Thank you so much for this video! I'm getting 3 for my sisters and I'm new to building book nook kits - and getting this exact one, as a matter of fact! I wasn't sure what kind of glue to use and seeing that you used painters tape to hold the pieces together while they dried, was very helpful, also, as was the trough for the wires. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video!! I will be referring back to it as I build my kit.
Thank you! I'm so glad you found it helpful! I did use Gorilla Glue Gel on some parts as well like the signs since they can easily be broken off. If you can, try to get the printed signs on that paper copied in reverse so they look right in the mirror. Any Fedex or Office Depot can do it for you.
The mirror trick has been used on model railroads to enhance apparent the size of them. John Allen's Gorre & Dephetid is probably the most famous use of it. Amazing model railroad.
Looks really cool! I’ve seen a few UA-cam vids on building them from scratch. Need a lot of imagination. I also saw one where they put a cellphone inside for the mirror to catch the image. Was ghost themed! Very cool though. Thanks again for sharing!

Oh! Very interesting! I love how it messes with the perspective!
I’m getting ready to work on my third. The wood from the cutebee kit was exceptional! Rolife kits are sweet too.
Yes the Cutebee kits are great! I haven't built a bad one yet though. 😁
