I'm surprised, because I know that IGA can execute good drop shots, decent slices and net play, she did it very well in juniors and at the start of her pro career. It's odd that she barely use it now. Anyway, Yulia fully deserved that win, She mopped the floor with her opponent.
It's not odd that she stopped using drop shots. In many ways it has been the key to her many successes in the last two and a half years. One defeat on grass against an inspired opponent doesn't change anything. Watch out for Iga at the Olympics and on the US hardcourts
When her game changed from natural style that made her beat Halep at the French Open I stopped cheering her on. I believe she would be winning more with her natural or should I say original style, plus her love for the game has diminished since they made her into a "machine".

You cannot say you won it and she had not part in losing it when clearly she was mentally having a breakdown and not keeping it together.
