My 16th B-day was Slayer, and Dark Angel at the Hollywood Paladium. 1984......My kneck was sore for a week and my ears rang for a day after. Fuckin amazing. Amazing scene in LA at the time local bands like Armored Saint, Metalica, Overkill. As for prior comments about the birth of "death metal". I'd say a couple bands of mention would Venom, and Merciful Fate. Pretty big at that time.
Great job man, I remember thinking how this would sound back in high school! it's crazy how I just happened to stumble upon it on youtube 7 or 8 years later. Thanx for the post bro.
when i listened to it the first time i didnt even notice the change in song, so i think you've done a good job. Both songs sound sweet, and together... FUCKING INSANE!!!!!!
so let me get it straight.. you listen to Slayer but wanted to play dj.. well done! you found a natural link, that´s how shit would go down if they played this sorta music in clubs! Slayer 4 life!!!
i was supposed to go to the first american carnage tour show, but them they postponed it becasue of toms surgery. I am seeing them in portland in a couple of months.
i started out with raining blood cause of gh3 =/ one day i just decieded to look up something other then raning blood and i think it was c.w the got me hooked i love this band and im glad i decided to look up other songs by them
mmm, nope. Probably 'cause I haven't gone a day without listening to Slayer for years!! Although there are times where just listening to Dave makes me want to beat the crap outta the drums, haha.
This picture looks like the one 'Nostradamus' has in hes 'lost' book. Some creature holding the sword ( But holding it for the blade ).I asume that it represented the great dying. Spooky isn't it ?
Hey, anyone who knows alot about them answer this for me. I heard their album "God Hates Us All " was sent out right before 9/11 and it had the twin towers as the picture for the album. Did that really happen?
The middle riff on chem war is just one of the best metal riffs ever. EVER

Wow that was a perfect transition! Well done.
this is very well done man, great idea
@rudisimo666 Man, you did a great job with the cross over. I love that Toms vocals mesh seamlessly right into Ghosts. Thumbs up man.

SYK COLLECTION OF some of my alltime favorite shit definitly appreciate the time spent to make all this available
Nice dude, my first was Black Magic. That is my favorite riff to play on guitar, along with Heartwork by Carcass.
25 years later and it still slays most metal out there, especially alot of the American metal bands.
I heard Chemical Warfare after I heard Ghosts of War and I was shocked when I found out the endings and beginnings are the same
when i listened to it the first time i didnt even notice the change in song, so i think you've done a good job. Both songs sound sweet, and together... FUCKING INSANE!!!!!!
@rudisimo666 Man, Thanks so much for doing this. I've always wanted to here the two pasted together!
Wow, very nicely done, very professional sounding transition from one song to the next.

this is cool. I don't think too many people realize that the end riff of C.W. is the beginning riff of G.o.W.
@GeneLattanzi ACCORDING TO DARKLYRICSCOM HE SAYS FUCK IT UP. Sorry bout the caps lol I didn't feel like rewriting it.
sick insane both blended well
this is my #1 favorite SLAYER song ever !

slayer always makes me fucking crazy this is wut plays in my head when im fucking pissed
I cant find studio version of Chemical Warfare, its all live on youtube, anybody?
Chemical Warfare for sure, did not realize there was two songs on the video.
@condomrap Thanks Dude. That's what I thought it was too, but I've never been sure. Thanks again.
It does make sense Chemical Warfare Transitioning into Ghosts of War. The after math of a War leaves a bunch of dead soldiers Hence "Ghosts of War".
@rudisimo666 dude.. just saying u should do the Metal/ flesh storm intro like they used to do live if ud want 2
@GeneLattanzi Shit! I meant "hear."
This is sick !!! \m/
they sound like Venom in this song ( yea i know they were influenced by em ) & Tom kinda sounds like Cronos as well
mmm, nope. Probably 'cause I haven't gone a day without listening to Slayer for years!! Although there are times where just listening to Dave makes me want to beat the crap outta the drums, haha.
What is it that tom yells at 2:44? Been listening for years and could never make it out.
Fuck it up
