A great game. CU made a statement tonight because they almost beat KState who is no push over. If it wasn't for DJ Gideon, KState had no chance against CU. And i know we love Travis but without him, the team looked more balanced because shedur spread the ball out more and we got a chance to see other receivers. If CU has a stronger line, nobody would be able to beat them because shedeur is really good although he makes some mistakes too

As a CU fan. The Buffs Secondary plays better as a unit with Carter Stoudemire as the starter. Micha Welch & Augustave should have both started at RB Tonight. Hayden is not a RB 1 at all. Hayden doesn't break tackles he usually goes down on 1rst contact and takes poor cuts sometimes. As a coach myself. You never pull a player who is on a hot Streak (Welch, Augastave, Stoudemire) It isn't a good idea to immediately start a player (Shilo) who has had more than 1 week off. (Stoudemire should have been the starter tonight). Travis Hunter: While it awesome to see a two way player it isn't good for team chemistry & cohesiveness. Once that player (Travis) goes down it creates a psychological disruption in the team because that player (Travis) is occupying two roles. It creates a void because in essence you lose 2 STARTERS instead one. Losing 2 starters in a BIG game against a quality opponent equals defeat nearly always. (31-28) Travis should start on only 1side of the ball. While playing 2nd string on the other. Leaving room for a teammate to start at WR or DB. That is why no matter how good a player is, most coaches (College or NFL) won't allow a player to start at 2 positions. You "LOSE" too much when that player goes down. Coach Sanders insistence on continuing to allow Travis to start at 2 positions shows that he did not learn from last year's CSU game. After Travis was injured the season was basically over. I thought that is why CU brought Will Shepard in.
Shilo should have never came back and started in this particular game he was horrible tonight and threw off the chemistry of the defense…but overall good game Sheduer needs to work on not holding the ball so long

K-state tried and tried to give the game away to the Buffs, but they couldn't. They still won despite an absolutely terrible secondary and very questionable play calling
Why play him if he hasn’t played? Coach prime was dead wrong not playing 23 at safety.. he been playing really good, but since Shiloh your son.. he gets in the game no matter what.
