Hello friends, I'm a farmer from Indonesia. Greetings from me. Good luck, always healthy and prosperous, for all of us. and I hope that Indonesian farmers are getting more advanced, like in your country, the tools are sophisticated, and modern. I hope we can be friends, exchange knowledge and knowledge even through youtube and this virtual world amen 🙏🤝🤝🙏

goddammit
Farming with new equipment is more enjoyable then farming with old stuff that breaks down. Old equipment, fix fix fix fix fix. Been there, done that!
Funny thing is new equipment break more cause there’s far more things added where as the old equipment is simple
Old equipment is cool and have is faschion
That JD S680 combine made did great job harvesting the corn. Great video as always
instablaster.
I find this very therapeutic to watch, same kind of sensation I get from mowing the lawn
That must be the little Boy still in you
Beautiful video, Mike. I am really fascinated. Thank you for these uploads! Make my wife a
You know ur a big farmer when you use autosteer to drive the auger cart. That Kinze looks pretty sharp. Great work Mike.
Dude these guys are lucky. I live like twelve miles from this field, and we are still harvesting corn in October because of all of the rain we have gotten. The guy who farms for my family is outside right now in a winter coat and gloves harvesting corn.
Hey colt in the seventies we picked corn with a 2 row mounted picker on a d-19 in the snow not all the time thankfully have a good one
Is it profitable!?
Lape Farms, nicest guys around, I worked for them for 4 years and have known them my whole life
Max Thurman Yes they were great people
Thank you Mike. You still have very good drone footage. I watch BTP for information and you for the great drone footage and Classic Tractor Fever for the real old tractors. Does not get any better.
You are lucky. I live in Iowa and in 2018 we had more rain during harvest then we ever have. Towards the end of harvest the corn had a little bit of snow on it. We have a creek across the road from my house and before last year I had never seen it flood. It was bad
Good video. Again Mike. Interesting to watch. No corn gets combined in our area here in Manitoba, so that is learning video for me . Thank you.
I don't know about today - I remember sneaking a ride in the back of the corn picker risking being hit with ears of corn. Taking my little wagon out after the field had been picked, looking for left behind ears. One year I made $35. Things did take longer back then, but it still worked - even if you had to work through the night to get the crop in. And if you ever passed a Dairy Queen, you had to pick up milkshakes for the guys in the field on those hot summer days.
It's wild to see local farms on a channel that gets international attention Lapes do a fine job
Amazing videos of picking the corn I really enjoyed watching it as I can no longer do it I thought about going back I heard of a place that will outfit the equipment for a paraplegic but I don't know if I could take the bouncing around and I'm down to much to be of any use to anyone maybe some day God will let me walk again
Ever feel like the greener the combine, the better job it does? JOHN DEERE all the way, baby!!
So satisfying to watch this video. Thank you
Hello
Great video as always thanks Mike
Seems like a waste not to keep the unloading auger out the whole time 😁
A $350,000 tractor pulling a $100,000 grain buggy, chasing a $550,000 combine around the field. Modern farmers amaze me. If they have a 7 day harvesting job, they'll buy enough equipment to finish in 5 days and then complain the other two days that they aren't making any money.I've farmed for 45 years and I have what to me is nice equipment but it isn't what the younger generation would be seen driving.
You haven't farmed very long lol that's the way it goes
I agree but having the equipment to get it out in a limited window for good yield and dry crop harvest is nice. If I farmed it would be a mix of older 80's- 2000's equipment thats been well taken care of and alot simpler to do your own mait on.
@@cumminspoweredab7441 On are farm we use equipment from the late 1930's to the newest tractor being a 2002 TS100 New Holland tractor. Just about everything we use what bought brand new by my Great Grandfather. I have some pictures of the equipment on my instagram page @nickwilburn6352
Not true about all the younger generations, I'm 31 and the biggest tractor I've run is a JD 4520, newest being a Kubota L3510.....would love a shot at driving around something massive like most farms, or what they should be called, corporations, run such as that DeltaTrac in the video, but highly unlikely to happen lol
Well when you are a subsidy farmers you have nice stuff.....

