Your consider the lilies, Crosstitch is truly a masterpiece when the weather cools your Stitchie bug will return in full force. The raccoon bag is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Lori Holt has a tutorial on her channel on how to make the boards . I'm sure you can make them, they are easy, and that way you can make them whatever size you want. I love the project bag and Teresa Kogut fabric is the best. The raccoon is so cute among all the animals. Hope your stitchy mojo is back to stay. You definitely can learn to quilt and it is as addictive as cross stitch. So many quilting videos to help you with everything you need to know. I love doing both crafts and go to quilting retreats several times each year.
Watched your flosstube for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love Teresa Kogut and the project bag with all the creatures is beautiful. The raccoon brings back memories of my dad hunting when I was a child.
Obsessed with the butterflies on that project bag. And I don’t know why but raccoons just make me giggle every time I see them. Their expressions give me a chuckle haha
You have every right to say a big Y’all! Your Lillies is amazing. You must be a quick stitcher. I’ve watched both of @sewtattered and @nestofpetals Flosstubes and they are now among my favorite Flosstubers. I love all of your projects & the charts you showed for future starts. The raccoon bag is so cute! ❤🦝
I just enjoy your videos so much- your projects are beautiful! In TN it’s not unusual to see a raccoon. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us!
Enjoyed your video, Lauren! You have accomplished more during your “ slump” than I have being what I consider me being an active stitcher! Lol! Don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s summertime & everything slows down, even a raccoon! 🫣😂 Take care & enjoy your time with family & friends. Love all of your stitching!
Thank you Lauren! I think you have just enabled me to pull the trigger on "At Home." Such a lovely piece! So glad she included deer instead of a racoon!!!!
I always love ❤️ seeing your Floss Tubes. Your stitching 🧵 is so beautiful. I adore the Teresa Kogut fabric and the sweet raccoon along with all the other critters. Thank you 😊 ❤
Great floss tube, thanks so much. Everybody goes through the cycle of stitching baas, you wait, very soon you will love your stitches, promise! Love the project bag of the Raccoon , so cute. Have a great summer, looking for our Autumn!🤗🧵🪡
Ive been watching you from the start and I just want to tell you how much I really enjoy your posts! I love your work, ALL your content and it is always relaxing and refreshing to listen to what you have to say.
I just talked to my friend this morning ,who has a beautiful garden, and she was telling me she caught sight of a raccoon raiding her harvest!! Needless to say she was not very happy with his visit! You had me laughing so hard at your JoAnn's receipt !! I've had lots of those, which I hide from my husband so as not to freak him out!! As always, I enjoyed your flosstube and beautiful stitching!
I hate math but I love quilting 😊 I learned to quilt from books 45 years ago and I taught at my local quilt shop in the 1990s, Fat Quarter Shop has wonderful tutorials as well as many others on UA-cam. Stitching and quilting have given me a lifetime of creative joy and all the gifts I give are handmade and people love that. Your work is beautiful so I think you would love quilting start with a wall hanging or table runner trust me I have many unfinished larger projects. So glad you joined this community can’t wait to see what you do next hope you are having a great summer
The raccoon bag is so cute! I learned to quilt way before UA-cam, I took a couple of classes at my local quilt shop & learned tons!! I belong to a quilting guild & several of us mentor new quilters. Something to consider when you need answers to questions you don't know how to ask...
Hey, Lauren, every time I see your Consider the Lilies it takes my breath away. So gorgeous! Fat Quarter Shop has a series of tutorials called Ultimate Beginner Quilt, step by step videos, easy as shooing a raccoon off the porch. Quilting is so fun!
Wow!! You have made fantastic progress on Consider the Lilies! It looks so beautiful ❤! And, being from Louisiana, I LOVE that you said y’all!!! 😂 It freaks me out when I see a raccoon in my backyard at night! 🫣 Meline
Love your garden sampler and your huge project...what a masterpiece!! Hope you get your stitchy bug back to enjoy all those lovely fall patterns! The raccoon bag is awesome.
A friend of mine recommended your Flosstube because she knew I would love your wips and plans. She’s so right, I have subscribed and am now enable to get Summer Quaker. Yours is beautiful even though I didn’t spot a raccoon in it.
Enjoyed your video. Raccoons are cute to stitch. Love all things Teresa Kogut, beautiful bag. Don't be hard on yourself about stitching, it will come back.
