This man is literally my all time favorite filmmakers. He's a storyteller beyond what we know as storytelling. He can surprise you at any moment with what you thought you had figured out. I absolutely love that!
Night is such a good director ,and is a great story teller he made some master pieces knock is good , but sixth sense, unbreakable ,and sign are masterpiece, and nothing he made since can come close.
I find it fascinating that someone on his level of success still fears his idea well will run dry. I appreciate when artists share this stuff because it inspires me to keep going with my own art/vision when I feel inadequate. The fact that he is so disciplined and writes through that fear is what makes him truly exceptional. It is so easy to let those fears consume us but he fights the self defeat. I used to think I couldn't really do much of anything because there are people much more talented out there than I am. And yes there are but I'm learning that even the talented have to work really fucking hard, which makes it all feel less of a superpower and more of a triumph of will. Talent you are born with, but will is something that you can develop and strengthen over time, so if you can just will yourself out of the way you can create what you were always destined to create.
I'm so dissapointed of M Night's movies because now he adds strong language or even nudity to movies that could have been so good with out them. Now he even has actors swearing in front of little kids. Too bad that he wants for his films to be more "realistic".
I did like The Sixth Sense, but it didn't really stand out to me. For me, his greatest so far is Signs, glad he mentioned it here. That movie is so cerebral, emotional and damn cool! Looking forward to eventually seeing Knock!
They didn't do this clip justice by omitting his intro. The Roots are incredible. They did a rendition of the dance-hall classic CABIN STABBIN' and even worked M. Night's name into it. They do these brilliant intros quite often .
His likeable personality is what keeps him a favorite director of mine. The films are half incredible half meh but he keeps me coming back because he's just a good guy.
However, I will say that the actors in those films contributed to their greatness. I can't imagine other actors in those roles, and McEvoy knocked it out of the park
I've been a fan of M. Night for a long time and i'm really happy he's back. Have seen Knock at the Cabin twice and honestly it's a solid movie. Beautifully shot with great performances and a haunting killer soundtrack. Its not perfect, but its definitely one of his better films and it kept me interested the whole time.
i've met macca several times as he has owned a farm locally since the 60's, my parents even hasd dinner with him & jane asher at the local lawyers home, he was dealing with the purchase at the time. me & two of my brothers were even in the 'bonfire' scene of his 1977 xmas number 1, our drummer went a million better & was in the pipeband on the beach.
Never have I been more shocked by a movie more than Sixth Sense! I dont care what else he did, that twist in the Sixth sense will be the greatest twist in Movie History.
M. Night Shyamalan is the best movie director of this time. Hes had some weird movies but I love his movies they are completely original, theres no others like his. The two best scenes from his movies: 1. Signs, When Merrill swings away and beats the alien to death to the music score. 2. The Village, When Ivy is reaching her hand out in the darkness with a creature approaching and lucius grabs her to pull her inside with the musical score. Go watch those scenes/movies
I will always be a fan of Night. Not all his movies hit a home run but they are entertaining. I can’t wait to see Knock at the Cabin. I have purchased the book it is based on as well.
No matter what else he did, *The Sixth Sense* is one of the best movies of all-time.
Unbreakable is also fantastic, along with Split. I also think Glass is decent, for all its flaws
Signs was also fantastic
@@ms.peregrines2417 Signs was kinda meh and silly.
“They seem to have trouble with their pantry doors”😂LOL
Sixth sense is probably one of his best works but he has evolved as a film maker. I loved watching Signs, Old, Devil and this one (Knock).
I like all of those mentioned so far, except I haven't seen Old Devil. Minus one tiny flaw, Sixth Sense was perfect
What an unbelievably down to Earth guy.
Also an unbelievably After Earth guy.
This man is literally my all time favorite filmmakers. He's a storyteller beyond what we know as storytelling. He can surprise you at any moment with what you thought you had figured out. I absolutely love that!
Night Shyamalan is one of the most down to earth dudes in the biz .
Plot twist: M. Night Shyamalan was interviewing Jimmy Fallon all along.
“WHAT NOOOO….”
- Mark Whalberg, probably
He planed to murder him in his dreams 🤣🤣🤣
🙏 To the person reading this, even though I don't know you. I wish you the best of what life has to offer 🙏 🤗 ❤️
Shymalan is one of the best and worst directors ever and he seems like an awesome, likable guy who loves what he does
The sixth sense is his best movie!
Night is such a good director ,and is a great story teller he made some master pieces knock is good , but sixth sense, unbreakable ,and sign are masterpiece, and nothing he made since can come close.
Cool dude, love Signs 💕👽 And wow what a beautiful family you have too. Blessed 🙏