Awesome Agriculture Equipment Machine
Your soil looks perfect!
Nice video Mike.I was quite surprised to see how the Versatile tractor is configured at the back side compare with EU versions.
Versatile = simple and reliable
I like the Sweet Ones into Roti type.👍🏻
Great great work 🤝👀💖
wow thats close to where I live ... its about hour south in terre haute. rock on man keep up the good vids. I believe there is a few down here starting to harvest also .
Takes a lot of power to take in 12 rows at a time, moving rite along also...
Always like your videos, keep them coming!😎
Nice video, amazing machines. Thanks
Amazing technology. This is truly feeding masses and increasing wealth.
you could end hunger in the US if one of those fields was dedicated to feeding the homeless with corn
You know food pantries take donations, right?
@@CrazyAlienLady051 Thats how ridiculous the illusion of money is
Is there hunger in the US?
how I will regain the costs of that corn used for poors?
You know you're from the Midwest...
If you find this exciting.
Love the videos iam a subscriber from Ontario Canada
Amazing work 👌
Very Nice video! Thanks
👌 greetings from Switzerland
Great stuff.
I only wished we had fields that big and square all of the ground we farmed was hilly across creek bottoms and chopped up patches I had a few so small it was all I could do to get turned around
Mike on Friday November 2nd I saw a claas jaguar 900 just west of elkader on gunder road
Useful to know your soil type thanks.
I remember as a little boy watching a combine and two tractors running across a cornfield as we made our way to Chicago
Super Video
Some savage machinery investment there ...great video....what sort of acreages supporting this scale of investment??
This is where I live. It’s right on the wabash
Adam Stonebraker lol why are you watching farm videos
Damnit Jake can’t a man type in Covington indiana into UA-cam and explore?
Nice Video 👍🏻🚜
é sua fazenda nos vídeos
it's your farm in the videos
Mike - Thank...
I love that big Green combine with the fat tires that's what I ran I wasn't a fan of the 2 skinny duals
Crazy how these machines pick up dead snakes and mice and grass hoppers and then we eat it
Great video!!
Very nice!
It’ll be nice to know what these guys think of the Brandt cart vs the kinze.
Great video, what about yield?
Cool video but I notice that the combine has wide tires on the front of it
с такой стоимостью техники необходимо выращивать лекарственные растения а не стандартные.
Top video
Is the combine using data from the planter on row positions? For example, when making a "first cut" through the field, it seems to know the multiple of the 12(?) row head. Is it being GPS controlled down the passes, based upon the data records of where the planter passed?
Yes, they can even put a fertiliser in the autumn, and then plant corn exactly where the fertiliser was with sub inch accuracy
Indiana: A state that works
máquina top
How much is a farm with 2000-2500 acres in Indiana? Thank you!
you gotta feed a lot of people
Anyone else notice the tram lines opposite of the rows? What was the row spacing? 20 inch?
Brilliant teamwork, what would be the yield 10 to 12 tonne a hectare is my guess
I wish you knew what the yield was. That’s got to be pushing 300 bpa doesn’t it??
Why not to put the trailer running next to the harvester pumping directly in the carrying container the grain, instead of pumping the grain in a container hauled by a tractor then the tractor takes the container to the trailer?
Money savings
Efficiency, it allows everyone to keep moving. It keeps the combines empty so they never have to stop, and keeps the trucks full so they can keep going. That way instead of the trucks having to follow the combines for a few hoppers full for a while by the time they get there a grain cart has a load all ready for them. In addition, a tractor pulling a grain cart handles the terrain much better, in terms of being less likely to get stuck, and a much smoother ride for the operator.
This is farming on a huge scale,, maybe the only way forward to provide enough food for the 7.5 billion people.. The amount of money the equipment is worth is staggering.....
My combine alone is 850,000
Asking about yield is like asking someone who they voted for LMAO 😋
I never really understood thise kind of questions and why there supposedly inappropriate to ask i mean asking someone there credit card number is bad but asking who they voted for is just well un my case when i usally ask those questions i just want to start a good conversation with the person about our differences and political beliefs and asking what their yield was is just a curious thing to ask it could help farmers compare eachothers produce every year and compare the different seed varietys and diffrents ways of farming to increase maximum yield
Great 😃😃
How much productivity in your country?
That combine can handle a 16 row head with ease. Why run a little 12 row?
Muscle Tractor Fan no use for it, not enough trucks or auger wagons to keep up
They probably plant with 12 or 24 row planters
Ryan they plant corn with a 1770nt 24 row planter and plant beans with a db60 on 20 inch rows
Cool, was just pointing it out as one of the many reasons they use a 12 over a 16 row
Exactly, not making money unless its moving
Quero ver se consegue colhe essa quantidade esse ano
If I could ask a dumb question, what happens to the actual cobb after the corn is shelled?
Its thrown out the back of the combine usually chopped up and just used for organic matter back into the soil.
What speed is the 16 head cornpickerf going at?
woww is so dasty
Transgenic corn?
Why not have green tractors with tracks instead of red one's just wanted to know lol
Hi guys, which trait re u using?
How many acres does the combine work on?
What’s the advantage of having tracks on a trailer.? Don’t see that in theUK
Look up the advantages then.
How many tons did you collect per hectare?
Какая урожайность??
What was your yield per acer?
May I ask a question?Do you miss a lot of kernels with this machine?
All combines lose a little bit, but it isn't much. It has sensors that will realize if too much corn is going out the back. I believe modern machinery have gotten aver age loss down to the 2% to 4% range compared to the total amount shelled.
Please I need an investment to come to my country Ghana.enough farm lands for maize
👍👍👍👍👍
how many small animals and insects get sucked into that machine in and ground up? lol
None.

Max Thurman Yes sure did
Mike Less - Farmhand Mike they have grown by a few thousand acres since I last worked for them but we always made sure the equipment was clean and in top shape, Dave who runs the s690 is a wealth of knowledge, I was also there when that irrigation was put in and it made a huge difference there on the sand
This is america
How close to the Wabash River is this?
Just a few miles
Why don't you just call them all grain carts

We shouldn't be eating this type of food. No cereals and no meat. You should only eat vegetables. That being said, I do love to watch a big combine harvester and super size tractor every now and then. So I guess it's ok.
You're entitled to your opinion, but please realize that is all it is. An opinion. It holds no weight.
I know
But nice tractor and that's a fact, you can't beat a John Deere, except maybe a Massay Fergusson, or maybe a Case. Or a Ford. Or Fendt. or and Alice Chalmers. Or a Lamborgini, or a Farrari.
In any case, agree to accept all opinions