Love the raccoon bag! As a true Southern girl, I just wanted to say you did a great job using the word y’all appropriately 😊 Your Consider the Lilies is amazing. I also love the two new Brenda Gervais starts you’ve had recently. I have been trying to resist starting the Summer Quaker, but I feel like I’m not going to be able to hold out much longer. I will definitely join you in your BAP to School SAL. I have small starts on several BAPs already, but may just kit up another one lol. Thank you for an enjoyable video. Kara
I haven’t seen a raccoon in such a long time! We don’t get many in my neighborhood, although we do see a lot of hummingbirds, snakes, geckos, and even an occasional skunk! Lovely projects! I hope you get your stitchy bug back soon!
I loved seeing your recent progress. Your projects are always amazing. I totally understand your loss of stitching enthusiasm. I’ve experienced that too lately. I think it’s just my body telling me to get outside and enjoy the nice weather before winter finds us again. Love the raccoon on Teresa Kogut’s fabric. Take care Lauren.
Your lilies and summer quaker are coming along beautifully! My son's favorite animal is the raccoon and he collected several figures and plush toys when younger.
I adore your personality! Calm and serious but throw in some dry jokes here and there 😂 gorgeous stitching, I love that you can tell you have a particular taste because I like and stitch everything with no rhyme or reason
Your stitching is amazing. We recently moved to South Carolina from Hyde Park, Ny. My Granddaughter came to visit us in Hyde Park and she had gone to Taco Bell. She forgotten to close her car windows. The sly raccoon helped himself to her tacos that she left in her car lol. There were taco wrappers all over my driveway. That raccoon had the best day ever lol. Looking forward to your next video. Have fun with your family ❤.
Hello Lauren, I love the bap you chose. Also, I need one of those trays, too. Have a wonderful time with your sister’s family. What an amazing raccoon bag!
I once had a raccoon in my backyard that I swear weighed 50 pounds. Found out later that my neighbors were feeding them dry dog food. You accomplished a lot over the month even losing your mojo. If you find you are still having trouble getting it back, pick a pattern you like and stitch for just 10-15 minutes a day until your mojo is back. That has helped me when I feel I need a kickstart. Cheers!
Hey Lauren -- your "Consider the Lilies" is spectacular!! I'm so impressed by your gorgeous stitching. Glad you're going to try your hand @ wool applique!! I love doing it; it's so fun!! I took a couple of classes from Maggie Bonanommi &, not only was she a hoot, but she was a great teacher. If you can find one of her books, her instructions are really good. Her pieces are really primitive so her patterns are really good for beginners--primitive doesn't have to be perfect!! Hope you have fun w/it. My hubby had a raccoon when he was in high school; Ellie was her name. He kept her for abt a yr til her "wild side" started to come out so he had to let her go, but she sure was a cutie!! Have a great rest of the summer!!
Stitching mojo comes and goes, it will be back! I’m your neighbor in MA, love your videos very relaxing to listen and our stitching style is similar. Watch out for those raccoons!
1st video I have watched of yours. Lovely stitching. I hope you get your stitching bug back soon. We certainly need our stitching for relaxation and therapy! Raccoons are cute even if they are pests
Love love love your videos! Your projects are amazing, and all things that I have either started, want to start, in my stash, on my wishlist, etc. lol!!! I love that cute bag! The raccoon is adorable! Have a great week and hope your stitching bug comes back in full force!!!
I love raccoons so much! When my husband was a little boy, he had a raccoon as a pet and he told me about all the silly things his pet would do. Sounds like so much fun!!!
Hey Lauren! I had a pet raccoon as a young girl. Lisa’s bags are awesome, I have one and wish for many more even though I’ve started sewing my own. I try to make my bags nice and sturdy as she does. Love your stitching and can’t wait to see you again! ❤
When i was younger, closer to your age, i would lose my stitchy bug every once in a while, for weeks or months. Once I hit 50 I have never lost it. I am sure it is unique to each person but I think I was so busy all the time at your age i just couldn’t focus on stitching, ie, didnt have the energy at the end of the day (my only available stitching time.) Now that life is calmer the focus or the mental energy needed for stitching is not an issue. But, you certainly still have gotten a lot of beautiful stitches in despite your break. Loved seeing all of it. I have a Baptoschool project all kitted up and ready to go - Kathy Barrick’s Dutch Sampler. Thanks for sharing xx
I enjoy your videos so much. The view out of your window is lovely, too! I hope you get your stitchy bug back very soon! Your Summer Refreshes and Summer Quaker are making me feel a need to do some shopping. They are beautiful. I love your project bag! I am loving all of these fabrics with animals that are very prevailent in my area such as bears, deer, and also the cute little raccoon. Thank you for sharing all of your stitchy fun!
Hello! Love your Flosstube. I also have The Scarlett House's Penny Pumpkin pattern and called-for fabric. We've had a raccoon family living under our garden shed in recent years. Looking forward to more episodes!
love all the project bags you featured but loveed the one with the 🦝 raccoon the most. my heart skipped a beat with all that floss from joann's !!! hope you get your stitchy bug soonest...
