base Diablos will remain in my top 3. Barioth at 70 is also pretty good I'll say. Definitely my favorite of the three Pseudo Wyverns but my first experience with them was in Iceborne which is when Barioth got super improved! Seeing Rajang at 57 was surprising, B-52 is hilariously fitting, and Deviljho at 40 was pretty surprising too. I dislike seeing psychopath Astalos as low as 45th, Boltreaver at 26 kinda makes up for it though. Almost made top 20!(Thats what I voted for!) Bloodbath Diablos at 36th is fitting I suppose, its top 50 which makes sense so good for him. Hope I can fight him one day. Best Boi Dodogama at 31! Good Job!!!
I felt really bad for Beotodus, cause is without a doubt the best piscine wyvern in the series, just a shame he was introduced in iceborne and so far he's stayed there
I think the main thing with Zinogre is that he is very good so whenever his fanbase explains why he is good others playes are "U know those are some very sound reasons to like him" and thus also start liking him more. Its the quality of the fight combined with how vocal his fans are to win other players for their cause. And over time "Thunder Puppy, Best Puppy" just became the norm everyone accepted and no one dared to challenge.
I was extremely happy with the results Stygian Zinogre is my favorite, with normal Zinogre being second. Also sorry Josh, Zinogre is definitely winning the themes, even tho my vote goes to astalos
I personally think the zinogre placement comes from the Japanese side of the vote, portible 3rd was the most popular game before world and is distinctly Japanese, and he's that's game Flagship so he's gonna get a huge portion of the Japanese vote
Why is Zinogre so cool? Simple: ITS A HUGE BUFF DRAGON WOLF THAT CAN CONTROL LIGHTNING AND CAN GO SUPER SAIYAN WHILE ALSO HAVING A THEME SONG THATS LITERALLY A GUITAR SOLO!!! I hope that answers some questions.
Me i did it, i voted for Cephadrome. He's not my favorite but I have a major soft spot for him tbh because I genuinely adore his hammerhead shark/diplocalus style head and I really like him as a concept and think he could amazing with a new gen style reboot, he's one of my most wanted monsters for Wilds because of this.
Also, while you might hate zinogre, the fight you guys at with it, plus the convo you had surrounding it about impregnating trees, and it's death was one of the most hilarious fight videos you've released to date.
As someone who got into the game during world. Zinorgre became my favorite the moment I faught it. The music. The howl. The design. It’s all just so epic. Even the name is cool as hell.
Zinogre feels like a fitting "best monster" and overall I'm glad, personally I'm not a massive fan but I'm also not mad about it. - Zinogre has been around for ~15 years now and he's always had a good fight. A lot of other "old guard" monsters usually have bad fights until a specific generation or they're only good in master rank or they have a really bad showing in a generation but Zinogre has always had a really good fight whether he's in low rank or master rank, old style gen or new style gen. This is probably one of the biggest reasons why I'm glad Zinogre is our popular flagship and not say, Rathalos for example because even if Zinogre may be overrated even the biggest Zinogre hater can't say his fight is actively bad. - Zinogre's ecology is probably one of the most fleshed out and "realistic" ones, Zinogre feels like he could be a real creature, more than most Monster Hunter monsters. - Zinogre's armor and weapons is always cool. - Zinogre doesn't have any worn out subspecies, he's got a complete element swap to an unpopular element and an elder dragon power level tier deviant. If there was stuff like Aquamarine Zinogre or Fire Zinogre I'm certain Zinogre wouldn't be as beloved as he is but Capcom is surprisingly tame with him. - Zinogre's also got a good theme, it's very memorable and hummable and also relatively unique for Monster Hunter themes.
I can't actually pick a fovourite monster because there are so many great ones. Depending on my mood it's Rakna-Kadaki, Zamtrios, Seregios, Primordial Malzeno, Raging Brachy, Ebony Odogaron or Seregios
I think the reason Zinogre is the favorite boils down to a few things. 1. One of the greatest themes in the franchise 2. Fast paced and fair fight 3. Cool phase change 4. Complimentary color scheme 5. People like wolves 6. Lightning wolf is an amazing concept and Zinogre pulls it off amazingly. Now my favorite monster is Lagiacrus, any of them, but Zinogre is a phenomenal monster
159th for Garangolm... that hurts. He's legit in contention for my favorite, between it and Lagiacrus (Ivory specifically due to color scheme). I voted Ivory Lagi, since it felt like the more forgotten monster, but damn. I wish I had voted for Garangolm now
I started playing Mon Hun with Tri when, and after that I used their wiki to figure out there was a massive universe of monsters. This is how I fell in love with huge monsters like Laviente and Amatsu, so I fully believe that some of these votes (like for yama tsukami) came from people who read about the monster but haven't faced it yet in the hopes that one day they may get to in the future. I was ecstatic when I got to face Espinas in rise!
Just throwing my hat into the ring of saying, thank you Josh and Cotton for bringing us so much entertainment, I won't lie, I don't play much monster hunter, I played iceborne to the guiding lands and aren't halfway through suncream, but watching you two play monster hunter makes me respect the series, and I cannot wait to watch proob play through wilds.

