2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 Detailed Ride Review - The Dream Realized?

- The most affordable BS6 bike from Kawasaki is priced at a rather steep Rs 3,18,000 (ex-showroom India). This makes it a whole Rs 20,000 dearer than the BS4 bike. There have been no tangible features to justify the hefty premium either. Kawasaki has just offered a fresher set of colours: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. Powering the bike is the same 296cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, now tweaked to comply with BS6 emission norms. Thankfully, it produces the same 39PS of power at 11,000rpm as before. However, peak torque has gone down from 27Nm to 26.1Nm at 10,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch. Underpinnings include the same 37mm telescopic front fork and rear-linked monoshock. The bike comes to a halt using the same 290mm front and 220mm rear petal disc with dual-channel ABS. Kawasaki has equipped the motorcycle with MRF Nylogrip Zapper FY up front and Zapper S at the rear. Interestingly, the seat height has gone down by 5mm to 780mm now, while ground clearance has increased from 135mm to 140mm. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is fairly basic in terms of features. It gets a pair of halogen headlamps and an LED tail lamp. It still uses the same semi-digital instrument cluster as before. We wish Kawasaki had equipped the motorcycle with LED headlamp and a smartphone-compatible instrument cluster, both of which would’ve justified the premium, at least to a certain extent.

Just got this lime green delivery yesterday..trust me..it is an amazing bike..if you are looking to buy a bike in this segment just blindly go for it.
P.S : none of the videos in youtube do justice for its amazing exhaust note..it has a bit of bass to its sweet note..you will know what i mean when you listen to it in person :)
@Black Shadow i prefer the kawasaki as it is much refined with twin cylinder..bmw is a little cheaper but it has only single cylinder..moreover it is the same engine used in rr310..so ninja is better

I'm having N300 2018 bs4 model. I get slightly buzz type vibe on handle bars and footpegs around 4k rpm. If any one felt the same then do let me know. I'm really worried if it's problem with my machine or not. 😢

Usd forks is disadvantage for bad roads,
frame slider are aftermarket, halogen does not blind other vehicles unlike led, analogue rpm meter is practical as one just needs to glance at needle position, swing arm is capable of handling bad roads with two people.
Cost is high compared to rr310 as it is an cbu.
@@georgecarlinn6288 It does not depend on halogen or led to blind other people, it depends on the light reflecting unit and Halogen is kinda cheap feel in this budget and USDs are good for high speed stability and cornering and this is a sport so this is meant for cornering and top speed not for bads roads.
You would not go on a bad road on your will.
And USDs can also pass through bad roads.
If you want to ride it in bad roads, go for adventure bikes.
Console is outdated.
Maybe some people may find it good but it still does not show enough information unlike KTMs and other bikes in that budget.
It's tires are scrap. Not that much grip and it's swing arm is cheap and power delivery does not feel that much good.

If one wants features he or she can go for KTM RC 390 or even 200 cause Kawasaki doesn't give you much features on their smaller bikes all that often or even on some of their higher CC bikes for that matter. Ninjas are all about power and not about beautiful looks some fancy features in fact it was until this year only that they started giving LEDs in their litre class bike the mighty Ninja ZX 10 R so yeah if you want to experience the power of the Ninja and are looking for reliability The Kawasaki brand being a Japanese manufacturer simply stands out and talking about this Ninja the 300 well it may not have so many features that you would expect at this price point but Kawasaki makes up for it by giving it 39 ps of power and a parallel twin cylinder engine and that's where it stands out way ahead of it's rivals and 39 ps of power is more than enough for our Indian roads in my opinion plus it's not a completely featureless bike, it's got dual channel ABS, a slipper clutch and not to forget it's engine cooling system which is liquid cooled all these features are quite sufficient for enthusiasts like me. 💚
Not a good advice bro. Tvs apache 310rr is best in the segment and value for money. Ktm is not good.
@@mrinalkapri5798 Absolutely sir I'm not even a fan of KTM in fact i hate it like anything, i love Japanese, German and some Italian bikes only even in this comment i was trying to say that Kawasaki is way way better than KTM but if one wants some gimmicky features only and not the refinement, power and performance of the Japanese bikes then I can't help but recommend them KTM which I don't like personally 👍
You're right brother, IMO, Its also partly due to how our Indian market works. They tried the N400 here, but we dont want to spend at all, like, we want 1000cc bike within Rs2L. thats how we are... LOL
N300 is a globally discontinued model and, internationally, it was rightfully succeeded by N400 which is a better bike in every single way.
But Kawasaki understood that we want cheaper stuff, so they're just clearing their shelf and off loading the outdated N300 on India.