Dear Lauren, I do love the "fancy" boards. I made some with just foam board and batting & spray adhesive. I needed them for a quilting project but use them all the time for stitching. Easy! You can say y'all any time you want, sug (sugar abbreviated w/o ar 😂) Hope "you guys" have an amazing August. I hope you enjoy the wool applique, I think you will find it enjoyable ❤
Hi Lauren. Always look forward to your videos! You’re such an inspiration! Lori Holt has a tutorial on making a display board (posted more than a year ago). We occasionally get a raccoon in our yard - among the deer, fox, turkeys and rabbits!
Love your Spring Quaker by Lila's Studio. I have it on my wish list with the Summer Quaker too. Stitch what you want and use whatever materials/props you want and have. I would love to stitch the raccoon.
Your Joann's receipt is so funny, I have had a few similar to that one...but yours was the best! I love the raccoon project bag! The fabric is beautiful. Enjoy stitching this August.
Hope your stitchy bug comes back soon. Love all the projects and plans you’ve got going. I love some of the raccoon videos on instagram, hilarious. Have a great month. ✌🏻
If only you could exercise and stitch at the same time!! When our girls were little there was a family of RACOONS that would emerge from the storm drain in front of our house every night to go looking for their dinner. We said they were coming up from their subway!! Love the project bag. Keep stitching one X at a time. Christy
I agree with you that I would love to see Lila's Studio do an autumn and winter quaker in the same style as the spring and summer ones! The Halloween one is really cute, but I prefer the symmetry of Spring Quaker and Summer Quaker. I've been working away on Summer Quaker since Memorial Day weekend, and it really is fun to stitch!
Thanks for a fun flosstube! I am a quilter and think that starting with a simple squares quilt is a great place. You can even buy a stack of squares called a charm pack that are already cut into 5” squares, so you can just practice piecing and ironing. There are a ton of UA-cam videos to help as well, or most quilt shops have a beginners class. I have a fun raccoon quilt kit (another great place just like cross stitch is to buy a kit!) I need to make.
Consider the Lilies is beautiful and looks like you don't have much left compared to overall picture. My dog loves chasing squirrels and once went after a raccoon that was in our yard!
I am so glad to see an update from you! I love seeing your future plans and progress. We actually feed raccoons in our backyard.. originally it was food meant for a feral cat.. but we brought the feral cat in and now we just feed raccoons instead haha. Take care and good luck with finding your stitchy bug!
Hi Lauren, I love your videos! Your work is beautiful and I'm amazed at how quickly you stitch! I have been quilting since the late 90's and love it! For me it is like cross stitch in that I don't have to have drawing or painting ability to create something beautiful that I'm proud to display or gift. I started with baby quilts as they were less daunting than the larger bed quilts. I'm currently completing a Lone Star Log Cabin pattern from Jordan Fabrics. They have some amazing instructional videos on UA-cam; I would recommend them to you. Also, Lori Holt has amazing instructional videos for her quilting as well. I have started the Summer Quaker and am hoping to post some pictures to the SAL; I love seeing your progress! The raccoon bag is adorable! Thanks for sharing!
Lauren, I highly recommend Celeste Creates to help you get started quilting. On her channel she has a beginner’s project and it is amazing. I quilted a few years back and I used her videos to help refresh me and they were perfect 😊. She takes you step by step! Perfection! That raccoon bag is precious ❤
I kitted up "Inspiration" with all the DMC at Hobby Lobby and my receipt looked very similar to yours! Love Teresa's fabrics and the racoon is adorable!
Steps before stitches every morning!!! Raccoon, I am glad you were able to get some bags made, they are gorgeous and I always need a fantastic bag maker to follow I have lots of ideas for BAPtoSchool but I am ridiculous. That summer quaker progress...and you having a lull in stitching is not evident in this video :) Just take the plunge on quilting, I am a complete novice but am having fun with it
Hope you get Lillies done soon! It looks great! This spring we found out raccoons were living in our screened porch ceiling! I recently started quilting. I made a simple quilt using charm packs (5 inch squares) so there wasn’t much cutting involved. I followed Melanie Ham’s beginner quilt series on UA-cam . I’m pretty proud of it.
Another great video. Thank you for taking the time to make them. That raccoon project bag is wonderful. In fact, when you showed yours, I immediately tried to find Lisa on line. Happy stitching.
Love watching you Lauren! Love your work! I’m a quilting and just got back to cross stitching. Definitely get to a quilt shop. They’ll help you! We have small creature trying to pull down our bird feeder. We’re pretty sure it’s a raccoon! 😂😀
Thank you for your video. Even though you lost your stitchy bug, you did get alot done. You're right to not push it, it'll come back. I crochet, but can't do it in the summer either. I would love the Racoon bag. I love anything Teresa Kogut! Take care and happy stitching!
