Yeah, so just for reference since there was a bit of confusion, here are the 7 Princes of Hell and their nicknames:
Lucifer - Prince of Pride
Satan - Prince of Wrath
Beelzebub (Bee) - Prince of Gluttony
Mammon - Prince of Greed
Asmodeus (Ozzie) - Prince of Lust
Leviathan - Prince of Envy
Belphagor (Belle) - Prince of Sloth
I'm not gonna tell you what to think, but I feel like you're just not understanding anything about this episode. And I feel like it's really clever that they made Bee, the queen of gluttony, such a caring and aware person. She's basically the opposite of anything you would think she would be too, even though she still very much represents the spirit of gluttony. And the plot with Blitzo and Loona is set up really well.
In spite of the initial "part 2" for its title, I'm pretty confident it's been stated over & over that this episode was meant to just be a bonus

I've seen it mentioned that it was specifically meant to be a 'feel good thank you to the fans for their support'. So definitely a different 'vibe' from the usual episodes, but I personally liked it, especially the obvious animation effort that went into it.

Calxiyn and Hunter, just to correct you guys. She doesn't have a last name (at least one that we do not know of yet) Her name is just simply called Beelzebub, but the producers/writers put a "-" on her name as an intentional pun on what she is based on, a bee as in a queen bee. Queen Beelzebub or rather Queen Bee-lzebub. Beelzebub is the princess/queen of the Gluttony Ring, like how Asmodeus is the prince/king of the Lust Ring. Making her on the same league as Asmodeus and above Stolas. Just thought I should inform you guys about this. Have you two even try to research on the Binsfeld's classification of demons or the Ars Goetia or Hell's hierarchy?

They know. Caixiyn multiple times says she is the queen of Gluttony and even calls her Bellzebub. ... Also, one shouldn't read a whole other book to understand the series

I like that the Sins so far are self aware of how self destructive their sins are when done in excess. Like how Beel tells Loona Blitz isn’t okay and she’s concerned. And how Asmodeous says Stolas gave his life for Lust “You sold your life for a thrust.” They know who they are and are unashamed of it.

The fact you think EVERY episide needs a complete "conflict" is odd. This was more of a celebration episode with a twinge of emotion. Y'all expect too much for certain things.
Like, the only reason it was delayed was because of something that isn't even their fault, so "waiting so long" isn't even a valid argument. It's not like they delayed it because it was a msssive story beat or some shit.
Queen Bee is unique, and so far I think is the perfect embodiment of gluttony.
Every episode needs to have stakes or else why do we care? If it was a celebration episode that’s fine, but I don’t think Loona and Blitzo even needed to be there to accomplish that. That’s why it’s getting criticism - because if this were a regular episode of a regular show and this was the season finale, completely focused on visuals / the celebrity guest star, instead of the main characters it would be odd.
Hunter’s point is that she’s glad she wasn’t super invested in seeing the finale because after it was delayed it would be disappointing. But the delay doesn’t have anything to do with the disappointment. She’s just conveying that she’s glad she forgot about it or else she would be overhyped for something that wasn’t that good as an episode or as a finale. Basically the delay isn’t us “arguing” that the delay makes the episode bad, she’s just personally glad she had no expectations.
@@calxiynOpinions are opinions I guess. I feel it was worth it, I care because I wanted to see her at the party they said she was invited to, I got exactly what I wanted and expected + more. I didn't expect much from an episode about a party.
In my eyes I just don't know why people are obssesed with "stakes". Normally you don't NEED stakes to care about something all the time. I'm not one to believe EVERY episode needs stakes, it's not realistic.
Maybe we just have different expectations for certain things. That's fine, it's just something we just won't ever agree on. Just thought I'd give how I think.
But life always has stakes lol. Like even something mundane like going to work every day - you go to work so you don’t get fired, so you can pay for food, those are the stakes lol. Like, stakes aren’t just a “writers choice” - like some sort of writing function. Stakes are part of life. Blitzo’s stakes and Loona’s stakes just don’t matter enough because they have nothing to lose or gain by being here. (Except for Loona who almost had… boyfriends to gain I guess lol).