Say you have a pet wolf... but it has a beaver tail. And when it gets pissed it goes super saiya-jin and starts breakdancing apart your house.
You wouldn't be happy, but you'd have to admit it was the coolest thing you've ever seen in your life.

Zinogre’s popularity is not at all surprising to me. He’s a giant, neon-accented wolf with a symbiotic relationship with a species of lightning insect. He was the first fanged wyvern, has a fantastic electric guitar theme. He’s not my favorite or necessarily in my top 10, but it’s easy to see where his popularity lies.

Cotton is wrong. The theme that is going to win is of course. The khezu theme. It can't be anything else xD
i tried to vote for it, there is no vote button under it XD

Gotta remember if you were a western fan you had to wait a while before zinogre was available to fight, it let the hype build
You also got the furries voting for Zinogre. Don't get me wrong, I like the thunder wolf puppy too, but that's the real reason he's at the top.
@@whisperingshadowXI you know I didn’t think of that 😅. Regardless I still think his design is good. And the fact that it took them years to design it really shows considering he’s still a viable hunt in the 5th gen
@@whisperingshadowXIthanks for ruining zinogre for me 😂
As a rise fleeter I’m sad to see so many of rise’s monsters so low, but I’m also pleasantly surprised with how Magnamalo did! I really thought he’d be bottom ten.
It is a shame, I don’t love every rise original but there are so many great ones that deserve to be higher. At least Primordial made a deep run.
@@G1eatShad0w That is true. I understand why there aren’t that many high up the list, but I do think they deserve just a bit better. But this is a far cry from the hate they got when rise first came out. I would prefer the community never goes through that again…
Ahh Anjanath just missed the top 100 my fiery t-rex.
Although i am sad about that, there are a lot of worse spots it could have been. Lets celebrate that it got close
Lagi number 3! Woo!
I'm so looking forward to this! I'll watch it tomorrow, as I'm currently busy.
Goss did not get enough love for my liking. As a long time hunter I get him being this low given the amount of legacy picks but he has such a malicious charm to him I kinda fell in love with him instantly. I hope he gets some love in the future.
So many sunbreak/rise monsters deserved higher.
Goss Harag in the 90s is not what I expected
Well i think rise had a lot of weaker monsters, and a lot of the times the more powerful or more impactful fights and stuff like title update monsters get higher. but yeah Gais was peak monster, and pretty much all of the monsters were good.
I loved Lunagaron.... seeing it at 87 hurts a little jaja
3:10- They've gotta be hinting about underwater combat coming back.
(I think he arguably has the most control over lightning than any other non-elder, with his only rival in that category being Astalos)
Heck, in Sunbreak, a normal Zinogre was putting in work against Scorned Magnamalo, an endgame boss who likely hunts Elders (evidenced by the fact that some of his hellfire attacks have dragon energy and the hellfire is a product of the gasses from his digestion.
Goddammit Zino...ill get you one day! ONE DAY!!
...i take this however as a win for the Thunder Element Gang. And, jokes aside, Zino is nice.
Suddenly seeing you pop up in my feed and realizing “oh shit it’s the Minecraft Quick Build challenge guy” made my day lol
As for the BGM vote, I'm gonna once again fly my Tri flag and vote for Ceadeus.
Lagiacrus is absolutely my favorite monster of all time and I’m so glad to see how well he and Abyssal did in this vote.
All hail the Lord of the Seas!
Abyssal rocks! Black and Neon Blue is an unbeatable colourscheme.
32:45 Odogaron is in the danger zone of being flung around by angry pickles.
I love the Rise/Sunbreak monsters and the games in general. A shame so many of them, save for like Malzeno and Magnamalo, didn’t do well.
Yeah it's very shocking to me I thought magamalo, scorned magamalo and the ice wolf lunagron I think it's name are low though most rise/sunbreak monsters would be higher since they are new.
What? Cephadrome overtakes Ibushi of all things?! I feel so sad for the floaty wind serpent 😅
Zinogre's mount theme specifically absolutely slaps. I will die on this hill or others will die in my way.
I’m right there with you friend, it’s time to RIDE ON
I think Zinogre won because “break-dancing wolf dragon that uses bugs to go Electric Super Saiyan” is too badass to ignore. I fell in love with Zinogre the moment I saw it, and I still love it even though it’s not my favorite anymore.
Excited to see Cotton's heart die with the Duramboros rankings as a Zamtrios fanboy we cry together Cotton
Hey Josh, Cotton and Hollow, I freaking love you guys. Thank you so much for all you do and the countless hours of entertainment and enjoyable content. Keep it up. Take care of yourselves as well.
Objective best theme is Ceadues' operatic theme. The first theme that i can recall having actual vocals and the huge hit of nostalgia i get everytime i listen to it just cements it as the best for me
Can't help but feel like Deviljho would have gotten more votes if it had just manned up and finished off the handler in world when it was introduced
Josh, if you are seeing this I will tell you all the reasons why Zinogre is objectively the best monster.
1. Lightning dog
2. Bad ass music
3. Killer armor
4. Fulger bugs being symbiosis flees to it
5. His spikiness isn’t just for show, it’s to open & close for the fulger bugs to make themselves at home
6. He gives off a royalty presence
7. His color combo all throughout works wonderfully
8. His fighting style screams “I am the dominant Apex predator”
9. In game, you can collect extra materials off of his back
10. He collectively has the best turf war showings in the series
11. Both of His wyvern rides are some if not the best in all of Rise & Sunbreak
12. And on top it all off, he has been around since the 3rd gen
Just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean He doesn’t deserve to be #1. 😏
That odogaron is having a really bad day being between regular and savage deviljho