Love to watch you! My stitching is very similar to yours as I am presently stitching a lot of Brenda Gervais, Blackbird, and Plum Street. I am also a prolific knitter! I have never seen a raccoon in the wild. I spend a lot of time in our beautiful mountains (I live in Utah), but have never seen one. I hope you can get your stitchy bug back!
Ohhhhh Quaker Garden is beautiful - can't wait to watch you stitch that one. I just bought the Woman 3 pattern and wow ---- the number of floss colours ;) Had no idea there was a SAL, will def join!!!!! Great bag. Raccoon and remember life often puts our stitching on hold however how lucky are we that we have it along with a great community!!!!!
I just found your videos!! 🎉 I love them! I stitch things you like too so that makes it so nice watching you!! I remember when I was younger we had a pet raccoon!! I know right! My dad loved them & Harry The Raccoon grew up with us!! 😅 We all loved Harry The Raccoon. I was wanting to start on Consider The Lilies too. I didn't quite hear the fabric you were stitching yours on. Would you please let me know. I've subscribed to your channel to watch you stitch! Thank you for such a delightful video!! I'm going back and watching all you've done! You're a joy to watch! Thank you! ❤❤
Love your videos - really love everything you stitch! I used to have raccoons under my porch growing up and they would all run up one skinny little tree whenever we turned on the light - poor tree, it was definitely raccoon heavy.
I was the same way this past month, just too busy with summer so I haven’t stitched much. I just started quilting and I took a beginner basics class which was super helpful. The raccoon bag is super cute!
I lost my stitchy bug mostly. My dog Bingo had a seizure July 13 which left him paralyzed. The vet initially suggested putting him down, but I wanted to give him a chance. I have had to tend to him constantly since then, literally getting 1 1/2 to 3 hours a night. My stitches are drunken, and that is how I feel. I probably look like a raccoon. But more importantly, he is getting such little sleep as well. Happily, he is starting to use his front feet, dragging himself around. All the work is worth it, and I am so glad I fought for him.
We all lose our mojo from time to time. Either knitting, stitching, crocheting, sewing and Exercise. 🤣 Exercise is probably the worst to lose. I really really have to do that steps before stitches thing. And of course I think walking or working out gives us even more energy to do the things we want to do. Love the racoon bag.
Your consider the lilies, Crosstitch is truly a masterpiece when the weather cools your Stitchie bug will return in full force. The raccoon bag is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents.
The raccoon just laughed and laughed and then stitched the day away. Enjoy your videos very much, lovely projects and beautiful stitching.
That RACCOON project bag is adorable!! 😍 Love your flosstube! You do beautiful work and listening to you is so soothing and calming. Thanks, Lauren! 😊

I ❤ that raccoon bag! It’s so cute ☺️ I also have had floss receipts that long when they have a great sale. That’s my favorite time to stock up.
Beautiful projects! I had to stop several times to add things to my wish list. That raccoon bag is so awesome!
Glad your stitchy bug is coming back! Love the raccoon bag!
Really enjoy your videos!! Thank you taking the time! Your stitching is so pretty! I love raccoons. They remind me of my Dad.

Can wait to see your start and progress on quaker garden, it’s such a beautiful design! That racoon bag is awesome!
Raccoon...I think they're cute. Great video. Love your projects and thanks for sharing
I like the raccoon fabric so much that I have the same fabric for a quilt I plan on making. Love your projects!
Raccoon, I am glad you were able to get some bags made, they are gorgeous and I always need a fantastic bag maker to follow
I have lots of ideas for BAPtoSchool but I am ridiculous.
That summer quaker progress...and you having a lull in stitching is not evident in this video :)
Just take the plunge on quilting, I am a complete novice but am having fun with it
Hope you get Lillies done soon!
Always enjoy your videos. Love the raccoon bag - so cute. Have a great time at the Cape and on your VT visit.
Love watching you Lauren! Love your work! I’m a quilting and just got back to cross stitching. Definitely get to a quilt shop. They’ll help you! We have small creature trying to pull down our bird feeder. We’re pretty sure it’s a raccoon! 😂😀
Thanks again Lauren ! Love your stitching ! I just finished Rabble Raccoon stitch and loved it! The baby raccoon was 1/1 !
Your stitching is beautiful! What a cute raccoon on that project bag!
Your stitching is lovely. I love the cute raccoon bag. Safe travels.
Enjoyed your video. Consider the lilies is so close!! The racoon bag is so cute.
The raccoon bag is cute! I enjoy watching your videos.