You can't use any of that as an argument. There's not ALWAYS something more in life, it's never been that way. Some people face more or less conflict than others at certain times, and many times not at all. Especially on a day to day basis, are you joking?

Wow. Totally lost the narrative here, but I have to disagree on literally every take you had here. Great episode. Kesha did amazing work DESPITE not being a long standing VA. Song was banging. Blitz and Loonie character development was great.

Song didn't mix anything up for the length, you realize Cotton Candy are the words that make 1/3 of the song right? It's agonizing, starts fine but turns out awful and something I don't want to listen to again.
@@artistanthony1007 Which is fine, but plenty of people enjoyed it the way they would a pop/dance song, which doesn't necessarily need 'lyrical substance'. The point of it seemed to be more for the 'feel good carefree party' vibe, (& for the theme to fit gluttony itself, along with the fact that pretty much every character there was high on hallucinogenic honey-alcohol) which I think it managed quite well.

I think a section of bridge or an ad lib was cut from the original and replaced with another round of the chorus (I suspect it was originally done by Kesha that was VERY tightly synced with the animation that the replacement couldn't match so they simply cut it instead).

Yeah this ep was just filler it was meant to be a “celebration” ep for finishing their first season
yeah but it's filler done good unlike C.H.E.R.U.B. for example. They act like it was worse than some of the season 2 episodes which is just plain wrong and I don't hate any of the season 2 episodes but this was still better done than some of the episodes in season 2 or at least better paced.
On the one hand, sort of a good thing going like a usual 100 episode special. But on the other hand, it had a cliffhanger to what will Blitzo and Stolas’s relationship will be only to just skip and say that it is fine. With brief flashes of it instead of the next episode giving the full length truth
9:25. Belphegor (or Belle as Beelzebub calls her here) is another one of the seven princes. She’s the embodiment of Sloth similar to how Asmodeus is the embodiment of Lust and Beelzebub is the embodiment of Gluttony.

I'm a big fan of contradictories so having Bee-Lzebub's voice sound like they have malicious intent and "pretending" to be nice but is actually genuine is kinda fun to me. Kesha's voice acting(to me at least) sounds a lot better than most celebrities' voice acting I've heard. Then again, it might be because I've listen a lot of low quality movies lately 😂😂
I think that Hunter and I are too autistic for that (like quite literally). That’s probably why we were so confused because it’s the ultimate mixed signals and not being able to rely on reading someone’s tone LOL.

Bee is awesome and I’m personally glad she wasn’t an antagonist for loona to go up against and was just plain chill as fuck!
She's a Deadly Sin but way too nice, it doesn't feel right and I swear, this is no longer becoming Hell, if Viv makes the other Sins good-willed then I can't continue this show because many like Mammon are supposed to be evil, they run Rings and Hellhounds are slaves and at the bottom of Heirarchy.

Artistic license has been what dictates all the decisions made in this universe, including the personalities of the characters. Agree or disagree, like it or don't.
Honestly i can't agree with basically any of your complaints. Way too reminiscent of people who complained about Stella's depiction in S2: y'all made up headcanons and set certain narrative expectations, and then when the show didn't do that y'all decided that was bad writing instead of just being different to what you wanted.
Bitchy party girl is a really boring trope at this point, the show is better for not having made Bee that way.

