Truly amazing display. One can only watch and admire the pilots skill, dedication and balls the size of coconuts to perform aerial manoeuvres like that 👍👍👍 Nicely filmed BTW 😎
The phrase "game changer" is used far too loosely and has lost its power. This is one case where the phrase could have been correctly applied. These maneuvers are simply not possible in other aircraft. Even without stealth it is formidable
Respect from the UK! I love our Eurofighter typhoons but the F22 Raptor is one of a kind. What an awesome piece of American technology. Best stealth fighter on the planet by a million miles.
@ImBrockatron no I think I'm right... Elevators effect only pitch control, but elevons incorporate the function of ailerons too: you can see them operating differentially to control roll as well as pitch?
Absolutely beautiful plane, beautifully shot video. Only downside of videos is they don’t do justice as to just how loud this beast really is in person.
Really sweet display, this really showcases the marvels of thrust vectoring, not sure how useful it really is in combat but it sure puts up a nice display :D
The power and inertia at 9:00-9:05 is breathtaking. The Raptor made as close to a 90 degree turn as you will ever see. Powerful Pratt engines and thrust vectoring make it possible, awesome.
Superb and pride maneuver in 8:50 extreme energy that no has other fighter. All russian Flanker maneuver are funny but without enough energy. F-22 is an agressive fighter at time of dogfight with charged energy maneuvers. Thanks for shared.
Only thing missing from video is the actual volume of the powerful engines. The F22 is louder than 2 B1Bs and its engine turbine temperature is almost twice higher than its nearest competitors
All modern fighters including Flanker have 1.0+ thrust/weight and plenty of energy when flying without payload with fuel for airshow (as this one does). F-22 is really cool overall but not the best in terms of energy among Flanker mods, Eurofighter, Rafale, Gripen... etc.
+Shipastij that's true a mirage and euro fighter , f16 all are better in tight corners hence being smaller but this is a better multirole taking in stealth . even though Russian 400 can detect . it will be super close and most likely far too late. and they are getting aim-9x operational this year on a f22
+Harry Harkins flanker .... worthy to fly with the other aircraft but not as much tech in them so ... kinda like buying a 5year old dog when you can have the 2 month old puppy
The first airshow I attended had the Thunderbirds F 100's (before sonic booms were outlawed over the continental US) and to have that memory to compare to today's aircraft capabilities makes this even more impressive...Thanks!
I saw them in Homestead, Fl in 1977, booms and all. It was crazy when they did the high speed pass at Mach 1.2 is what they claimed if I remember correctly. Have to go to Iraq or Afghanistan to see that now.
You gotta love Alien tech !!! ??? There are fancier flights by other jets over the years but when this bird wants to turn fast it is Amazing, it's almost like the USAF doesn't want to show all its cards with the F-22 ? Amazing aircraft. : )
Mike Lliteras As we all know there have been hundreds of Black triangle aircraft/UFO of all sizes spotted all over the world the last dozen years or so !!!!!!! Who knows who or what they belong to ???
I'm sure there is. They're upgraded until they're retired and even then we probably don't know. Maybe we know all about the P-51 ;). We aren't trying to market our fighters, just leave an impression
+Prog X Look up TR-3B. It's supposedly either the Aurora's big brother or it's successor. Good luck finding out what's true and what's bullsh# though. There is a lot of disinformation out there regarding the black triangles as you can imagine but one thing is sure: they are real. Multiple nations have tried to chase them using teenies (F-16's in the case of Belgium).
the thrust vector makes the maneuverability absolutely insane as proven in this video. unbelievable piece of kit (as you'd expect with the claimed pricetag these things have)
@Derp Inshmurtz IF, and that's a big 'if', the full production numbers had come to fruition, the cost per unit would have been only slightly higher than traditional units. They've added the development costs to the much lower number of units. I STILL believe it was LM that blocked the production of the F-22. LM went 'all-in' on the F-35 and didn't want any competition or comparison between the two. Hence, how 'expensive' the Raptor was...:)
On that last fish hook turn, every SU-37 pilot just filled their pants. He had to be pulling over 10g's on that one. Paul Moga pulled 13g's one time, and apparently pinched a disc/nerve in his back doing that same kind of fish hook turn.
