Thanks for taking us along to the show. I guess I didn't win the toy raffle. I thought they were giving away both toys. Anyways, I enjoyed both videos and if they have a raffle next year, let me know.
I went to an auction today. I was bidding up a storm but only bought 3 things for myself. A like new kohler k series propane generator, a chainsaw ( because it only brought 2.50$), and a broken big A muffler lighted bubble clock. I bought a 1978 Arctic cat jag, a 8 foot JD cultivator, and a potato hiller for my uncle. My dad bought a whole herd of stuff home including a brake drum lathe for only 10$!! In total only spent around 300$ for all of it!!
It’s always neat to see an H model JD. Grandad’s was one of the first tractors I ever ran. He bought it new during WW2 and it came without tires because all the tires were going towards the war effort…
Nice showing of tractors and loved listening to the gas engines in the background. I'm to the point I may just sell off my entire Sears & Roebuck collection including garden tractors. I have not had the time to play with any of it in years. On another note, I sure miss flea markets, seems every year there is less and less flea markets and the folks who sell at them.
Nice video. Farmall C was our Loader Tractor, home-made loader (Dad was an agriculture mechanic and welder by trade). Our field tractors were an Oliver 70 (magneto - hand crank start); and an Oliver 88 souped up courtesy of my Dad. I remember working on it with him.The #88 was able to pull a 3 bottom thru the hilly clay hills in NE Iowa with ease. Dad made most of our wagons, we had a #4 mounted corn picker for the #88. Hay for the dairy herd was done with a New Holland twine baler (early one, Dad helped the local dealer refine the tying mechanism and lost the tip of a finger doing it).Our dairy barn with a huge hay loft is still standing and in good condition today. Largest barn in the area, then and now.
The tractor i have learned to drive on was a Ford County 1124. spend a lot of hours on that one cultivating and transporting patato's from the field to the shed. nice to see them on the show too.
My wife would not have been happy with me if I’d have been at that auction. Stuff was going cheap, I’m usually the guy trying to help the auctioneer out by bidding $10 to get it started and end up with something I wasn’t planning on buying😂.
Those are AC row units IH made a fast hitch planter but never in the tool bar style but they made pull type 2 4 and 6 rows as tool bar units those are some rare planters and go for big money 💵
Jd Hs where not really popular as they where a 1 plow tractor and we’re pretty expensive compared to an A or B IH also had there a and b witch were almost 2/3 the price of a jd h
Enjoyed the show from my chair, thank you Ross for taking us along
Thanks Doug for watching!!
The David Bradly tractors made me cry. I wish I had been there.
There were some deals to be had for sure!
Thanks for posting this. I got to see the entire show from my easy chair.
No problem! Bet you didn’t get to enjoy an eight dollar fish sandwich 🤣
@@rosstheoliverman True. I had a 75cent fish sticks sandwich.
Thanks for taking us along.
You’re welcome!
This was enjoyable, probably because it was small, so you covered everything in a reasonable amount of air time.
Thanks! It was a nice size show I just wish there was more spectators to enjoy it.
The hit and miss sitting on the IH skid had a musical rhythm.
It ran pretty sweet!
Thanks for taking us along to the show. I guess I didn't win the toy raffle. I thought they were giving away both toys. Anyways, I enjoyed both videos and if they have a raffle next year, let me know.
Thanks Charlie! The drawing was at the end of the video. I think they are planning on doing one next year so I’ll let you know.
@@rosstheoliverman Groovy!

Thanks Kenny!
Very enjoyable Ross!! Thanks for bringing us along. 😊
Thanks Donald!
Thanks for taking us along. I really like IH Cub Cadet garden tractors. I have a 1650 I have some motor issues I need to work on.
Thanks for watching!!
I got a deal on my black hawk corn sheller! That is the first country tractor i've seen.
This guys got several of them he really likes four-wheel-drive tractors
It’s always neat to see an H model JD. Grandad’s was one of the first tractors I ever ran. He bought it new during WW2 and it came without tires because all the tires were going towards the war effort…
Cool! Like I said you just never see those around here. It’s mostly A’s and B’s.
Great video. I do love those meet ups. Took me back in time with all of those tractors there. Thank you for taking us along.
Thanks Keith!

You should do videos on your walk behinds please and thank you have a great day great video
I’ll try to do that sometime. Thanks for watching!!
You need to show us your hit and miss engines sometime.......... please 🥺
I will do that as we get closer to fair time hopefully.
Enjoyed thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!!!
I love that little 500 such a cute little tractor . I would have bought those weights for my little JD i need 2 more lol
I’m glad I went back and bought that 500. I passed on it the first time but it’s been a pretty sweet little feller.
Thanks for great tour
Thanks James!

Cool stories! I love hearing about the old days and the stuff people had.
David Bradley and Simplicity use to make some of those old two wheel walking tractors. An older brand was Planet Junior.
I have probably 50 walk behind garden tractors. I tried to limit myself but like anything it got out of hand 🤣
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Nice little change in the the day ,but you could have took the red players just in case .😂God Bless
I never thought of that, I might’ve needed them 🤣

That’s cool! I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who grew up around them. None of these came from around here, he brought them all in.
Thank you
Thanks David!
No molines? Maybe next year you can take your MM combine.
Yeah, they weren’t really big around here. There was a few.
I figured you would have gone home with a truck full of treasures
I restrained myself 🤣
@@rosstheoliverman 😁
Them weights they sold were 30 series JD weights!
I figured they were off of some deere. I noticed the auctioneer said they were Oliver but that’s not right.
Need see your Oliver 415 sickle in action 😎
Someday….
Thanks Michael ☺️
Thanks Michael!
👍👍
Thanks Tom!

🤣🤣🤣
Nice video! Ross you going to make to Maumee Valley show in August?
I don’t think I will. It’s quite far.
Ya always wonder where people find some of these collectables.
There’s some neat stuff out there!
Those are AC row units IH made a fast hitch planter but never in the tool bar style but they made pull type 2 4 and 6 rows as tool bar units those are some rare planters and go for big money 💵
That’s what I was thinking. Thanks!
Outstanding video Ross. Any 730 or 720 JD’s there? I spent a lot of time on those 2 tractors
I don’t think so. I always thought I wanted a 720 Diesel with a pony motor. Maybe someday…
48:43 IH 264 4 row planter they are poly fertilizer box’s my bosses friend has one
That’s interesting!
That doodle bug is cool whats it made from
I’m not sure but it is cool!!
I recognize someone in this video
He should look pretty familiar…
Are you still farming your great, great grandfather’s farm?
Yes. My dads place has been in the family since coming from Germany. Where I live Great Grandpa bought in the 1950’s.
I never see any propane models in your videos ross. Do you own one?
No, they just were not a thing around here. I’d like to have one just to play with.
Hey ross can I become a club member from out of state
Yes you can!!
I’d buy that David Bradley and put a predator engine on it
Build a wagon and pull it
I’ve seen several guys do that.
Jd Hs where not really popular as they where a 1 plow tractor and we’re pretty expensive compared to an A or B IH also had there a and b witch were almost 2/3 the price of a jd h
Yeah you don’t see too many
thanks for taking us along
Glad you enjoyed!!!