Yeah Cal and Hunter, Bee is short for Beelzebub, she’s one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Bee is quite literally the Queen or Princess of Gluttony like she mentioned before singing. That’s why she casually talked about Satan and Belphegor, whom is another sin, Belle is the Sin of Sloth. Their status in the hierarchy of Hell surpasses that of Stolas’s family the Ars Goetia and Overlords like Alastor. The only ones above the Sins are the King of Hell himself Satan and Charlie the Princess. Bee is actually the second Sin we’ve seen thus far, the first being Osmodeous of Lust who we saw in the Ozzie’s episode.
Another thing, this episode took two years to come out because Kesha’s involvement caused some legal issues with her producers, apparently they wanted to claim royalties for the Cotton Candy song since she wrote it and actually recorded the first take for the song and a bunch of other things which made the episode being legally seen and heard verboten all this time. The legal case just ended barely a week ago that’s why the episode was finally given the okay to be released and Kesha cut ties with those terrible producers and removed the cash dollar sign in her name.
Another, another thing, it is seriously impressive that Viv has the ability to hire star-studded names for an indie web cartoon, first Norman Reedus and now Kesha, thats honestly something to give praise for. I wonder who’ll be next? Maybe Keanu Reeves or Margot Robbie?

It was so sweet, & was probably one of the very few things that could really make him happy after the awful night he had. She was proud of him, & even expressed it in front of others when she's usually embarrassed by him.
I find it slightly hilarious how loona talks to Beezlbub, like that's the person who signed your adoption papers girlfriend, that is literally YOUR queen, that is the prince(ss) of hell that rules your species and was responsible for you actually getting to leave that pound (granted she is probably also responsible for her being there in the first place). Her name is literally on her adoption papers that blitz held in one of the other episodrlez though.
I think about this a lot, lol. I think it's a combination of Bee literally lowering herself to the level of her people and partying amongst them, and Loona being willing to protect herself and her family (Blitzo) at all costs. She did back off once Bee showed her true power level, though. I do wonder how Loona couldn't have known about her patron Prince(ss). Perhaps she only knew her like some people know the names of celebrities they're not terribly interested in. Perhaps she's just more sheltered than we think.
Except...no? The signature was "Bel" which, judging by the fact that Beelzebub calls herself "Bee" and Belphegor, an entirely different person mind you, "Bel"...somehow I think Belphagor is the one running the pound, not Beelzebub.

2) That...seems both in-character of Beelzebub here, and like it's deliberately done to cause confusion.
3) Honestly, even with that knowledge, I feel like it's due to Bee running that pound, which Loona obviously hated her time in, and due to seeing how Blitzø acts around a certain member of Nobility that makes Loona just...not give a fuck. Especially since, just because Bee signed the paper, doesn't necessarily mean Loona ever even saw her, it could have been that Blitzø was led to an office, the papers got signed, and he left with Loona. Not saying that *is* what happened, just that it could have been.
Idk, not trying to pick a fight (saying this in case I seem aggressive here), just feel like things need to be mentioned.

It was confirmed by vivsie in one of her livestreams and by one of the story writers that the signature on loonas adoption papers is "bee" with an oversized second cursive "e" and not an "L"
I really liked this episode, a fun epilog to the much more serious episode 7, but still shows how it's effecting blitzo and also exploring how anti social loona is. I think yall are just looking too deep into things and are more distrustful than most. From what I've seen, a majority of people enjoy this and REALLY love bee and how kesha played her

