Brilliant way to buy a boat. Find one that has bottomed out in pricing and is well used, have Setag refurbish it and you now have a boat with a rising value and all the benefits of a new boat with none of those nagging price drops and warranty claims. And if you find a Setag refurb on the market, it's an easy pay and enjoy yacht. Thanks Nick and a big "Way To Go Setag" job well done everyone!.
What a lovely boat! It's very roomy for it's size, and perfect for our northern weather conditions. It's been tastefully modernised. Another great find!
Wonderfully spacious layout for just under 40' - very impressive indeed. I think the owner made exactly the right call - buy the boat for its brilliant floorplan, then customise the interior. Love this - particularly the aft cabin windows.
We love seeing the massive yachts and all the new yachts that come out. But it's always fun seeing used yachts that begin to fall to prices that a lot of people can afford if they really want the yacht life. Dreams can suddenly become plans!
i like that. The change of decor has transformed it. I'd have loads of fun ripping one out and doing all the changes, making it how I want it. Nice, traditional boat though
This could be a legitimate liveaboard, which is pretty darn remarkable for a 37' boat. Both cabins are well-appointed and fitted with queen berths and ensuites, and the saloon area is fantastic! Lots and lots of storage dotted about the place too, which makes the liveaboard idea more plausible. The Setag refit is sort of the cherry on top. Yachts like this one are refreshing to see, because it goes to show that truly decent accommodation can be found without having to spend a fortune (relatively speaking), and is still an achievable dream for many.
Nick you're one of the most cheerful people I've seen on youtube full stop. I'd love to have the pleasure of meeting you someday. Unfortunately, I live in Kansas. lolz.
Love these. Not sure they are appropriate for US weather and seas. But I love them. The would work well on the Great Lakes. I am just stunned what Seatag has done. That is so tasteful. It really could be a new boat.
It just goes to show how you can refresh an interior or design with great results, shame no picture of the interior before but goes to show what’s possible. A cracking find.
Well done to Seatag, and the Owners for this wonderful 'refit'.Once inside you'd never think it's 11 years old.A lovely 'live-aboard',or long season cruiser.I even noticed the drawer fridge under the pilot seat.
That was absolutely beautiful! Absolutely beautiful boat, for a small family or a couple is absolutely perfect! Have everything you need for the size.... Nothing more, nothing less.... Just perfect.... Even perfect to live in all year long! Simply perfect! ❤
@@AQUAHOLIC I absolutely love it.... Is absolutely impossible dislike the boats as you present them because you are too good doing this! As I read time ago on the comments: "You are the David Attenborough of the yatchs" .... That's precisely what I feel when I watch your videos! Well done Nick! As always! 👍♥️
That’s easily the nicest Broom I’ve seen - well done SeaTag and the owners. If Broom were still building boats, I’d imagine their design team would learn a lot. Instead they’re into hire boats and a pub on the Broads!
There’s a lot packed into this 37 footer and with the upgrades it’s quite nice: The. off shore capabilities as well as river cruising provide a lot of options for some great getaways Thank you Nick for the detailed tour
Hi Nick, Now that nice to see a Broom back on your channel again thats a little while ago, this Broom 370 and it looks very nice and they did a view great upgrades i love this type of boats even this one made out of grp i am dutch more in a steel boat whay i like 2 sleeping cabines both with a bathroom nice and bright salon and galley Thanks again Nick what a show and a great start of this week ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Again a wonderful video! The interior is really nothing you'd expect from the outside. Very special. I wonder what's the ratio between the cost of the boat and the cost of the refit. 50:50? I'd like to see a series, where you follow an owner's journey from choosing a boat and getting it setag'd.
Wow that is a really buyable boat...I totally love it! When your video popped up Nick I got so excited I had to open another packet of crisps. This is a really fab boat.....I would definitely buy this boat. One thing i'd love to know is whether the berth windows are one way view or whether they were two way view. I really love this boat. Awesome berths and beautiful helm etc....I love it!!
Always love a broom. Out of all of them I have seen this is by far the best, Setag are amazing in refreshing a boat and a refit really helps to renew the boat. Great tour thanks Nick!
What a super job done on this boat from setag👌I actually only thought they only worked on princess, fairline and sunseekers. Obviously not. Lovely boat.
We can apply our expertise to any brand 😁As our teams pervious experience was from Princess, Fairline & Sunseeker we stuck to these 3 in the early days but now we've refurbished over 9 different brands including Brooms, Sealine, Prestige, Hunton, Beneteau...etc 🤩
You always review some amazing boats, but I 100% could see myself buying that one. It is utterly perfect for what my wife and I do....huge congrats to the owners for the work they put into her.
That's a nice example from a builder which didn't have the following it shouLd have, but the owners of these Broom yachts are usually fanatical about them, and while, as you say, they may not be cutting edge, they are a good product worthy of their praise. By pure coincidence, I was in Anstruther on Monday and saw a Broom moored in the inner harbour. It was badgeless, but looked classic Broom to me, of the older more angular style, which I actually prefer. I think its name was the giveaway as it was called "BRROOOOMMBRROOOOMM"! A family friend had a large Broom in the '80s, and was preparing to cruise the West Coast of Scotland for a couple of weeks. He called past our mooring and said he had decided to return to the marina for repairs , so was delaying his departure. My dad asked him what had gone wrong and he said his wife was unhappy because one of the microwave ovens was faulty...
The fact that it's so useful makes it look a bit like a VW LT28 from the eighties. But inside it looks properly modern. I'm really very impressed with this one. Would be great to sail some of UK's rivers and then pop over to Europe and travel on Dutch, Belgian and German rivers and canals. Thanks for the tour!
Our family had a birch wood president 37 and we moored brundle the home of broom. We quite often found the engineers taking dimensions etc. lovely boats. Thanks Nick for a trip down memory lane.
Now that's a boat I like to see ! Handy, well sized, clean...designed exactly for its purpose with everything necessary ! Thanks for that great video !
I love what Setag have done with a fairly unpromising boat. I'm starting to come round to aft cabin layouts, so it would be interesting to see Setag tackle a Linssen.
This is what i call a realistic and usefull use of space for accomodations.... It fits my way to imagine a boat as a temporarly living space, and not as day-boat that can be sometimes used for1 or 2 nights.... Unfortunaltly, as usual on that kind of boat thought with the living space on mind, you can miss a bit of a luxury touch.... Depending on your expectations on that particular point.... I personnaly don't miss it. And look at how much boat you can get for the price ! I love that kind of stuff, : when practical products also have a very good looking. Who really needs all that plenty of sunbeding areas, or drinking areas, you see on the others boats ? Or a 3 meter scare loo for every guest ? Probably a nice and huge market for compagnies reffiting yaghting boats from that decade....
Very impressive! Such a nice versatile well appointed yacht. Would be perfect for the Great Loop in the states. Thanks for pointing out all the cushion, wall and headliner upgrades. As always a thorough and thoughtful walk around.
Wow! - what a set of upgrades! This boat is lovely; I love the brightness and style. So much space for a small boat. Love the design, for 2 people it would be a dream! Thanks Nick for the tour!
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but considering that I normally don't like the aft cabin river boat type this one I like, mainly as it's more offshore capable but what a stunning job Setag have done(would have been nice to have seen before photos) and I like the layout for a sub 40ft boat. An interesting find there Nick thanks for the tour all the best from Cornwall 🤗👌🖖
A very nice 2+ 2 at least ! And has some legs . Somewhat out or my reach at the moment :-) Yet so very practical . Am limiting wild parties in my life . Be nice to cruise with a couple of friends , or go solo . Not too big . I would be out in it as often as possible . The galley would fit me like a glove , maybe for freezer space ? It is an honey ! Tks .

