Experience the historic Hotel St. Nicholas and enjoy an elegant 1898 mountain bed and breakfast.
The Hotel building, now over 122 years old, was originally built as a hospital for gold prospectors and miners who flooded the town of Cripple Creek, Colorado. The Hotel, listed on the National Historic Register, sits atop the historic hilltop district and offers a panoramic view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and downtown Cripple Creek.
Quietly located just two blocks from Cripple Creek casinos and historic attractions, guests may enjoy relaxing in the in-door dry sauna or retreating to one of our 15 elegant rooms.
All rooms are uniquely appointed to capture the atmosphere of turn-of-the-century Cripple Creek. Two premium rooms are available with either a sitting room or balcony. Deluxe Rooms (1, 4, 7) have in-room refrigerators, microwaves, and Kuerig coffee makers. All rooms include private bath, wireless Internet access, and cable TV.
In the afternoon savor the clean mountain air on the patio, or visit our Boiler Room Tavern in the evening for a nightcap.
Have you ever stayed at the Hotel St. Nicholas in Cripple Creek? If so did you witness any paranormal activity?
Just one more thing. I really do appreciate you guys posting like this. You guys are showing me things that I need to go see when I do get up there. Thank you guys so very much. If I ever meet you guys drinks are on me.
We are glad you enjoy it BBQ. Yeah if you’re in our neck of the woods we need to hook up for sure bro.
This looks like a beautiful hotel with character.
Yes it has alot of character and history for sure..
That was the coolest video ever!! Loved the end!!! NO!!! LOL
Lol!!Thank you, we enjoyed our visit there, very peaceful, and the caretaker gave us a tour of the place.
Have not been to Cripple Creek since I was a kid in the late 60's to the early 70's. That is a creepy looking "hotel", inside and out.
Hello Mr.Snead. Yes this hotel has a very creepy vibe day or night. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was preserved well from its hospital days.
Going to be there next month.....
Nice….. yes I’m planning on going back this year for sure…
My girlfriend and I had an experience at the hospitality house up there as well last year. Great place!
@@joshuawatkins4324 oh cool, that’s a nice place, but yeah it would have the same potential for paranormal activity as other place since it was once a Hosptial
While watching the video I couldn't help but notice the clicking in the video. I am from a small mining town in Colorado and a fun fact is Morse code was often used in mining and that clicking seemed very much like Morse code. I'll have to slow the video down a little bit but I could take some time to see if anything in Morse code shows up. But in one snippet I think I picked up "Eat Dinner" in dits and dahs. I'm definitely interested now tho
Wow! That’s so awesome! I’m glad you brought that to our attention. If you discover anything please don’t hesitate to let us know. Again thank you so much for this info! 👍
Another tease……I once stayed at Hotel Jerome in Aspen. Y’all should check that place out…… I will not spoil it for you, but if you’re in Colorado already just go up through the pass go to Aspen
We’ve heard of that hotel, but will have to check it out for sure when our travel season starts again in the Spring…
@@thecoloradotravelers7212 Aspen is a beautiful little town. Chock-full of old west history as well.
Did ya’ll have any experiences overnight? My partner and I are staying there this weekend and we’re staying in room #11, the surgery room.
Honestly we didn’t have anything worth mentioning, but we plan on going back this summer and staying in Rm11 and conducting a more formal investigation. We just like going to hang out at St. Nicholas Hotel…
@@thecoloradotravelers7212 It looks great, we’re very excited! Have you been to the Outlaw and Lawmen Jail museum there in Cripple Creek? Real cool place to visit. A small team and I rented it out for an overnight private investigation. Definitely worth checking out next time you’re there if you haven’t already.
@BeerMeDwight you know we’ve never investigated it, been there plenty of times though. The jail would be a cool place to investigate. Did you get a lot of activity? That would be a good one for sure.
@@thecoloradotravelers7212 We did get a couple EVPs but nothing too substantial. I have a few friends who got some pretty decent stuff from there though.
Ol’ Stinky done shut you down, huh? Hmmm.
When I get my money straight, I’m gonna tour those mining towns…spend about a month going around, staying in the oldest hotels, eating the best food and you know we gonna gamble!!$
Yeah ol’stinky got me good…. Lmao. We want to hit up this place again, and do a proper investigation. Hopefully we have time to fit it in next summer.