@@artistanthony1007 I'm saying based on scrolling through literally thousands of tweets when it was trending, and looking at the like to comment ratio on them, ALOT of people enjoyed this episode. You're free to dislike it, but don't act like a majority hated it because based on numbers, that's just not true
actually what caused the lawsuit and 1 3/4 year delay was because Kesha co-wrote the "Cotton Candy" song as well. essentially the original plan was likely to have Kesha being the sole VA and singing voice. But the record label Kesha was suing for the past decade wanted to own the song as well.
The result was that Spindlehorse had to get a replacement singer while the legal BS delayed the episode.
I think you guys are too used to almost every episode having a villain. lacking anything sinister didn't make the writing "strange", in my respectful opinion. I found it to be a breath of fresh air. as for the self-indulgence of the episode, again, I respectfully disagree. sure Viv got Kesha BUT that means she managed to give her audience Kesha in an episode and sort of met that middle ground in other ways. "it didn't go anywhere at all". ok, well it kind of did go somewhere by showing us more of what Loona is like in situations like this, giving us more of her personality even though we saw a little of it the first time we met Vortex. maybe also a potential friend for her despite the heavily rocky start. it also revealed to us exactly how hard the Ozzie's event hit Blitz and Loona FINALLY calling him dad twice and openly expressing care for him. they also didn't really build the episode around the song, but forgive me if I got that wrong because you two were all over the place to me towards the end. I personally loved Kesha's voice acting... BUT I'm not going to say you're wrong because that is an entirely subjective discussion I simply am not willing to have because I've seen how hostile those can get on the internet. As for the self-contained point. maybe they plan on doing that. maybe they don't. who the hell knows? maybe they just wanted to introduce us to one of the Seven Sins just like they did Asmodeus before eventually doing that. as for the whole Blitz thing, I just imagine Loona caught him after the worst of his trouble-making. something that would be nice for others to consider since offscreen action is a thing. I mean shit, that sort of thing happens in real life where you hear someone's being self-destructive but you catch them after the worst of it has already been done. as for her not being a bad person who's manipulating people for something. even protagonists manipulate others and not every ruler of Hell has to be objectively or absolutely evil. as for her dating Tex. what the crap is anyone going to do or say about that when there's literally like maybe just two or three people higher in the hierarchy and her association with the hellhounds is very open? like she hangs out with them a LOT. as for the whole comment about the people in power being able to do whatever they want, Asmodeus definitely wouldn't be able to safely expose his relationship with Fizz after the situation with Stolas and Blitz. he would be ridiculed as a hypocrite or whatever in the news and possibly by others. that's sort of the difference between Bee and Asmodeus. Bee doesn't give a shit about the opinions of the other rulers of Hell. She'll do who she wants when she wants, and currently that would be Tex. the thing with Asmodeus was VERY DIFFERENT than the situation here. People might judge her but they're not about to, pardon my language, fuck around and find out since she's so high up in the social hierarchy and the news can't really shame her like it could definitely do to Asmodeus because of her association and frequent parties with hellhounds and stuff. one last thing to end this essay - which wasn't originally intended to be an essay but you guys tried to argue so many things and I got into a hefty debate mood while typing this, so sorry - but the episode wasn't really built around the celebrity. yes it did include her but it felt more like an introduction to Beelzebub, showing us more about Loona and then how bad Blitz is taking what happened at Ozzie's. If it isn't clear, I don't agree with any of the things you said BUT I respect your opinions, which is why I'm not being all "HoW dARe YOu!!!" about it. that's just not my style. sorry if anything in that essay seemed like nonsensical rambling. still loved the video though. as always, have a marvelous day or night whenever you read this IF you have the patience to try. if you manage it and find I misunderstood something, PLEASE, for the love of god, don't bash me upside the head. politeness is all I'm asking for here. They actually got KESHA FLIPPING KESHA and made her a literal party wolf befitting her and song that matches her in everyway possible, bonus for Loona showing her softer side.

In judging this episode, unfortunately this was meant to be part of episode 7, as a full extra length finale. But it got split so we could still continue onto the next season

I think this might be a cultural difference more than anything else.
So what you seem to be missing is there are 7 Demons that exist as the embodiment of the 7 deadly sins. Each one 'rules' a particular ring of hell. Lucifer(Charlie's father in Hazbin Hotel) is the demon lord of Pride, Mammon (seen in outline in the S2 trailer) is the lord of Greed, Asmodeus (seen in S1E7) is the lord of Lust, Bee-zelbub (in this episode) is the lord of Gluttony, Belphegor (mentioned by Bee) is the lord of Sloth, Satan (also mentioned by Bee) is the lord of Wrath and Leviathon (who hasn't been seen or mentioned yet) is the lord of Envy. The demon lords are kind of semi-related, hence why Bee talked about Satan being hot, but it being weird cause he was like her brother.
Lucifer it's the king of all hell and a angel not a demon.
I’m just worried that these characters who are voiced by all these celebrities might not come back 😢 Scheduling conflicts, loss of interest, etc. I hope we see more of Bee, Ozzie, Verosika and Fizz
I think Verosika, Ozzie and Fizz are locked in. Not sure when we'll see Verosika again, but we should be getting an Ozzie/Fizz episode sometime soon, and Ozzie is voiced by the same VA that voices Tex (he was also an extra in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, so he ain't goin nowhere imo). I'm worried that if Bee returns that she'll get the Striker treatment, but I won't lie and say that I don't desperately want to see her again.