I needed to hear this today . Thank you !
Well said. The best artists always have that little insecurity of drying up. It pushes them to the heights that they reach.
One clever guy! He makes movies that make you say “ I didn’t see that coming”!
Knock at the cabin was very entertaining I loved it one of his best movies after the unbreakable universe
I'm so dissapointed of M Night's movies because now he adds strong language or even nudity to movies that could have been so good with out them. Now he even has actors swearing in front of little kids. Too bad that he wants for his films to be more "realistic".
They didn't even talk about Servant which is airing now and wrapping up the series...which is very excellent.
I did like The Sixth Sense, but it didn't really stand out to me. For me, his greatest so far is Signs, glad he mentioned it here. That movie is so cerebral, emotional and damn cool! Looking forward to eventually seeing Knock!
Shayamalan is a great film maker, but I've seen Knock at the Cabin and to me its not his best movie.
Thank you Mr Shyamalan for making the movie: The Village (2004). Enjoyed it as a kid, and now as an adult. 💯
wow one of the best ever horror scary and fav
Love his work tho of course it’s easy to make fun of
His work is hit and miss, really
I
Loved
The Sixth Sense
♥️🌟💪
I love M. Night Shyamalan. Knock at the Cabin is an awesome movie but I wouldn't say it's his best movie.
His best movies so far are Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Split. Glass was pretty decent.
@@chasehedges6775 I really liked The Island.
@@chasehedges6775 I'm sorry. I said The Island. I meant "Old". lol It had an island in the movie so I blanked.
@@chasehedges6775 The Visit was pretty solid imo
I'd like to see the Eagles win,but The Chiefs will win! Someone has to take Tom Brady's place as #1 QB!
Want to see nightshyamlan making a romantic comedy...his answers are very very cheeky
Didnt realize how fruity he is 😂

We need another split or glass movie , the 24 different identities is so iconic you could make it a franchise! ⭐️🍿✅
His likeable personality is what keeps him a favorite director of mine. The films are half incredible half meh but he keeps me coming back because he's just a good guy.
I've lost count of how many times I've watched SIGNS and 6th Sense. He's lovely.
How nice and charming is M Night, didn’t like that there was no twist in this movie, but still, I will always watch his films.
There was a twist right at the end...
@@dpnmodi was the twist that the apocalypse was real?
Unbreakable and Split are the best Non-Marvel/DC comic book films out there. Just wish he didn't fumble the ball with 'Glass' though... 😖
However, I will say that the actors in those films contributed to their greatness. I can't imagine other actors in those roles, and McEvoy knocked it out of the park
Donnie darko
Knock at the cain was a good movie. He's very good at revealing twists in the end.
They made fun of his movies but he made The fucking Sixth Sense THO
Hadn’t really made a bad movie yet, one of Hollywood greats
Mr. Shyamalan is the best.
I've been a fan of M. Night for a long time and i'm really happy he's back. Have seen Knock at the Cabin twice and honestly it's a solid movie. This guy wrote, produced and directed the Sixth Sense when he was 28 years old.
Hahaha "empirically, the funniest answer."
I love his movies but still I have to say!= M Night ShamalamaDing Dong!!
It's fun to say
"How do you think of these crazy ideas". It's based off a book.
He's pretty good aside from his god awful cameos which ruin the scene and are quite disrespectful
Un director de mucho talento
Today only I know what night shyamalan look like.
Now only I know that he is from Tamil origin from India.♥️
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this man is hilarious
knock at the cabin is one of the worst movie yet for the year.
Still cant forgive him for avatar though
Wait, what was the funny answer for the Cards Against Humanity? I can't believe Jimmy didn't ask.
He's brilliant.... just saw "Knock at the Cabin".....in two minds whether I liked it.. disturbing in these terrible times 🤔
He makes movies with great twists !
I will never forgive him for avatar
hes attractive and got good eyes
So creative, his one of my favorite Directors!! Good to see him…❤ I appreciate his unique takes on life, his mind is mind blowing…

Hey ask him about avatar
Paul MacArthy just reverse oreoed me he was the guy sitting then white and the guy sitting in the chair
Say whatever you want about this guy, but he makes MOVIES, for better or worse.

Now that 👆 is 1 absolute " LEGIT " Legend of all time 💯 ..
One word. Atla
His new movie has the lowest box office out of all of them. I’m a little sad for him..
How has Philly legend M Night never been in an Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode? ....Hell I'd love Night to direct an Always Sunny episode
He should've directed the one where they actually went to set of his new movie to be extras. But yes, he still should do one
The best
The Sixth Sense will always be his best film.
Pensé que este tipo estaba muerto cómo su carrera
signs sequel, you heard it here first
So who’s the Author Of The Book ??
Humanity has been judged
I liked The Village and Signs
Go Eagles 🏈🦅!!!
Now white guy again
New movie is good
So cool
I have not seen the movie yet. But became his admirer ever since I saw The Sixth Sense. He is very young and hope that he will keep improving.
No Views, Am I that Fast ?
🎼 M…Night…Shy~lama~lama~ding-dong….
👏🔥🙌One of the best directors today.
I will always be a fan of Night. Not all his movies hit a home run but they are entertaining. I can’t wait to see Knock at the Cabin. I have purchased the book it is based on as well.
"What's an M. Night?" - Frank Reynolds
I feel that the world needs an M Night movie starring Nicholas Cage and/or Gerrard Butler. I feel that's perfect cinematic chemistry.
Gerard, yes. Not Cage
🎉
