This time we have Sonic stuck in some chains at the bottom of the Labyrinth Zone in the underwater mines. Sonic The Hedgehog is desperately fighting for his life and will do anything in his power not to die while waiting for someone to save him. Tails and Amy where are you guys at? This is kind of like a creepypasta. He pretty much became like a zombie Sonic. Will Sonic be able to break free or will he eventually give up? Let's find out.

Game Note by ItoSaihara: Sink is an "exe" that doesn't fall under the typical standards an average exe comes down to. Sonic is not corrupted or possessed by some demon. Sonic The Hedgehog is simply just a Sonic who got caught up in a series of unfortunate circumstances. Battered and bruised, got himself caught inside the chains of an underwater mine, trapped with no air insight. Sonic drowned and sunk to the bottom of the Labyrinth Zone. Due to his sheer willpower, much to his dismay, he is able to somehow still 'survive'. He's essentially like a zombified sonic / zombie Sonic, trapped inside a never-ending state of pain, suffering, and loneliness. Sonic doesn't know how long he's been trapped down there, endlessly waiting for SOMETHING that can save him from his agony. Days, weeks, years, decades. All he can do is wait in pain... sink.exe creepypasta

It’s interesting how you can beat the song without even playing, it shows that the whole song is pointless anyway as no matter if you struggle and fight or not by the end your still stuck there
It also just makes sense. like how do you even do a game over screen for someone that's immortal and already in pain and suffering? You really can't, which is well thought out.

Sonic cannot die, whether he wants to or not. So he just keeps pushing for someone to find him. He can't save himself and he can't die, it's his endless torment.
Notice how sonic’s singing doesn’t create any air bubbles, his lungs, and all of his insides are already filled with water, but being somewhat alive he feels the pain of drowning endlessly. Now imagine having to talk or sing when you’re out breath, feel the pain? It’s what he feels throughout the song

I love how at 2:50 how he stops singing, as if his body is about to cave in and accept his fate, and he sits in silence, but his “reflection” sings, as to try to fight the pain, and to give him hope of escape. It gets me everytime

Oh god, I just realized. If you look at him, that’s not classic. He’s taller, with a darkened color to his fur. Which means that we are playing him after he’s already been down there for the equivalent of a couple years.

@nexus The reason why its more horrifying this way is because he’s been down there since he was Classic Sonic, meaning he’s been down there decades suffering and waiting for someone to help him. Also since he’s been down there the whole time he couldn’t learn spin dash or anything and his body is definitely weakened after being in the water for so long so he can’t escape at all. He’s just stuck there for eternity
It isn’t his legs and arms are like that because of for years of stretching his arms around and caring the weight of a metal ball the darkened fur is water tinting the water and sonic 1 fur + labyrinth isn’t the cleanest water place we are playing him probably between CD & 2

Amazing how many people don't realize that oxygen deprivation keeps you from thinking clearly. It's easy to say "Just do X" when you're not panicking from lack of air. Drowning people don't go "Oh, I should just stay calm and do X/Y/Z and I'll be fine." It's more like "OH GOD I'M GOING TO DIE", accompanied by wild flailing. You know, just like Sonic's doing.

the sheer UN-luck that sonic would have to get to stumble and get trapped in the ONE mine that has an extended chain, (the ones in the background have only a single loop, while the one Sonic is stuck on has an actual lengthened chain) is unbearably terrifying.
Yeah sonic somehow got into the chains just in time that it clamped into his leg when it broke
This song is amazing for multiple reasons, for one the mechanic that you dont even have to play the song as it is all inevitable anyway is really unique. Also the labyrinth zone theme and background really hits close to home, having had many frustrating deaths in the zone, before. I also REALLY REALLY like the fact that the song seems to end multiple times before starting back up again making it seem like sonic drowned and came back to life again for more only to do it all over again. The feeling of inevitability and sadness REALLY remind me of the starving artist, ben drowned, lost silver, and kinda even garcello. All in all it is a REALLY neat concept and I hope to see more great sonic themed fnf levels like this 👌👍
I actually like the backstory in this mod since it gave me chills just thinking of how long Sonic must be constantly drowning, and just stuck to the ruins as everyone just goes on with their day on the surface not even knowing that someone is stuck underwater.
In fact eggman would have conquered the world since no one would prevent him.
I'm surprised nobody would have saw his blood bubbles rising up to the surface, but maybe he's too deep to see any clear signs of exhale, and someone might not think someone is drowning.

Drowning is extremely painful I speak from experience
First you run out of air then you suffocate while struggling then your lungs feel like they are being crushed then stretched many times over and over then you try to breath worsening your condition making it harder to swim as your lungs fill with water then your body gives up with slight moments of reawakening
What I like the most about this mod is how they use the drowning tune and the Labyrinth Zone theme.
Also, you can see how what is holding Sonic underwater is the chain of a rusty spikeball. That's one of the traps in the original Labyrinth Zone.