I was honestly astonished seeing Bee's design at first. I really thought she would've had a full bee-like design. Nevertheless, her design's stunning.
in demonology, Cerberus is the guardian of the Gluttony Ring, so it makes sense that she is dog-like. As a nod to that part of the actual Beelzebub's history/mythos.

She’s a party girl you simply put a hidden narrative to the character that wasn’t there. She genuinely cared about the people at her party and was worried about the energy blitzo was giving off. I get it’s hell but not everyone in the verse has been “bad” most have been fairly decent people.
Yeah seems like they just saw her and assumed she had to be evil, and regardless of anything done in the episode, they stuck with the idea that she had to be evil and there was some nefarious motive behind it all
It’s not even that she has to be bad - but there needs to be a conflict this episode, and Blitzo isn’t doing anything ‘bad enough’ to be interesting. His “out of control” isn’t even that abnormal or self destructive.
And with what we proposed, her honey can have a poor effect on him without her being bad.

You have loona who suffers from self doubt and apparently has a reputation of being a very angry person amongst the hell hounds and then you have blitzo drinking away his problems. It wasn’t necessarily what blitzo was doing it was more so how he was feeling while he was doing it. Like the way B responds to it seems like if he was genuinely happy while doing that she would’ve been cool with it. The way I interpreted the episode they were going for showing off two sides of self loathing and depression. We have loona who very much outwardly expresses herself when she’s mad or upset but her dad blitzo acts like this all the time so people just assume he’s fine but because B could feel energy she knew he wasn’t.
She's gluttony. She's supposed to be desired. If she was a nasty person she wouldnt be wanted or be able to attract people to her parties

The conflict being emotional doesn’t mean it’s good, though. Stakes only feel powerful when a character has AS much to gain as they have to lose. But Blitzo’s behaviour wasn’t going to ‘lose’ him anything, so it feels pointless. Like Hunter said, they could have gone darker with the angle of Blitzo being self destructive if that’s what they wanted to do, and those higher stakes can still exist even with Bee as a nice person. This episode would have been better without trying to insert Blitzo and Loona in here and just being a ‘special’ fleshing out the Hell Rulers.
Bee-Lzebub rules....man Kesha did an amazing job.....if we ever see her again....either its a silent apperance or perhaps a recast like Striker....ether way i hope this ain't the last we see of Bee....she was amazing ans as a Prince we should expect to see more of them!
I like this episode. My only shame is that this was needed before Season 2 for some much needed context. I guess the issue was clearing Kesha
I also like that Bee wasn't a dick. Am I the only one sick of the man of my dreams fucking with a girl who is the worst trope? I'm glad at the end of it all they just ended on better terms and she moved on because another hellhound seemed legitimately interested in her
I'm guessing the issue was, kesha originally sang the song, her record label threw a fit and they spent so long trying to get them to allow them to use it, but eventually just found someone who cam sinh similar to kesha to redo it. It's happened alot actually, of musicians being super down for a parody or singing for a creative small thing, but their managers or labels get super pissed

@_Emrakull it shoes the events of season 1 episode 7 really effected bitzo, even if he seems like he's having fun, we know for sure now that deep down he's in a very dark place. When season 2 started and stoles was depressed and blitzo seemed fine already, it felt like he wasn't effected as much, but now we know he's just better at burying it and copes differently