Very nice, really like the upgrades. This would be a great live aboard. If I was to use it as such, I think I'd want to completely redo the forward cabin into more of a utility space. Maybe with a small washer/dryer. I absolutely love the windows in the aft cabin. That's what really makes this style boat, for me. Thanks for showing us this lovely boat.

Incredibly inviting inside! Perfect for a rainy English day

Indeed! I would not want have to do any work down in the engine room, though. That's how they make the boat so roomy for its size.

I LOVE the upside down cup reading "If you can read this I have capsized" in the galley tour :P
Hahaha I was surprised Nick didn’t point that out on the video 😂
You picked a right type of boat to film for us during the rain. Imagine filming some open dayboat or a sportscruiser in that weather.
perfect cottage on the water

Love the bigger brooms and that refit has the boat upto modern standards
Thank you 😀
That feels like a lot of boat in 37ft, not quite open living to the waters edge but huge amount of contemporary space
yeah that white interior does make the boat open a lot! Owners did a great job on it! 👍👍
Nice job by the owners. Great interior that overshadows what you say and I agree is a slightly dated exterior. Seatag rock another one!!!!
Thank you 😃
What a lovely refit - just the right amount, all blends in beautifully.
Thank you! 😃

A floating advertisement for SeaTag, even moreso than for Broome. The asking price is a bit of a surprise, given the fit & finish.
