My Hematologist just diagnosed me with Normocytic Normochromic Anemia and wants me to go see my Rheumatologist. My Ferritin is 9 and i’m getting 2 doses a week apart of 510mg infusions each called Feraheme. The other 2 autoimmune diseases i have are Ulcerative Colitis and Axial Spondyloarthritis. I received a bilateral SI Joint fusion both in 2021 by a neurosurgeon which made my hips and IT Bands hurt 24/7. My Rheumatologist said those surgeries should’ve never been done! I needed a special anti-inflammitory medication called Sullfasalazine DR 500mg 2 tablets twice/day, plus SI Joint injections every 3 months. Now I’m forever in pain from the bilateral fusions. Always get a second opinion!! Can’t wait to watch this video!
@@rohitbhujbal377 - The Rheumatologist did extensive testing and supposedly ruled out AS. Thank you for asking. I do have Bertolotti Syndrome Type 3 which shows complete auto-fusion of the transverse process to the sacral ala. If the “pseudo L6” didn’t auto-fuse, then the neurosurgeon said he would’ve manually fused the L6. This condition causes a lot of pain too, even though some specialists say “it shouldn’t”.
Please make these Hem disease a special playlist ❤
I'm now a doctor and i used your videos a lot in medical school in Uganda. Here to learn again.