She feeds off vibes. I think she genuinely wants to cultivate good feelings (even if it’s for her own selfish ends producing intoxicating Beelzejuice) but she’s still Beelzebub, Gluttony, Lord of the Flies.
She’s part of Mammon’s camp, she wants to make a Heaven out of Hell, and she’ll stuff you full of fluff and artificial happiness reaching for that light because she does NOT. DO. DOWNERS.
Still, this episode was the counterpoint to Ozzie’s. Asmodeus’ version of indulgence is selfish, reveling in taking and losing. Beelzebub is all about giving. Encouraging. A feedback loop of reaching for a high. When you’ve been deprived of, or deprive yourself of pleasure, like Loona has, there’s nothing wrong with getting a little more cotton candy in your life.
Fun little fact about those drinks that blitz and B were chugging where the same drink that verosica drinks out of her flask that made the fish monster so he's used to it. Also B is short for Beelzebub the demon embodiment of gluttony
The person Bee was referring to was Belphagor the Prince (or I guess Princess in Vivzie’s version) of sloth, the ring we visited in “western energy”

Kesha's recording company wouldnt allow her to do the singing part that's the reason this episode took so long. They had to find a dupe to sing instead. Plus nothing is wrong with her design it works for the story about her being a party animal

No the reason is because at the time of making this episode Kesha had a very abusive producer who wouldn't let her play on the show she os now free of this producer and can do what she wants

I mean Kesha was in the middle of a lawsuit at the time (which is why she couldn't do the singing for the character she's speaking for) so she probably had a lot on her mind. And her character is high or stoned off just natural energy.
this is my top 3 episodes, the music was fire. i luv seeing loona out n about. yes, limited plot but we need some levity in things to come. i thought kesha did well. she was hyper sure but she was concerned for blitz and then we saw loona call him dad for the first time. and, he has a pic of him n stolas saved on his phone, yeah, i love this episode.

The beelzejuice was already established as a drink veroskia drinks quite alot, so the whole manipulating people with it wouldn't have made sense

The relationship Asmodeus had and the relationship Bee had are very different. Imps are lower class, seen as unemployed, criminals, etc. The are 3rd class citizens it seems. That social gap will never be closed. Now, the issue is that Asmodeus sleeping with an imp is fine, as he is in a position where he can afford that, as where stolas not only didn't have a high enoygh positions. but was already married at the time. Moving on to Bee, she is heavily implied by the episode and Vivzie herself to be connected to the hellhounds in some way, hence her appearance fox appearance. Now, hellhounds are ranked at the very bottom. They seem to he treated all sorts of ways, from pets/children(seeing as how Blitz had to acompany loona to the hospital, and schedule the appointment, despite her being an adult), to regular people. Chances are, people care so little about hellhounds, they don't care if someone sleeps with one or not

First Nicki Minaj as Sugilite and now Ke$ha as Queen Bee-lzebub. I don't care what they say, i think more professional singers should try their hand at voice acting for animated shows they like. I get their rates are huge but it's not their fault that their producers keep them on such a short talent leash. In Japan if a famous singer/idol is interested in getting into acting their agents at least try to be reasonable with the rates especially if they are just branching out especially if they have no prior experience. Kanoko Miyamoto started out as a not very good actress before practicing to the point where she got a starring role in one of her favorite anime, Precure. And because she was an idol performer it saved Toei time and money since she was already on the payroll, to find singers to sing a few insert songs for Doki Doki Precure. She still got extra plus residuals for the songs on the OSTs and she is still in the rotation if Toei needs new Opening and Ending theme songs recorded. I think more performers should be allowed that amount of freedom in the USA

Loona was ready to leave after finding out how awesome Tex's girlfriend was, but then saw a chance to show both up. She wants to make Tex jealous and have Blitzo show up B.
Personally, I don't think Loona came back in intending to make Tex jealous, I think she was just genuinely happy to be receiving positive attention from what she seemed to think was an 'attractive male' (which acted as a 'pick me up' & showed that there are people who would be interested in her). She was definitely hung up on Tex before, but I think seeing Bee kind of dashed any sort of 'hopes' she had of having a 'chance' with him.

