As someone who's lived here for 46 years, I would say parts of it are beautiful, parts that are usually filmed and shown to outsiders. There is so much that is not so pretty. And of course, we are dying out.
Gardens aren’t common in New York City but very common in the rest of America, ok maybe not Los Angeles proper but still. You see gardens of all sorts. I’ve got rare Asian plants in my backyard and some that are very exclusive to certain areas of Asia. I also have an herb garden that’s pretty large. The point is look before and you’ll understand a bit better.
Beautiful video. It's a pity that you didn't have more time to visit more of Croatia. I hope you enjoyed it and that you will come back many more times. Thank you for visiting and presenting this little piece of Croatia Mary Jane. I recommend looking at how Americans who have lived in Japan for years experienced Croatia. The coast is best visited during the season, and the interior at any time. www.youtube.com/@kydeanderic/search?query=croatia
Beautifully made video music and all. Enjoyed it Wondered if you wandered southward to hear the sea organs (morske orgnije) of Zadar. Remember an earlier video of yours listening to the sounds of subways coming up through the Manhattan sideway air vent grating. Kinda similiar :)
Croatia is nice just it still bears the scars from it own war of independence and it’s Soviet past. It’s gotten better though. You do see a lot of immigrants from there in America who keep to themselves just trying to get through a day. Chicago had the highest number of those immigrants who lost family or fought in the war or both. Some just ran leaving everything behind. Unfortunately although these people can go back many choose not to for many reasons. I knew of a few of the kids in school whose parents ran or did something In Croatia. It was hard on them as they didn’t have much and what they did have was dirty or something else. Everyone got money together to get clothes or whatever they needed and helped the families adjust to a new place. The teachers actually banded together to help the parents get English classes and get jobs that suited their skills.
Beautiful country. If you visit the Istria region, you will find two Latin communities there- Istriots and Istroromanians who number in the few hundreds. Their languages will likely be extinct in less than a century from now. Dalmation was also a Romance language spoken there that died out in 1898. Italy lost Istria in 1945 when the peninsula became part of Croatia.
I watched the video of this girl who is certainly of Serbian origin and presents the history of RS and Croatia as if other peoples and nationalities do not live there. I know who and what BiH is, which is my country, and I feel and above all I see who wants it bad like this toy tuber. In all the videos about BiH, she said that she hates BiH, i.e. Muslims, and she showed Banja Luka, not pretending to any other country like Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zrnica, Mostar, so it is obvious that he knows the conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its history, where he does not mention the most numerous people, i.e. Muslims, showing that he is above all a great nationalist and hater of Bosnia and Herzegovina as such. I would ask you not to give likes and support to those who hate other peoples where this UA-camr shows it. He falsely presents himself, he is a foreigner, and from his slurred speech it is obvious that he is from the area of the former Yugoslavia, and that he is a hater of everything that is not Serbia.
Wow. Croatia is simply beautiful.

incredibly beautiful scenery
Everyone who visits Croatia and Montenegro loves these two countries. Mountainous and beautiful beaches. Brings back memories. Enjoy.

Croatia never had a "Soviet past". Yugoslavia and the Soviets were greater enemies than USA and Soviets
not "soviet" past tho...
You're right, in the US Pesto on all sandwiches!
Ahahah we should learn from you, such a good use for pesto too!
7:08 love it!
