Materials:
Socks
Embroidery Floss
Blue Jean Material
Velcro
A needle and thread
A piece of white chalk
Yasmin's Jeans
1. Cut a rectangle of blue jean fabric that can fit around the doll's
leg
2. Hold over the top and bottom for the hem
3. Wrap the fabric around the side of the doll
4. Using a piece of chalk draw a line for the in seam, pitching the
fabric around the leg and then continue going the down on the
leg
5. Turn over and repeat on the other side
6. Cut on the outside of the white line, leave a little extra for the
seam alliance
7. With good side to good side, place it on the other rectangle of
fabric and then use chalk to trace it
8. Cut it out to make two
9. Place the jean fabric good side to good side and sew a straight
connecting the two pieces at the top
10. Open up the fabric and begin stitches on details
11. Turn it over and hem the bottom
12. With the good side facing up, folder over and half way stitch the
side
13. Open from the bottom and make a flap
14. Sew a line from one side to the other
15. Then turn them right side out
16. Sew the velcro on, so it overlaps to close the pants
17. Run over with a nail file to a little worn
18. Congrats! You Did it!
Yasmin's Sweater
1. Cut off the top of the baby sock and then cut the side to open it
flat.
2. Fold it over and hem at the top
3. Turn it upside down with the good side facing down
4. Wrap it around Yasmin
5. Sew up a straight line in the back and then cut off the access
6. Turn it right outside out to make the top
7. Cut another sock on the side of the finished edge
8. Make two small cuts, one on each side.
9. Use a pencil to lightly sketch the design and then stitch over it
with thread.
10. To make the fringe, use the needle to attach the thread along the
raw edges.
11. Make a loop, tie a knot, and trim it even.
12. Stitch the top corners together.
13. Put the sweater on Yasmin feet first.