As refreshing as it may be to see a Lord of Hell be a genuinely nice person, maybe B's status or lifestyle will become too much for the relationship with Tex to work.

I didn't like the way loona was acting this ep her showing up to a party she wouldn't have gone too otherwise in an attempt to sus out tex's girlfriend and then steal him from her if she thought she had a chance to. Then getting upset when she sees his gf and realizes that she can't was seriously annoying! On top of that only choosing to stay because a different hunky wolf came up to her!. I think it undercuts loona's fiery independent nature that we have seen from her so far but I did love the development that was shown for her and blitz's small self made family❤. Also let viv self indulge a little she has been working so hard on this creation. that episode was primarily about the way blitz was handling what happened at Ozzies. Also if you pay attention I think that they are going introduce belphagor next! bel being the ruler of sloth That is kind of exciting. Beelzebub was just overindulging everyone at her party for their energy. Bee is a hell hound/bee herself and you guys are getting into a different seasons worth of content because viv has already started animating on twitter that Ozzie is going to get blow back for his relationship with fizz just like or maybe even worse than stolas with people calling him a hypocrite for what he did at Ozzies. Honestly though I do agree that they could have given us more; shown us more of blitz' self destruction and given us more drama with bee. essential I think that they tamed the episode down way too much because of Kesha' involvement and what ever else they had going on

There was a lot of suspicious focus on the honey. We thought it was going to be important, like that it was going to alter Blitzo's behaviour past what was normal for him to do, but it wasn't.

Your complaints seem to be that this is a filler episode which isn't always bad. It gives us a better look at the characters like this episode did and helps develop character. Like Loona had good development this episode by taking care of Blitz and calling him dad. And it was obvious this wouldn't have much relevance to the actual story cause if it did, season 2 wouldn't have been able to start before this came out like it did

The point of the episode was to be a celebration of how far we have come in this series. It was meant to be a party episode with no real plan just something fun to enjoy as a milestone
This one was very much on the subtle side, so heres what you missed. First off Loona never called Blitzo dad before this episode. Second there's an implcation by the poodle that Loona was abandoned by a pervious owner. Third theirs details hidden in the background when you get back to the appartment that will hint as to Blitzo's deminished mental state and self image. Lastly and least important Blitzo's ring tone for Loona is very telling given its puppies barking which gives off implcations he is struggling to accept his adopted daughter is an adult and not still a puppy.

Not all of us enjoyed episode 8 which was pretty much an overglorified music video, and of course we expected more narratively.
I really appreciate that. I think it's because we mentioned alternative ideas for how this episode could have gone that people think the criticism = "this isn't what I wanted they should have done this", but our criticism can stand by itself without making suggestions. We always make suggestions about potential ideas for how something could be executed differently to achieve a more impactful result, not cause we think we're "better" but because we want to see the show execute their vision better. I'm glad to hear someone else understand where we're coming from!

Like you said i think Kesha has a nice quality sound but some of the things that she was saying and how she was saying them seemed a bit too much. Although I was very much happy with how it turned out and that her character is actually all chill and vibes(basically very much her)
The pacing was a little off with how quickly Loona changed her mind and the whole “blitz is causing a scene” bit.
Other than that, I really liked the song and how it ended. Everything else was a bit fuzzy but i wouldn’t say bad. It was obvious that it was a homage to the viral Kesha video that they did. I also wished that it was created as a season special and not episode 8 cause like you said episode 7 did feel like more of a finale.
Overall, it was pretty fun and wholesome, and nothing to take too seriously. People may defend it more than I have, but I pretty much agree with some of what you guys have said🤷♀️

This might be the worst take I've seen. Think I can shorten my list of reactors after this. You guys had these weird expectations for an episode that was explicitly stated to NOT be that big of a deal in the narrative overall, and you completely missed the mark on almost everything.