We didn’t want Bazelgeuse for first, we needed him at 52nd for this joke
Almost an hour long video, love it!
Surprised to see Bazelgeuse and Seething Bazelgeuse so high, they're my favorites, most people i see find them annoying.
Bazelgeuss my favorite, my sole reason that i kept playing MH (my first game) despite at first feeling meh, that glorious bomber badass got me from "Eh this is fine but i id rather play something else" to ".... i ..... I NEED TO HUNT YOU"
Also while i hoped he made top 20, the fact he made 52nd tbh is better and pure poetry 😅
yeah when I saw that I almost died, as a bazelgeuse fan myself it was just too perfect seeing him placed their.
Sad to see magnamalo ranked low, but he's still my favourite monster
I've been waiting for this video for a loooooong time.
Thanks you two you have made my night
Thank
Do you think you guys will do another (or maybe even a set) of those guest trivia episodes soon to mark this?
Almost made top 20!(Thats what I voted for!)
Bloodbath Diablos at 36th is fitting I suppose, its top 50 which makes sense so good for him. Hope I can fight him one day.
Best Boi Dodogama at 31! Good Job!!!
I felt really bad for Beotodus, cause is without a doubt the best piscine wyvern in the series, just a shame he was introduced in iceborne and so far he's stayed there
I think what really helped Zinogre as 1st is its music. The music is a big part of it and especially when you mount it it changes to hype drums.
Due to world based mechanics I find it hilarious that ody is between the two jhos forever the hungry pickles chew toy
If Bazel isn't in top 5 of bgm themed I will probably cry ;-;
I was extremely happy with the results Stygian Zinogre is my favorite, with normal Zinogre being second. Also sorry Josh, Zinogre is definitely winning the themes, even tho my vote goes to astalos
amazing video as always ❤
I was surprised that the original Monster Hunter logo featured Rathian and not Rathalos since he was the technical flagship of the game.
Still insanely overrated
Bonus point: it's Hunting Horn is one of the few that looks and sounds like an electric guitar
@@Colton42-d7b Unfortunately the people that voted for him think otherwise
Me i did it, i voted for Cephadrome. He's not my favorite but I have a major soft spot for him tbh because I genuinely adore his hammerhead shark/diplocalus style head and I really like him as a concept and think he could amazing with a new gen style reboot, he's one of my most wanted monsters for Wilds because of this.
4 of my top 5 made it into the top 10 so im pretty happy with the list. 5. Zinogre 4. Nergigante 3. Prim. Malzeno 2. Velkhana 1. Alatreon
Also, while you might hate zinogre, the fight you guys at with it, plus the convo you had surrounding it about impregnating trees, and it's death was one of the most hilarious fight videos you've released to date.
The amount of times I was reminded of the existence of some of the monsters on this list. Just like " wait when did- oh I remember now."
As someone who got into the game during world. Zinorgre became my favorite the moment I faught it. The music. The howl. The design. It’s all just so epic. Even the name is cool as hell.
Namielle was my favorite Elder, glad it got some good recognition
1. One of the greatest themes in the franchise
2. Fast paced and fair fight
3. Cool phase change
4. Complimentary color scheme
5. People like wolves
6. Lightning wolf is an amazing concept and Zinogre pulls it off amazingly.
Now my favorite monster is Lagiacrus, any of them, but Zinogre is a phenomenal monster
I'm glad to hear the "Grandpa Rathalos" joke return 28:25
The fact that both Josh and Cotton, who pretty much play Monster Hunter for a living, forgot about Steel Uragaan.
Zinogre also has some of the best music in addition to roars, his howls play into his theme well
159th for Garangolm...
