NCAA 13 was amazing. It basically shared most of the features with NCAA 14, and even had a deeper recruiting system than 14. Not sure why it's rated badly.

The biggest addition I want in the next game is a “discipline” mechanic. I want to see more flags like jumping off sides, pass interference, and all the other little things that are very prevalent in today’s game. Even targeting. Just add a mechanic that players with lower “discipline” values are more prone to mess up. Put in a Football IQ, graduation class, and playbook knowledge skill/task for modifiers to bump guys up. That would be huge and make major differences just like they do in actual games.

For me, I'd say in the PS3/360 era, '10, '13, and '14 were my favorites. In that order. - '10 all around gameplay was good. Recruiting was ok. - '13 gameplay was good. A little easier for offense. Recruiting was long, and tedious. Hated it. - '14 was just straight offense, and heavily based on the read option. Tons of buggy glitches that we had to figure out on the fly. Recruiting system was changed, and it's horrible. - I always play on Heisman, or customize it to be eeven harder. - I always run the Flexbone. That obviously changed significantly for the better in '14.