Its really amazing to see how agile F22 is in both slow and fast speed. Seems to be able to do stuff that other fighters are just unable to do, so its not just all about stealth capabilities.
Excellent video again Elwyn R, this has to be Fridays display as she did a low display Saturday and went tech after 5 mins on Sunday, was fortunate enough to see Fridays display from Kempsford which i was thankful for as the the 2 days i spent on the showground were not full displays.
They're awesome.. You know they can actually lock onto an enemy fighter jet from miles away without that enemy jet even knowing its being locked onto.. It is to be truly feared
yeah the traffic was a bastard today , not on the way in , but coming out , highpoints ....The f35s flying with the red arrows , the airbus taking off .....talk about a steep take off , and the F35 displaying its Harrier impression .......
Amazing - beats any competitor! What is even more important, is the stealth fighter feature. The most important of course, is combat command and pilot's access to all information by the fighter's own sensors, from the combat command center and so many other sources. I begin to believe that this will be the next fighter of Finnish Air Force also!
I sure hope the assembly line does indeed go back up and running for this incredible air superiority fighter. I am assuming they would add the newest technology from the F 35 into it as well. I can imagine how many countries would like to see this model being offered for sale.
Watching this yet again...at 2:06 it looks like a flameout on the port engine. Is this intentional so the pilot can crank it around in the next manoeuvre?
Raptor is inferior to Su-35 in maneuverability, speed and sheer looks. Can you even imagine looking at absolutely fabulous Su-57 maneuverability and amazing grace what will it do to Raptor in dogfight and BVR? Regards from the west to Russia with LOVE!
Its crazy to think that if Northrop had stepped aside and let McDonnell Douglas design the airframe of the yf-23 and Northrop just focused on stealth they might've looked VERY similar.
Super weapon. Untouchability and invulnerability is one virtue of super weapons. Nukes are considered super weapons above all others. Conventional warfare tech becomes meaningless with nuke artillery.
Idk maybe completely dominating the skies and making all other air forces shit themselves if they know a raptor is near by! It’s called dominating the skies
Truly amazing display. One can only watch and admire the pilots skill, dedication and balls the size of coconuts to perform aerial manoeuvres like that 👍👍👍
Nicely filmed BTW 😎
alot of those coconut s lol
Don't know if they are the size of coconuts, but they sure feel like they weight as much during some of those maneuvers.
The phrase "game changer" is used far too loosely and has lost its power. This is one case where the phrase could have been correctly applied. These maneuvers are simply not possible in other aircraft. Even without stealth it is formidable

Stunning Display ! Definitly one of the best i've ever seen of an F-22 ! Great Camera Work !
Dude that mini-loop at 4:57 was just sick!
I love watching the elevons flapping around as it pulls out of the loop. That flight control system is working overtime!
Finally someone not afraid to put the F-22 through its paces... nice job
Incredible, after the free falls at about 4 min and start working them flaps whoooo, Nice video thanks
Really sweet display, this really showcases the marvels of thrust vectoring, not sure how useful it really is in combat but it sure puts up a nice display :D

+Harry Harkins but flanker can move for its size
The Raptor can turn on a dime!! amazing jet, saw it in Toronto 2007 airshow
Unbelievable camera work
Thanks for sharing
Cheers
best Raptor presentation I've seen, awesome turning. Too bad the tail slide was somewhat in the clouds, always a treat to watch.
That last pass before landing, suddenly breaking upwards into an immelman was astounding. Like a race car drifting with full throttle.
As a Russian, this impresses and scares me. Good job, 'murrica
Russia is building some amazing jets also. Sukhoi has been building jets for a long time. I love those jets.
Scares you and me both.. btw Americans as I am we always in development of better weapons because the fear of what Russia might have..
Both Russia and USA make great aircraft , myself speaking I can't wait till the day we work together as allies.
But I think your SU-57 could be a Raptor killer. Can you imagine both of them going against each other in a training exercise.