@Twin Warrior It's absurd, in the game on which this mod is based he falls by gravity when he is in the water but for some reason here he stays flying in the water, also if he is released for OBVIOUS reasons he can jump and find the exit

Just the thought of perpetually drowning but being unable to die is horrifying to me. This mod has a very scary concept and I find it to be really interesting, not to mention how well made it is.

genuinely, being stuck in an inescapable situation is one of my greatest fears. i only recently learned how much i was scared of that from reading "Lonely Freddy" in FNAF: Fazbear Frights #2.
I know the situations told in these stories aren't real; that's why horror games and books have never phased me in the past. but something about a prolonged and indefinite death makes my stomach do somersaults.

A little detail about this is there’s a little crack on the spike ball, and his down animation is him kicking that exact spot as if he’s attempting to break it, and his right animation is him pulling on the chain stuck around his ankle

You know, I'm kind of surprised that a lot of .EXEs don't actually have a water related theme. Considering the iconic chase music everyone uses is the drowning music, you'd think water would be used a whole lot more- or maybe some other asphyxiation thing?

I like to think the carnival night sound at 2:00 is - unlike what others have theorized - just the sound of another bomb sinking to the bottom nearby, and the only other sound in the silence. I think it emphasizes just how alone and absolutely screwed Sonic is.

This .EXE has to be one of my favorites now, he is not a bad guy in any way and any other person in his situation would have gone absolutely mad by that point. Yet he is still somehow holding out through all this time, despite the pain of being so deep underwater and his lungs never being able to receive the air they so dearly need.
This is the type of person that would look at sonic and say "no way is that sonic from friday night funkin"

This is unironically the most disturbing mod I've seen. Imagine having your lungs fill with water and collapse for eternity. It's one of the most painful ways to die, and you can't even do that.
And the fact he has to drown over and over us just sad. I've done the math and I found out that he drowns on average 1420 TIMES PER DAY

For the people wondering why he cant escape/ die:
1. To escape he could use the spin dash, but that is Sonic 1 - and the spindash was introduced in sonic 2
2. Even if he could do the spindash he isnt touching the ground
3. He did the lives underflow glitch (gives 255 lives) and will be trapped for a long time

So, Sonic technically died from drowning, but also didn't, according to the lore. If I'm understanding this right, and we're following game mechanics, that means he lost a life and another Sonic respawned, probably. So nobody is going to come looking for this one.

What I find disturbing and sad about this mod is that, technically Sink is not dying. Sinks willpower to keep on going is so strong that Sinks in a zombie like state where he comes back to life, only to through all the pain again and drown all over again in hopes of there being someone to rescue him. Truly one of the most horrible ways to die. ( this horrible event takes in sonic 1 sonic could've easily broken out by using the spindash. Right? no, like I said before this takes place in sonic 1 when the spindash wasent even a thing back then. sonic also meets his first friend that could've helped sonic. In sonic 2... like I said many times before this event takes place in sonic 1 )

I don't know how to feel about the section labelled "i can't give up" from 3:38 to 4:10 because it feels like a double entendre of sorts. I can't give up trying to escape from this hell but also, i can't give up despite wanting it to all end. It's unsettling...

This honestly saddens me, seeing Sonic like that completely broke my heart. I grew up playing most of the games and never even realized that something like this could ever happen to him. This truly has made my day very, and I mean VERY uncomfortable.
@Wakwak1108 Sadly the Spindash wasn't a thing back in the early sonic games, making it impossible for Sonic to escape, and Tails nor Knuckles were even characters during this time so he has nobody to help him throughout his journey till the later sonic games. Plus he needs the Chaos emeralds to use any of those forms.

I never knew an fnf mod would both make me feel uneasy and upper my fear of drowning myself
Tho I honestly love the story behind the mod it really does make you feel uneasy which is something I'll love in some ex games or whatever. Not just "ooo man go insane and commits homicide on his homies" but literally someone suffering and feeling so hopeless by the situation they're in. It always fr makes you feel that way too if you get what I mean (Like you're in the character's shoes but not really?)

Man, it even has a pretty creepy game over animation. No sudden scene change to a skeleton or something, Sink just straight up stops moving. This mod and the exe is so damn cool.
After being controlled countless times and forced to kill his friends, seeing them scream in agony and help, Now he is stuck in this eternal hell forever, GIVE SONIC A DAMNED BREAK MAN!

I was literally playing Sonic The Hedgehog 1 on a chrome book earlier. I was playing Labyrinth Zone and I remembered a video about this. This is awesome. I’m gonna play this song on Roblox when I can.
Damn. The part sonic just drowns and then, revives, must be painful. The song is amazing and kinda scares me how expressive sonic is. And the idea there's no game over, then, there's no death, no scape, nothing, just, horrible
I think he gave up for a bit and from what I'm guessing the soul sonic is his will power or something convincing him to keep going,his will power is so strong that it keeps him alive so it might be his will power convincing him to keep going.