Blair Thandi even the Su-35 is a masterpiece
The scary thing is that none of what you see here are what make the F-22 so formidable.
This is ABSOLUTELY the truth.
@TheSushiraw no one knows. Most of the aircraft's capability is highly classified
TheSushiraw being able to knock stuff out before the enemies have even seen it
Defies the laws of traditional aerodynamics; simply stunning is an understatement
The first airshow I attended had the Thunderbirds F 100's (before sonic booms were outlawed over the continental US) and to have that memory to compare to today's aircraft capabilities makes this even more impressive...Thanks!

They will show everything it can do when the 6Th gen fighter comes out
Mike Lliteras As we all know there have been hundreds of Black triangle aircraft/UFO of all sizes spotted all over the world the last dozen years or so !!!!!!! Who knows who or what they belong to ???
Mike, there is top secret shit that the F-15 has that still isn't public.
I'm sure there is. They're upgraded until they're retired and even then we probably don't know. Maybe we know all about the P-51 ;). We aren't trying to market our fighters, just leave an impression

👍 Great footage of what has to be the most awesome fighter jet I have ever seen.
one of the best F22 visuals. kudos to the pilot and the cameraman
I recently just saw the F-35 demo in Oregon, and all I can say both are impressive machines, but demowise, I love the Raptor more.
Amazing quality. Thank you. I would have never had a chance to see that 2nd favorite place of mine this close
the thrust vector makes the maneuverability absolutely insane as proven in this video. unbelievable piece of kit (as you'd expect with the claimed pricetag these things have)
Ollie Duracell yeah, it's a shame the US hasn't adopted this technology more
TVC is not exactly the main contributor to the F-22's cost.
@Derp Inshmurtz IF, and that's a big 'if', the full production numbers had come to fruition, the cost per unit would have been only slightly higher than traditional units. Good professional video - next best thing to being there. Thanks!
On that last fish hook turn, every SU-37 pilot just filled their pants.
He had to be pulling over 10g's on that one. Paul Moga pulled 13g's one time, and apparently pinched a disc/nerve in his back doing that same kind of fish hook turn.
Great video, lovely to watch it all over again, and superb camera work.
saw this today and it was the BEST part of the day ..just awesome
Its really amazing to see how agile F22 is in both slow and fast speed. Seems to be able to do stuff that other fighters are just unable to do, so its not just all about stealth capabilities.

Thanks. Great video and airplane---US Air Force F-22 Raptor.
We are so fortunate to have such dedicated military personnel.
Utterly fantastic. A truly marvelous performance by a truly marvelous aircraft.
15 people are scared. The F-22 Raptor is the epitome of technology. A marvel of engineering. Don't fuck with it. Badass. +++
They're awesome.. You know they can actually lock onto an enemy fighter jet from miles away without that enemy jet even knowing its being locked onto.. It is to be truly feared
Fantastic loud display I was there at riat 2016 I was at the park and view on Thursday
I was down the Green zone end watching this.. burst my ears! I'll always remember this.
Think i need another barf bag. Astonishing performance by this beast. Liked
Great footage. Thanks for posting!
EPIC!! Loved this one - never seen so much footage before, ta mate!!
The best aircraft i have ever seen at riat wish it would come back
like this plane more and more .good job martin
loved it I love the flat spin and such very maneuverable full flying stabilizer kicks but with a expierenced pilot
Superb 4:55 Thanks for sharing!
It's hard to imagine any fighter out performing this beast of a machine in air to air combat.
Can't wait to see that beast tomorrow, going to be a fantastic display all round
we went today and the F22 was the star for me , although the F35 had a stunning hover display , i thought the F22 was just the dogs bollox
+wacka2 sounds great. I'm staying with family about 30 miles away, early start in the morning to beat the traffic
yeah the traffic was a bastard today , not on the way in , but coming out , highpoints ....The f35s flying with the red arrows , the airbus taking off .....talk about a steep take off , and the F35 displaying its Harrier impression .......
my advice ...take a picnic ...five quid for a cheeseburger .!...2 quid for a small coke .......
. hahahahaha
wacka2 I thought the A400 was brilliant for a big plane, and yeah, F35 was steady as a rock in the hover, very impressive, and who says it can't turn!
Love this bird, simply awesome to watch. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing - beats any competitor! What is even more important, is the stealth fighter feature. Nope, the F22 is not allowed for export
On all accounts - Very nicely done!
Awesome F-22 Raptor flying! Liked!
As my friend too the South said; "hope we never get too this"! Love ya
AMAZING DISPLAY!! BEST I SEEN SO FAR...USA RIFAMOS E- QUE
Wow the F-22 is so much more maneuverable than the F-35.
The control is eat my dust, good.
My god, I cant believe it can just flip around as nimble as that, looking as though it will fall out of the sky and then just jets off... wow
work of technology and art what a spectacular machine
I sure hope the assembly line does indeed go back up and running for this incredible air superiority fighter. I am assuming they would add the newest technology from the F 35 into it as well. I can imagine how many countries would like to see this model being offered for sale.
No one can afford it😂
Best TOP AIR GUN in the world 👊👊👊👊👊
I normally go each year, and saw the Rapture for the first time back in 2014. It stole the show!!
Did one afterburner flame out at 2:05 - 2:08 or does the control system use not only thrust vectoring but asymmetrical thrust as well?
The best machine ever made.
amazing that is how you show off an airplane
Watching this yet again...at 2:06 it looks like a flameout on the port engine. Is this intentional so the pilot can crank it around in the next manoeuvre?
4 years to go before we say goodbye to this elegant yet deadly stealth fighter
6:50 is f... gravity
России еще расти и расти до таких шедевров
Этот шедевр листает как бревно
Too bad they aren't allowed to go supersonic >.
The fall from 4:00 is just utterly mesmerising
Saw a not dissimilar display on Saturday. This aircraft moves like nothing else, it's almost like watching a UFO.
Already calling it beforehand : soon enough the comment section will be filled by slavaboos.
Jealousy is an evil bitch
This thing just makes flight dynamics up at it goes along..
Is it an illusion, or does it stop in mid air and fall several times?
The wheel stand was just showing off ;)
Awesome glad their on are side :)
Beautifulllllllllllll show, full of talent..
The configuration is clean. Will be interesting to know if it can do the same with missiles under its wings
F-22 doesn't carry its payload on its wings, they're stored in the craft and are deployed from the missile bay underneath the craft.
GOOD DEMO of a jet we need more of.
i encourage everyone to see this demo in person.
It's like an American Su-37. Awesome!
4:47 wow, just like EDI UCAV from movie stealth movie in the dogfisgt sceene.
if it goes to build a warbird.... dont mess with amerika.
Great . Greetz from germany.
Love you Germany much respect .
Ohhhhh my god this plane roars like an angry beast
Sweet I use to live in Virginia Beach jets like that all the time
Second generation aircraft do dogfights in Fallon Nevada is quite incredible
That's gorgeous
What amazing film the guys is amazing
jebuz...da heck is that?
And this is a 20 year old plane since inducted in activity in the Air Force. Can anyone imagine what’s coming with our 6th generation fighter?
All that and no smoking exhaust like the soviets counter part...those huge smoke plumes from the su27 give away its position ...
Fantastic
What camera is being used hear?
Say Raptor, When only the best will do.
3 words that describe this moment " MERICA FUCK YEAH"!!!!
A good demonstration illustrating why the F-22 can beat 5 F-15 Eagles at once in a dogfight.
Don't for get! Only when they need or want something! happy Halloween, sweetie!
The Aliens are like "That's so slow and noisy".
besides make airshow, what use is this aircraft ??
Super weapon. Untouchability and invulnerability is one virtue of super weapons. Nukes are considered super weapons above all others. Conventional warfare tech becomes meaningless with nuke artillery.
Idk maybe completely dominating the skies and making all other air forces shit themselves if they know a raptor is near by! It’s called dominating the skies
Love the f22
the best fighter jet ever =pure unstopble killing machine !!well done usa !!HUGE LIKE !!
